money in the word 'internet money' may call the attention but does not mean the same as bitcoin. Bitcoin does not even need any revolution now either. I will rather say blockchain exploration

Voted for the Build The Internet Of Money.

First tag line has a bit destructive tone to it (revolution = overthrowing/destroying of status quo etc), while the latter sounds more constructive and positive, so more suitable for your education/programming profile.

Plus, the word 'revolution' has been massively overused over the years to the point that it sounds bit stale and boring.

Join the bitcoin revolution. It has clear intention to promote bitcoin. The other one is quite vague. Internet money can be interpreted in a lot of ways.

I see that your proposed 2 taglines... Well, both are good. Probably equally good IMO. You will be fine with using whichever you want.

But I would like to present some of my taglines too:

- Bitcoin - Be your own Bank (I know that this is slogan of blockchain.info and probably some other bitcoin related companies, but this is still very catchy phrase).
- Bitcoin - More than money (It is actual Bill Gates quote).

I like Join the Bitcoin Revolution more simply because it has the word revolution in it. The people outside of this community should realize that BTC is something much more than internet money. Its also a movement towards censorship resistance.

Heres my tag line. Be a pirate, use BTC.

pirate has a negative ring to it, it is no longer about censorship but it is about doing illegal act of piracy an sharing illegal content.
and besides bitcoin and censorship? i don't really see that to be the first thing that comes to mind when you talk about bitcoin.

to OP i like the first one "Join The Bitcoin Revolution" a lot more.

I voted for
Join The Bitcoin Revolution
Since that is my reason for joining bitcoin aside from it helps us in our daily financial needs I want to change in the way of thinking or visualizing something and this bitcoin helps me a lot like I really didn't imagine that there is a digital currency that exist. ;)

Bitcoin - learn programming the crypto way
Bitcoin - learn programming the financial way
Bitcoin - learn programming while making your own bank

Bitcoin - investing into our future money
Bitcoin - reinventing money of the future (not really related to your business though)

Look like only me and another one person voted for the second option. Both is fine but I personally like the second. Just from a personal aspect.

Its better to choose the second option since it cover a wide variety of ways and methods to create money online which includes bitcoin, and if we just focus on bitcoin it may really help out to promote bitcoin but readers would not know nothing else and since they are creating it for educational purposes then its better to teach or put all the possible ways which do include on option 2.

The "revolution" sounds so liberal and we already have a reputation that most Bitcoiners are Libertarians. < b.t.w this is not true > So I would rather go for < The Internet of Money > The mention of money, already grabs your attention and linking it to the internet, will hook even more attention. You can also explain it easier, than trying to explain to people why you need to revolt against a corrupt fiat system. ^smile^

Internet of moneys sounds to some people like some  world of warcraft currency.  To some other bitcoin revolution might sound a little dumb as its quite slow and ineffective revolution to say  at least. You cant target all the people so its best to use the whole variety of pr techniques.

I have voted for Join the Bitcoin revolution which sound more suitable to describe the bitcoin movement. Actually bitcoin have power to change the way we do our financial transaction as well as distributed ledger technology bitcoin have can be used in other fields too. So better to tag it in broad sense rather than just describing it as money.

I have a suggestion also.  "Coin the future"
Can I change that into "The future of money"?
Or, considering how populair HOLD (or HODL?) is: "Money for the future".

Bitcoin itself is a very commanding and catchy keyword. So I would go with the Revolution tagline. Most of the people who are regularly online, do know about Bitcoins now. "Internet of money" kind of put the user in confusion. As people are already curious and want to know it, Bitcoin revolution will be a better tagline.  :)

Join the bitcoin Revolution. Is the best tag line because bitcoin is not still emerged into many countries, only few countries are using it. Once we have many user attracting to bitcoin means definitely there will good future for all those who believe in bitcoin. Where as internet money is not concerned to only bitcoin there are many other currency earnings out there where we can make like USD, EUROS, etc.

I like the "Join the Bitcoin Revolution," has a nice ring to it. The only thing though is it might not make an impression on people who have never heard of Bitcoin. I suggest adding an extra line to drive the point. Maybe make it like "Join the Bitcon Revolution - the future of money", etc.

"Join the Bitcoin Revolution" sounds better of the two, but I feel that it doesn't fit too well to your educational products.
Maybe Learn about the Bitcoin Revolution could be better, but still not the best tagline.
Maybe hiring a marketing team that already worked with crypto world could be an option too....
Good luck!

First option, are you inspired by rogue one? Haha
Second option is too wide(?) Means internet of money, it's could be many ways, the government also planning for this, point is centralized.

*snip*

"The future of money"

I voted for this ;D

Neither of them are great to be honest, as has been said in my opinion the revolution is over, Bitcoin won.  And the internet money could mean anything.

Here is my tagline in line with the educational products you are selling
But wait are there commission or price given to the chosen tagline. Anyway here's my tagline, its simple but rocks.

