Hi,

what ICOs are you waiting for? Is there anything worth investing?

don't risk your money with ICOs you are better of gambling your money and have a bigger chance of making profit than making anything from ICOs these days, they are all turning into scams and failed projects one after another.

How many the definite percent to getting our money back? Thus ICO, the both are same, it is no different than it. At least some fail ico was returning his investor's money back.  :D

Still some on going projects are looking trustworthy with valid escrow system. Like Chronobank and Darrcrus are looking promising there is chance to make some profit.

I dont know where you get your ICOs, but for me everyone I invested in brought me profit. Some more then the others. None of them delivered finished product yet. So all still have lots space to grow.   There is possibility that this was the case, because 2016 was such good year for crypto, so I cant say what will happen in 2017.

ICOs I invested were

Spells of Genessis
ICONOMI
Beyond the Void
AUGMENTORS

Well for the last one ICO officially had not started yet, i  invested in pre ICO :P

Thing is when this ICOs will deliver product for which founds were collected will be worth way more then was collected.

I would be very careful of any ICO in the coming year or two.
Crypto is the hot new thing, the way to make a quick buck for developers.
We are going to see a ton of projects launch, dump their coins onto exchanges and disappear in 2017. Even more so than the last few years.

There might be one or two projects worth investing in, but I predict 99/100 will fail hard.

I don't think it is wise not to invest in just any how project for now, the recent ICOs has proven that is possible to get a better deal when the tokens get listed on exchanges, the Bitcoin rally to is not helping those projects.

Yes I am frustrated that I missed the Komodo ICO.  But can get about the same rate per $ of BTC right now if you buy BTCD (Bitcoin Dark) and then swap those for KMD in a few weeks at the rate of 50 KMD per BTC.   That gives you more KMD than you would have gotten at the end of the ICO, but not more than the beginning when there was a 35% bonus.

But more on Komodo here:

Mostly this forum. There are also websites that list crypto ICOs. I think at least one of them was mentioned in this thread.  If would have more money I am sure could find 10 or more good protects maybe more. Basically all i looked at brought profit and some point. With crypto is such that price can change 100% in only one month so if you look at beginning of month can bring profit and at end of month bring loss.  So is also important when you decide to cash out your investment. You need good strategy for that also. Not just strategy for picking where to invest.

10 day after listing pesobit price 10k satoshi, in ico selling only 300k satoshi, so only under 2month include ico selling can take profit 300x

I think that Chronobank is going to be a good ICO to come and it seems that they have collected thousands of bitcoins already. That is making them now promising and becoming stronger it is just now going to depend on how their dev team is going to make their project seriously.

When I saw the Pesobit story it was one of the miss of 2016, concerning WIngs I believe the project is undervalue and will be a great hit when it hit exchanges. My concern about Chronobank is the price of each token 0.01BTC per time is quite high for me because I always look for project with great room for growth. Dacrus project is another one you can't overlook, the ICO price at the moment is still low 4000sat per token and the developer has already secure customers for the project and the ICO ends in 2 days time

Hi,

don't risk your money with ICOs you are better of gambling your money and have a bigger chance of making profit than making anything from ICOs these days, they are all turning into scams and failed projects one after another.

Can you give us your gambling statistics to support your statement that a person have a bigger chance of making profit in it?  If you visit the gambling thread, people in there keep posting, it is made you lose in the long run.  Now I wonder, if ever you make profit in gambling, what is your strategy?

As for me I think Wing DAO or Chronobank is a good choice.  I was also looking at CGC but the way the owner show his character in public dealing with his signature campaign manager turns me off.

Some new members here (newbies) does recommend their own coin or just a part of coin shills out there. The first and last ICO did I put my money on is on ICN because I already saw that this coin have a potential and after that I don't have any plans on investing on other coin because of scam events which are already happening on ICO's and I don't really like to waste of my money into an unsure project.I cant see any goid coins as of now.

