We can see the price now, $1000 is on the way.

That i was thinking too since the price move to fast and $100 in just 2 days which is really amazing and i dont know what the reason behind this maybe because of holiday season or no matter what and till now its clinging to $1000 price per bitcoin which i would be really glad also to all bitcoin users because it will give us sure profits on this movement.

At the moment I’m writing this bitcoin is trading at 897 dollars per bitcoin I though we will not see 1k at the end of the next year, but there is the possibility of reaching that price before this years ends.

Before this year end it is possible but next year it will be not because many of BTC holders will cash out their funds. And it will cause the supply growth which will cause the lower of the price of the bitcoin

If the price continous to behave like the recent pump happen then it will be possible even as we speak.

But it's not that easy to breached since bears are waiting for small dip in able to take advantage of low price before going straight to $1000. Just hope that no big hoarders will spoiled the rally since once they sold off even at $30 margin , they can simply trigger a bearish activity. The good thing here is we are truly seeing how strong the resistance is at above $800.

it depends on when you are expecting the $1000 price. it is possible and it have already happened once but if you are expecting it in a very short time then I doubt it can happen but eventually someday it will happen. and we are actually already on the way there. price has been rising pretty good with a nice buy support for about two years and it has not yet stopped. and I don't see any reason for this upward movement in long term to change.

This could be predicted due to surge in markets during new years times, it means people are buying into it maybe they have finally realized that bitcoin is the future currency of people and not governments.

Ya it is true that past last 7 days we have seen bitcoin moving from 730 to 930$ very fast and their are so many reason that are genuine but my fear is that all of them are just waiting for $1000 price so that they can dump their purchased bitcoin so everyone should be caution as their we can see a heavy dump in bitcoin.

I can sense the pressure from miners and pumpers to push it to $1000 just before New Year, if only because of the symbolism and perhaps a bit of Christmas commercial value. It will only be temporary though as artificial pumps go... but the ensuing slump will be just as temporary when btc resumes its slow climb to old heights.

I was thinking that price may get stucked on $900 due to high resistance but quite surprised to see it is still flying. $1000 seem reachable within next few days but price may remain between $900 to $950 range for few days or weeks before jumping over $1000. We may see new ATH price on 2017..  ;D

yes it could be really possible as we can see to its current price, and it seems bitcoin will probably hit the $1000 price value by the end of the 2016 . and i think we are all  hoping for it to happen, the price keeps on increasing and I never expected that bitcoin will suddenly hit $900 because the last time I checked the price before that it was only around $800-$820 dollars .

Yes its nearly $1000. I cant believe that the price of bitcoins for now is higher than of my prediction I'm expecting in 2017 will be $900 but i hope it would not be like in past december to january 2015

Bitcoin price really amazed me! Last night it was just around 850 dollars above and now it boosted to 903 dollars already. I am now confident that we can reach the 1000 dollars before Christmas day if not before this year end, a few steps on the way.

Yeah we can see at many exchangers in some countries, volume bitcoin which trade is rise up day by day. It means peoples trust in trading bitcoin is just like another forex trading. And it's good for bitcoin development.

It could get to 1000, but it's not sustainable. It's gone up too much too fast for it to last.

It seems that it's rapidly going towards 1000$. I'm not sure whether this is good or bad. I mean what if it crushes suddenly. I thought that price will be round 850$ for Christmas but this now is beyond my expectations. We will see what is the highest peak the price will reach this time.

I am also having the same worry and i think this christmas we will see the $1000 price but immediately we will see the selling pressure as their are so many traders who are just waiting for this sentimental figure to see and then sell off their load of bitcoins and wait for the price to crash and reenter. Yes, we are on the way to $1000, but I hope that bitcoin would slow down and stay at below $1000 for a while, atleast a week or more so it could strengthen its ground, by that when we enter the $1000 we are stronger and the support is thick already, it won't fall sharp when it slow down, remember, it won't  always a bull run...

