Hi,

I'm trying to mine Eth following this guide:
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/guides/how-to-mine-ethereum/

But I'm stucked at this point:
"Press enter and the screen should start downloading the blockchain for Ethereum - at this point you are synchronising with the rest of the Ethereum network. This can take a while depending on your internet speed and the current size of the blockchain, anywhere between 20 min and multiple hours."

The cmd has been importing blocks for 20 hours now, when is it meant to finish? Does it give you any message? Can I start mining? The guide says to don't mine until it's synchronized

i suggest you can use minergate, i use it very easily

Those steps aren't correct, its for solo mining which you cant do.

You need to use a pool instead.

Minergate or nicehash.
Check those out.

getpimp.org we are in the process of making new guides and with vids so it will be that much more easy.

This is what you should do. Go to Mining (Altcoins) section and find latest version of Claymore's Dual miner. Download it, claymore explained what you should do in his thread, but if you are complete newbie watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejxIAThTLis) on youtube.

The Geneisis miner is also working.