"There is money in the net, learn programming and discover the hidden wealth online. Come join us!"

Title: Re: Which Is The Better Tagline?

I do not really like the idea of bitcoin revolution. the sense is too high. the word has deep meaning, I think. and we are not going to a revolution, aten't we?

the second one is not bad, but it sounds not really motivating. what about future money? but it sounds not good yet.

Title: Re: Which Is The Better Tagline?
Post by: DooMAD on December 20, 2016, 04:01:17 PM
Neither of them really sell the best points.  If your target audience includes programmers and investors, why not mention the open-source and permissionless nature of it?

Examples:

  • Revolutionary and permissionless asset transfer, built for the internet.
  • Join a trustless, distributed network with no reliance on central authorities.
  • Freedom from banks and governments.  Take control with Bitcoin.

I'm still not 100% sure on this part yet, but it might be best to not implicitly call it "money", since it narrows the scope.  "Asset transfer" probably isn't as catchy, but it leaves more to the imagination.

For the tagline OP mentioned, obviously the first one is directing straightly to the essence of bitcoin so I choose it.

But for me, I like to modify it to another one since bitcoin revolution tagline is kinda not appealing to anyone who will use your product for some of the purposes. Since your products are education based, focusing on programming and investing courses what about putting some nearby tags to bitcoin and the service of yours itself and not just as bitcoin on general.

E.g. "Bitcoin, Discover the Technology Behind This Cryptocurrency"

Thats all lame. Its like you are so desperate to make BTC legit in the eyes of the mainstream. Its making it not only corny but also square. It should be cool and catchy. I stick to my slogan, Be a pirate, use BTC.

i've voted for Join The Bitcoin Revolution only because it is the better of the two, but since you are saying what you want this tagline be for is educational based then i guess it is not 100% compatible with what you are using it for.
if i came up with something better i will mention it here but i think you should somehow add learning about it here.

It is not that I am desperate to make Bitcoin looks great and legit. In fact, Bitcoin itself is a great and legit cryptocurrency. Not all of the people who use Bitcoin uses it for dark market - I am assuming you mean this, correct me if I am wrong - some companies uses Bitcoin as a form of investment.

To add on, my suggestions is dedicated for "education", "programming" and "investing".

Yup, indeed not all or some could use the bitcoin as a form of illegal transactions. For now there are some technology or a very intelligent person could keep track of who the owner and user of bitcoin misconstrued a wallet they track, and the good news they could recognize or get the complete data of the holder and the owner of that account. So if in the future there is a problem then they can be employed to help any thing suspicious or harm any person. Investment and programming is very needed in the bitcoin. For if it could materialize then the growth of the bitcoin would be great and famous

Building Cashless Decentralised future. Say goodbye to Paper money. May the Bitcoins be with you. Embrace the Future currency. A for authentic,  B for Bitcoin, C for cashless, Dec for decentralised the new financial literature. Mint a Bitcoin to retire rich. Earn in pennies or earn in Bitcoin choice is yours. Bitcoin the change is here. This all I could think for now, but make sure you focus on cashless, decentralised words. Try to make it easier, and avoid jargons. Best of luck.

I prefer "Join the Bitcoin revolution."
I understand some peoples aversion to the "revolution" tagline, since it may sound like we are trying to overthrow banks or the government,
but maybe that was the original idea of Satoshi Nakomoto, anyways.

It's very difficult to find a good tagline. Something like the catchy as someone above told about blockchain's.info motto "be your own bank" and a word more relax than "revolution" something which brings hope. Revolution imo brings in people's mind violence, rebellion, bloody, riot, guerilla activity and so on.

"Build the Internet of Money" isn't really specific to anything, doesn't specify anything it's relating to, and, to be honest, would more than likely be scoffed at by most people. There is already a ton of digital commerce that occurs and a lot of money flows back and forth online, it's not like there's anything to be built.

Personally I don't like either tagline, but "Join the Bitcoin revolution" is probably the best of the two.

Neither. I feel as though neither one really embodies what Bitcoin is. I personally think they're too generic
and it doesn't catch one's interest or curiosity.

I'd go with LoyceV's suggestion, "The Future of Money". I like how it sounds and since Bitcoin is the future of money, it's really aptly put.
Short and eye-catching, it also leaves quite a good/positive impression.

The best tagline is join the bitcoin revolution, this says a lot about bitcoin and also explains how bitcoin is going to be the revolutionary way of payment and how it will be used by everyone in the future, and tells the fact the you should invest in bitcoin because it is a very profitable.

I hope this will include everything you need as a tagline for your proposal.

I think the best tag line is join the bitcoin revolution because it has a lot of meaning in it it show how much bitcoin has revolutionized the way we use money on the internet and how much it has made an impact in the world and i think that the word join means a lot , so join now so that you don't regret not to when the time comes for the bitcoin to rise.