Hoarders might release what they hold by the end of the holiday so better make its feet stronger first than expecting it to climb fast ...   :)

I already predicted this, that bitcoin's price might hit $1000 by the end of this year in one of the thread here a couple of weeks ago that was titled with something like 'bitcoin's price will go up to $10k' but I got laughed at by other users, telling me it was impossible to hit it because they thought the price back then was too far (around $750) to reach $1000 mark with less than a month then now this happens. Sweet!

This is a given now. It has passed $900 already but has dipped down again but this is typical of healthy progress. It is heading in this direction so it won't be long. Hopefully by the New Years if not before. Then look towards the ATH of $1200 being possible after that.

It does need to be hardened so in doing it, it will make it stay this way and not drop all the sudden and decrease any confidence in it's surprising progress.

I don't think artificial pumping has a thing to do with the surge in price, in the cryptocurrency world, it has been proven there is only bitcoin and the rest. Across the exchanges you can see prices of all other coins are headed south, while bitcoin faces the true north as the pioneer and revolutionary coin.

People across the globe can't help but buy into the money of the future, no thanks to the high inflationary rates burden the fiat currencies have saddled people with already and thank goodness for the respite and safe haven that bitcoin is. As I write, am looking at $902.41 to a bitcoin at CoinDesk, $1000 per BTC is a psychological level, that has been on the lips of many cryptographers, so it is already too late for market price not to get there any moment from now.

I don't think we are going to see that price that soon at some point the the spectacular bullish streak we had is going to end, I do not know why there was such a surge in the price but it is going to subside.

Yeah right, who are doing trade bitcoin better to withstand some more time. The price increase will continue to happen so do not rush to sell. But if you've felt dissatisfied with rising prices, maybe not problem to sell. But I think the price rise will reach $ 1,000, continue to monitor prices.

I never expected to see such a sudden increase in price before 2016. I was expecting bitcoin to move up in Jan 2017. I thought people would be in festive mood and will not look to add bitcoin. But I think demonetization move in India, Venezuela, Pakistan and Australia should have freaked out people.

I think the $1000 price mark is now sure to happen, but massive profit taking would see to it that, $1000 per mark doesn't linger. Subsequently, renewed pressure might see the market testing the level over and over again, giving the huge demand for bitcoin from many corners these days.

But if you're talking about $1000 USD, that's a totally different story. I don't think we'll hit $1000 by the end of the year, or at least be $1000 stable. Early next year will be the time.

Yes, we can meet $900 before the Christmas come, it is the big gift we can receive this coming season and there is now a big possibility to see four digits before the year ends.

Bitcoin is strong enough now, much more then last time when price was around 1000, and this time we will stay high, I hope 500, 600, 700 are behind us.

It's $800+ now so $1000 is really on the way and will happen some time next year. So bitcoins future in 2017 is

looking good and something to look forward. But the price will decrease also sometime next year allowing users to

buy with a low price. This thing happens quite often when bitcoins price keeps increasing and increasing after that

it will decrease its price and will return to a more stable price.

The strong sustaining price levels are not signalling about any possible fall down from this $900 levels. Hopefully we are moving towards ATH prices before 2017. Unfortunately bitcoin fall short of $85 in this Christmas for the speculated levels of $1000. But it's all happen in trading and we can expect the same by this New Year.

There's no impossible if it touch $1000 at the end of this year. Stable? I'm not sure, people who buy recently, mostly have habit to make sell wall, and because the chrismast time ends, new years holiday end.

You can, but not for the end of the December, early January it will possible for all to see it. the pump was being weakness right now, and it's dropping again and seems like we won't see it touch $1000 in short time.

i think the $1000 is almost reach in the end of the december and maybe in after 5th december. to reach $1000 is hard to do even if the market is fluctuation for the movement, but in 2017 is really possible and not in the end of 2016 because for now, the price is at $860 and its below than $900 so its need time to reach up to $900.

Well seems little away now for 1000$ since the rate has now dropped below 900 and @ 870$ per btc.

