It uses both multi signature and HD and you have control over your private keys, just like electrum and If it happens and you lose access to the account details , It's possible to recover it using the mnemonic passphrase that was first given to you when you made the wallet , 2FA options are vast , you can actually enable them all or only one of them : Google Authenticator , email , SMS or phone and It's possible to add your PGP public key too.
Title: Re: GreenAddress Post by: bL4nkcode on December 22, 2016, 02:40:48 AM MadGamer is right greenaddress wallet has the feature to have an access your private keys which is the best part to secure your coins though I'm not using this wallet service but I didn't hear bad comments about this wallet, its up to you if you want to use this wallet but its the same as blockchain.info as web wallets, the server can be down anytime and you can't access your coins there but because you can access your private keys it makes more secure than other web wallet services.
