Title: Uh, you might want to start buying some Litecoins...
Post by: dballing on December 22, 2016, 04:42:48 AM
Turns out convincing a billionaire to back LTC wasn’t as hard as I thought. If I were you I would start buying some Litecoins… :)

Still I'm not convinced with those pictures and without caption I don't know what it is all about, I can also put that "its not hard to convince a millionaire to get back to zcash." And who is that billionaire referring to mate?

There is no clear caption. I believe if they won't try to mine Zec anymore.
About LTC it seems very promising now.
But SegWit wasn't making sense for that.  ::) The hurry hype about SegWit of LTC.  :D

LTC has seen quite a bit of investment recently if you haven't noticed. It has a lot of room for growth right now. I think its going to scrape bottom soon and then we will see 0.01 or more per LTC again in 2017. I look forward to it.

So the billionnaire (a guy that has a portfolio of at least 1 000 000 000$) is the guy with the cap on the chair ? Also, for a bilionnaire buying so few ASICs is not a big deal. No offense to you, but I don't understand what is the link between the pictures and what you've been saying.

I guess he is just trolling around and for sure he is going to mine some litecoins very soon.

Maybe he is the billionaire who op has been referring and the guy that has been censored with the troll face basically his secretary. If this is for real then I am going to get back to litecoins now for I've already dumped most of it.

billionaires probably don't do the unpacking at setting up... if there was a big backer he was probably at the beach or in bed whilst the help was welding and lifting asics around.

is that room for mining litecoin or what coin? because i see in the picture, the room is so wide and it could have many hardware to mining beside that i wonder how much money they invest to make that room. if i can buy five hardware then i think i can mining in my home too and i can make my good profit with easy like other people.

It would be interesting to have some pics once they finish the building, as of now, the infrastructure is not suitable to start mining, and maybe they are buying miners by lot, instead of buying 100 at ones, then they buy by 10 or 20, it is easyer for the manufacturer to handle, and as they still have a lot of work to prepare the rooms for the miners, then they still have a lot of time to buy the miners.
These rooms are not clean, so, you can't mine efficiently.

I dont know what coin to be mined on this farm and i could say it would be a lots of miners since the space is too wide.Theres no any caption on which coin would be mined on their thats why i cant comment anything because pictures shows only a potential mining farm isnt finished.

um... might be the thing I would do if I were a millionnaire. I mean, you have the adoption and the price is abysmal.

satoshi said: Buy it when it's cheap, mine it when it's expensive.

so I assume this guy is getting ready for an obvious thing.

What kind of miners are these? I was able to count 50 of them. :)

You are right, but not only, it looks like that other cartons are bigger then the innosilicon ones, regarding the amount, it can surely hold more then 50 miners, just look at the fans, they are so huge, these 50 miners are only the first delivery, they will get more. Now i don't think this guy is a billionaire, because he would have done these in an other way, or maybe he is just testing ...

So 280MH x 50 = 14 GH. That's like ~101 LTC/day, which equals to ~$380 at current prices. Geez... things had changed a lot. Back in 2014 I was able to mine somewhere between $800 and $1200 worth of coins/day with my 7 x 60 MH A2's. :D

I have no idea if this is all about litecoin because there is no proof that the set up is all about mining litecoin,it will be convincing if we are dealing with videos with a guy talking about his works and mentioning litecoin this pictures do not proof anything.

It should be an LTC farm if the miners are indeed A4's, but I can imagine what you were able to do with these if you mine with them back in early 2014. :) I bought my miners at about 6,600 euro/piece, so back then these would cost at least 20k euro. You can make ROI in 2 months tops (if we assume total cost is 1,2 million euro (miners + other stuff)).

dballing has been on various litecoin forums for years. Definitely legit operation he's building. A lot of cash has been going into LTC infrastructure in the past four months explaining the 25 percent increase in hashrate.

ok, i saw a picture of someone welding and some boxes, now i am rushing to my exchange to sign in and poor my money into litecoin.

as if i don't know litecoin is going down right now and the so called "billionaires" are those Chinese people who have always been pumping litecoin and they seem to be holding off at the moment because they are actively engaged with bitcoin.

Is there something in litecoin that will make us buy instead of bitcoin when it's pretty obvious there's an ongoing Bitcoin pump in the market,Litecoin is good but not really better than they used to be 2 or three years ago.

I am almost 100% sure that Litecoin price will start going up (Q1/2017).

Posted all over exchange trollbox as well, what's your endgame here mister?

& Why can't we see what's in those boxes?  You know the internet loves unboxing pictures more than anything else...

...and I already have some litecoin :)

There's a couple A4's unboxed in one of the pictures.  I have a feeling these are all A4's and those bigger boxes are the bundles of psu's.

If you were a billionaire you could start your own coin and make a lot more money.

Don't have to be a billionaire to do that...all you need is a PC or 2 and some time to spare. Billionaires would probably be better off going down the mining route, multiple reasons why ;)

Yes this is just another attempt to hype a stagnating cryptocoin like LTC. Do you think a rational investor or trader will buy litecoin now just because someone in the forum told us to? Look at the price of bitcoin and litecoin, the wiser choice is to hold all your bitcoin now. Litecoin's price is falling against bitcoin's price and it will not go up unless bitcoin is falling.

actually ltc for now is good to buy because its in the bottom but i am afraid that the price will go to under again. but if there is a way i can see that the price is going to go up, then i might be buying ltc to increase my stock as i have litecoin for free  ;D and i am ready to waiting for the increasing of the litecoin price.

A little info would be good.
Why choose LTC over Bitcoin or any other currency? Is the ROI on the gear that much sooner?
Would love to hear some reasoning. Seems like unless you have some really great plan or inside information about Litecoin,
there might be more profitable coins to mine if you are able to get a backer to make a big investment.

Yes, it is hard to believe because anyone can just simply do anything with the caption or probably that site is not going to be used for mining litecoins or any investment that is related to litecoin. It looks like something that is going to be an office of logistics or I don't know. Well even with this, I will still invest and hold LTC.

No i won't buying litecoin at least for now, there are some reasons for me not buy litecoin.
1. Litecoin is expensive than other altcoins, still there are many altcoins more cheap than it.
2. I must use much capital for trading altcoins in litecoin to bitcoins.
3. I am not colector coin, i am trader altcoins whom looking for the coins can give profit with small capital.  ;D

That's a pretty bad argument. Only the price in bitcoins matters because however, you could have simply kept the bitcoins and you would be richer in fiat now. That's I big mistake many traders do I think. You shouldn't care about fiat, that's useless and that will lead you to bad decisions based from a flawed point of view.

I read they are launching a litecoin foundation,to fully support litecoin development and support also read about the price of litecoin going up this year, this is a good development after all these years they are lagging behind, only the chinese supporters are what keeps them on the top 10.