So this seems that it will be below 900$ for a while and may be for new year it will be below 900$ for the new year as well. Let us see if can reach 1000$ in January or fall back to 800$

If the price dip will go lower it will create a panic selling scenario since the other holders or investors will decide to secure their profits and start selling most of their bitcoins but if it goes up again it will create a solid foundation for the incoming new year and it might make the bitcoin to be stable on $900 and soon touch the $1000 ;D.

I think the ones that are likely to share your point of view are in the minority, because the true way up, is usually down! I thought it will not reach the $1000 I've followed and read experts prediction and all of them predicts a jum from $1000 to $2000 this year but we only have a week before 2017 and so i doubt if it will reach the $1000,it's fine with me as long as it will not go down to $700 again..

For my own prediction i think the price of bitcoin will not touch into $1000 value and there is still possible that the price will go back to 700 value... this coming weeks or this coming january.. this is what i thought and prediction and i am just relaying in the last year there is similar movement of the price..

Bitcoin price will not reach $1.000 by end of 2016. Price will find support below $900 now.
I think the most important will be forst weeks in 2017 and we will see how price will go then.

I am also thinking that the current dip in price is some kind of correction.  The price really incline too fast, due to either manipulation or normal demands, a correction is expected.  But if this is some kind of manipulation by whales, this dip means they are accumulating cheaper Bitcoin before the next push.  And i don't think the push will happen anytime soon, maybe next year.  So we can see a $1000 BTC probably next year.

Hmm, I'm not sure that in the next year we can see the bitcoin is at a value of $1000. for if I see from all the things that exist in it, all its growth well above the price you mentioned. So I believe the price will be far above the bitcoin $1500, as I see the growth right now is better than it used to be, so it is unlikely the price figures are at only bitcoin $1000.Will be very lucky for those who benefit when using bitcoin and buy bitcoin when cheaper price now

Right, if you see correction is on the way as price ystd fall back to almost 870$ and though it has bounced back to 900 at current level. Buy making 900 $ a benchmark and if could sustain for couple of days at this level then 1000$ in year is on cards or else 800$ is on the way for new year.

I remember this shit from last time around, in late 2013 i think CoinDesk polled their users with what they thought the price would be. Suffice to say, it didn't live up to the hype.

Hopefully this time around these predications will be better.

This is another type of hype which they want other bitcoin users to hold their coins because they also want that 1000$ price for each bitcoin and after the price reach that they will earn a lot of money. I also hope that kind of price will be approachable before the year ends so the new year will be prosperous for us.

It is true that making people hold their bitcoin, helped getting the price to get high ,and that what created a big demand on it but this demand will eventually were off, investors will lose their interest in bitcoin if it gets really high and then the price will go down and people will start selling it and it will make the price go down even more.

Now it seems more likely that we will hit $1000 sometime next year. I think we will have some drops in price as a correction but We are so close that it is still within reach.

It's swinging back and forth,I'm so happy it hit $1000 a few days ago but it drip back to $970 again only a day before newyear and there's only a slim chance that it will get back to $1000 again..
I'm hoping that 2017 is another banner year for Bitcoin and it will be traded to $200 up.

I also think so that Bitcoin will touch $1000 in next year but next year is not so far just one day left for new year but I think Bitcoin will touch level of $1000 in April or May 2017.

we will reach $1000 in next year but not in the new year because the price now getting down and i don't think that the price will reach $1000 in one last day in 2016 but we can not predict the people act in the market so better we see it by ourself and getting ready is a good solution for the new price of bitcoin.

What holding bitcoin does , is that as so many people settle to hold instead of selling their coins, the overall market supply would not so much exceed the demand and so the price most likely would not fall. However, if there are panic selloff or many people taking profit, the bitcoin supply eventually would exceed the demand for it and Economics 101 simply dictate a fall in price is soon to follow.

I think the bitcoin will hit 1,000$ within next 48 hours.

You are thinking big, 1500$ this month is too much, a increasing of 50% in one month. If it will really happen, the price will drop too much at the same speed. I think the price will drop soon, reaching to maximum 1100$ and droping next.

We finally passed it. Bitcoin is finally over a thousand dollars again. It's a good way to start the year, I believe the holders were waiting a long time for that to happen. Those who were patient were certainly rewarded, and it's probably just the beginning...

   1002 $ right now! New topics about reaching 1k finally are just popping up on the forum, people are very excited, this is what we have been waiting for. The ones who have patience are always rewarded in the end, and all bitcoin workers are now a little richer (and some much more then little).
   I see people already have next target, my recommendations are to stay patience, that will eventually come, let's hold this for a while first.

I assume you meant to say correction, right?  :D It makes sense that after the price has gone up quite a bit that we will see some sort of a correction. I thought it would be the case when we would reach $800, $900 and now $1000. So far at none of these levels a serious correction has gone through the market. That why the coming days will turn out to be important. Maintaining $1000 is not a joke.

I once think like that. Well, it's too good to be true but it's happening now and still raising up to the price that I am never predict for the short time. Just for 1 month the price is going crazy.

I am not rejoicing as I had hoped earlier for the price to stay below 1k so I can buy a bitcoin with income I expect in March but in fact if it stabilises for a while at 1k I would still be happy to enter at this price.

Most people are waiting for the lowest price as possible but as we saw on the price of bitcoin now its not low anymore but considering the movement and momentum on bitcoins price we would definitely say that this price would be the lowest price as possible and good time to enter.This is the hardest part on which making up decision if you want to take the risk or not.

1000$ on my thoughts before end of this year, it will surely increase bitcoin more than that 1000$ it can  be 1200$-1500$, so much better for us to buy more bitcoina and hold it patiently and wait for the right time.

Right now bitcoin prices are trading above $800+ price levels, hopefully within today it might break $900 levels so $1000 will be possible again within this week itself.
I checked many crypto currency news resources, but could not find the any significant reason for this rally. As per the price movements are showing sustaining nature, probably we are having very strong market toward higher price levels.

1000$ is on the way again this or it might gonna be goes to 1500$ it depends on the community or the investors of how they're gonna push it through in the high peak price value of bitcoin. And I do believe the value of btc will not go down below 800$ whithin the whole 2017.

$1.1k price is reachable again or possible but $1500 seems impossible in a short period of time.Lucky for those people who bought bitcoin on $740 price because they are making profits now when the price tends to rise up again and i hope it will continue even more but theres no sure if this is a rally or just a fake out.

I'm surprise the price recovered quickly after the PBOC incidence, though not as bad as it was initially reported. I read somewhere that the recent price rally is due to the incoming Trump inauguration tomorrow, if the price sustain the gain, then I think we are in for another $1000+

The community here doesn't even make a dent in the price. It all depends on how the demand will pick up in the coming months. I think at this point we're far from ruling out the price to dive below the $800 level again. If you see how easy people take fud for granted where they sell their coins in panic, then even sub $700 isn't safe. That's why I wouldn't focus too much on the thought of the price not going below $800 again this year. Why? Because it will happen.

What is helping the price of Bitcoin now is the increase in demand from new market especially India,  Venezuela and Some African countries. If Bitcoin continues to make inward route to these countries the price will continue to increase, we are in for a great ride this year

There is no doubt about bitcoin has many chances that it will reaches to 1000$ with out any problem, 1000$ is not difficult to reach it because bitcoin has huge potential where it can easily reach to 2000$ also but it will take some time for it.

Yes I am also speculating $1000 is on the way toward the journey of $2000 price level. But there are a few factors like regulations in China are making hurdle to bitcoin's current rally. Hopefully we will be having bitcoin prices again above $1000 within this month itself. Then $2000 will be easily possible by first quarter of 2017.

You know this thread since when bitcoin was under $1000, So that's why he was asking that bitcoin will be come at $1000, but now we have seen bitcoin also come cross more than $1000, even the last figure which i know about bitcoin price was $1030. But now bitcoin has been started to come back and again going to up, now bitcoin is here $890, and i don't think that bitcoin would be come again $1000 very soon.

It would really come since we are going up again on the price of bitcoin is slow climbing from the previous decreasing price.Yes this thread is created when bitcoins price is still low and didnt even touch $1k price but it does really reach and even goes beyond it bad sadly the price corrected and decreased again.

we need more another countries to join the bitcoin community and when the demand of bitcoin increases, certainnly  The price will keep on rising up higher. besides that the more people buy and hold bitcoins the higher price is rising up . That's it.

Yes, we are again experiencing bitcoin price rising back to 900+ after a few days of dump and hopefully we shall reach 1000$ again soon. What i feel that by the end of this year we can go beyond 2500$ or even more.  People now beginning to believe that bitcoin can remain stable above 1000$ and this is really great for all of us holding the coins.

 2017 is really a good year for bitcoin. We started more than 1000 in first week of January but slowly going back to $800+. Now, it is almost $900 dollars again and it continues to increased.I think this is a stable price already for bitcoin and any moment, it will goes up.

Yes, though we experienced a very fast moving like value, now it is getting stable at the moment it is now growing steadily and smoothly which is good enough for us, for we can reach more than what we expect if it continues growing up starting this January.

I agree to the fact that bitcoins crossed $1000,
But soon after that the prices dropped drastically ,
But now the prices have increased again , and this time it might even cross $1200 or $1500 even.
But that might not be quite easy.
But i can assure you guys that by the end of this year.

That means we are going again to $1,000. I would be surprise if we will not gonna hit that amount this month. At the rate of the price is going, I believe we can end this month with a very nice price. If this will continue, then probably we will going to double the price at $2,000 this year alone.

That was just my conservative estimate because we know how surprising bitcoin is, it can go more than that but I have to pay safe with my speculation.

I dont think so that chinese new year event would definitely affect bitcoins price and as we saw on trumps event theres no such impact on the price of bitcoin which i assume that it would happen the same thing too on the things that you are suspecting already.$1000 would be possible this year though.

Seriously, how big would be the affect of Chinese New Year? I know they have superstitious belief but I don't see whatever they do would affect the price of bitcoin in a negative way, I think when they are happy it will reflect to the value of bitcoin. I heard they have the biggest volume but the movement of price could only depend on their economic status. Just my opinion, please enlighten me if I miss something.

many people from china might be withdraw their bitcoin and we know that traders from china have much of bitcoin depend other traders so i think maybe there is a down trend for a moment before it will increase back.  but lets we wait for that day and we hope that bitcoin price is not getting down too far.

Its almost hit the target, right the value was almost 1000$/per bitcoin in the market. Its too high for, but good again to those who saved and keep bitcoin before it became 1000$, they can sell it now if they like. too bad for me because its only small amount of bitcoin that I saved only,.

I think bitcoin will reach new levels in this year but at the same time, we would also see price fluctuations on the chart. Bitcoin price might touch levels of $700 on a lower side and up to $1,300 on the higher side. We would see sustainable growth in the price as well as in the user base from last quarter of this year and we would cross $2,000 till we reach 2020. IMO.

Now from 1000$ is on the way go now to 2000$ per bitcoin, this is sounds great, let us keep on hold our bitcoin just be patience of waiting. the price value now is coming from 1100$, and investors are more adopting the concept and features too. Just hold on tight for the price increase.

Hopefully by the end of the year price of bitcoin will be at 2000$... Many great news about bitcoin like japan will be legal for bitcoin payment... As webot says that price will go up to 1400$ this end of february... will it happen? Maybee or maybee not... So im holding btc and hopefully to earn more...

Yeah, lets cheers to that. I know many of the community here maybe they are thinking bitcoin will go down at 900$ or below, for me in their dreams it will happen. But the truth what is going to be happen this mid year bitcoin would be 2000$, people who do not buy bitcoin not it will surely will regret at the last.

Peoples react to $1000 for 1 BTC with happily and hope for more or high price like $2000. Let's be realistic, $1000 is good enough for bitcoin price and that is enough to spread the world about how good is progress of this digital commodity.
All we need is fluctuations, not the high stable price.

They will surely react now on the current event on bitcoins price on which as i speak it again crashes and we are now going down again current price $967 which is a significant drop from $1060 in previous hours and just as expected that this thing will happen again.

although it is right that there is such a big fluctuation in the price of bitcoin because just in few hours there is about 120 USD down fall in the price of bitcoin and now again trading in 980 USD level but i think it is very early to predict the price of bitcoin for 2020. but still i am sure that in 2020 bitcoin will be trading above 3000 USD level and its price will still be increasing.

Even if it’s too early to predict something in 2020, we can consider the growth factor so far and the current popularity of the bitcoin to predict it and according to these factors, I think the lowest price mark would be $2,000. It really is. i think this is a good year for bitcoin because of the increase in value since new year, we can see that many invested in bitcoin and earn as well. i believe that it will continue to show us a nice price.

I do not find any big difficulties for bitcoin prices to reach $1500 or $2000 levels very soon as there are many positive news are coming like major start up on bitcoin mining and bitcoin ETF is awaiting government nod hence $1000 will hold and rest of thing will happen automatically. Basically bitcoin is on the way to million dollar price levels.

$1100 is on the way and with the stable rate which is going on now will definitely brighten the future of Bitcoin universe. Fluctuations make the market unpredictable which is not good for new people. We can see that the market is now stable and gradually increasing, that is a positive sign.

Actually, you are doing right as of the moment. Continue buying bitcoins now and hold it until you hit your goal in the value of BTC. And will it be happen? if you remember a couple of weeks back, price was rising with a very string buy support and it was a good trend shaping up but some circumstances with China accompanied by whales wanting to accumulate more and then the FUD about China caused the price to stop upward movement and stay at this point.
currently the price of bitcoin is unpredictable at short term but in long term it is mostly obvious that it will have a big rise, it just needs a small nudge to explode to the moon.

Just as expected bitcoins price will surely go to the top but same as you said its really unpredictable and news regarding to bitcoin events are still there always thats why bitcoin do have normal price decrease which is not really surprising anymore.

Yes, it is completely stable state from 990 to 1009$. Really we can hope that there is big movement in bitcoin after it touches 1300$, it is all time high in bitcoin history. But very soon it is going cross the figures of 1300$ mark without any problems and if it keep going like this.

I guess bitcoin prices are looking for any type of positive news to gain strength to break the resistances lying around all time high prices. The range bounding prices are always good, and we can expect at any time it will break into upper side.

In my speculations, bitcoin prices are heading toward $2000 levels, that may happen at any time because once bitcoin breaks the resistances at $1300 then it may stop around $2000 levels only. Yes, it is the next big physiological resistances.

That's right, the movement of the price value of bitcoin is very expecting to be happen. But the good thing is whether the value fluctuate it never happens that bitcoin down below 900$ which is proven Bitcoin was already step forward in the next level price of BTC. This recent hype and megapump to 1100$ makes me buy bitcoins again. And from my experiences i can tell that we may be in a bubble again.  :D Its stuck at 950-1050$ range for a while and cant go neither way. It tried 2 times to go down but there were many supporters so it failed. When it (the price) tries the other way, and then there is a huge sell wall waiting. Forex people know this situation well. If it gets stuck in one point for too long, it will blow up in one direction. (i mean it, it will blow up like a tnt!)

It happened before this recent pump (400>1000$) It stood at 400$'s for days and people got bored. Then it first reached to 600 and then 900, then another 700's, and 1000!

We may see another dump fest back to 800's but then it will definitely crush that 1100 wall.

I guess this will happen on the march, The SEC will try to call the bitcoin delegation to discussing about the approval of bitcoin ETF in America and it means if it will get approve by SEC and a lot of the investors will try to join on the bitcoin.