Now a days every dev is launching their coin with ICO's, but most of the people are looking for ico only because at early stage the value of the coin price is very less and when it enters into market definitely there will be increase in the price. Yes it is good to invest but don't know how the dev's will handle after selling the coin. Better choose which has major popularity in the market and buy low value coins and sell them at higher price.

For me ICOs is woth to invest but you need to choose wisely and you should know how to wait because earning in ICOs is not to easy after investing waiting only to have exchanger then convert this is not good because you cant earn good profit here. For me in ICOs investing is long term of investment so you need to wait to have big profit.

May I ask why one would not wait to buy until after market when lower prices are a guarantee almost a guarantee? I am truly, truly trying to understand, as a social scientist, what motivates individuals to put money into something known as an "initial coin investment" (ICO) when the coin can always be bought upon market introduction at a fraction of the cost. Someone had to buy in order to sell? Why are they selling at a loss?

To not loss many bitcoin. And many dont have trust in the coin, and many small whales dump the price so that many dont have trust the coin, sell their coin at low price and the whales wait to pump the price and gained more profit. Many Altcoin now is not succeeding so many didnt trust coin and sell their coin at low price.

Do not participate in the ICO that do not have trusted escrow. Cost of this is not very large, but it is necessary measure to ensure that people do not disappear with your money.

I have never ever invested in ICO. I see it as potential high risk investment which can go wrong very fast.

If you want to invest in ICO you have to make an extensive research about the project:

Idea quality *papers etc.
Website quality
Development team quality *direct social media reach with team members etc.
What company is behind it
History ^team member experience ^company experience

This would be just a basic stuff to check out.

I just realised we have too many crypto coins  looking for investors and the end result is a failed ICO because the fail to meet their initial target or end up as a ponzi coin.
On the other hand I have seen promising altcoins we all ought to invest in  such as (I) chronobank (ii) iconomi (iii) taskie coin (iv) icobid {special case}

There seem to have no good ICO these days besides Chronobank's TIME token. If launched well like how they plan it, the higher chance for investors to profit through them. You'd rather prefer Chronobank than the rest and if you find yourself having some extra btc invest to the coins which already gained popularity in the market.

Looking as Taskie, the concept is like for freelancers still just like TIME token of Chronobank.

Golem is probably the dark horse of 2017 in my opinion.

It currently has very small exchange adoption which is likely to increase as Brass Golem approaches in May. It also has had favourable mentions in publications such as Wired and has a demonstrably competent (and visible) development team.

I don't think it is always advisable to invest in ICOs there are some project out there presently that you can find value if you invest in them like Singularity, Golem, Vdice, Firstblood all are presently below the ICO price except Golem that pumped this week.

Concering ICOs I will go for 1Ex like the team behind the project, Qtum is another solid project to look at

i did invest recently on Golem project which the only reason why i register on liqui. i find it to be a long term investment since i may find the rise of its value when super computer will be released.

That's why it can be a good place to invest our money. Although he wasn't having a lot of publication and like you said, he will be the black horse soon.

Iconomi will be competing with golem. he has a lot of the potentially.

i'm pretty sure about this because they somehow mentioned this back then so i guess GNT success will also be the success of ICN.

My perception is that ICO funds are solely for the ICO, not to be used in funding of other ICO's.
And yes the amount of ICO and scams are growing rapidly, perhaps too.. rapidly.

As far as i know ICN are into investing and managing the funds that is why the investors of ICN entrusted the team to make decision what they can do. They've investee to Eth and GNT as well. They manage to get almost 10% of byteball as well.

In conclusion, all of the things have done by the team are quite successfully. The price of the golem was increasing yesterday and ICN team had over 9% stock of GNT. Which mean the team has held the big part of the golem shares.

I think that it is better to participate in Ico that are collected no more than 5,000 Btc. They are more prone to manipulation, it pleases me because I am interested in the speculative side. Of course do not forget details of the project, which must be beyond reproach and should be some kind of originality.

qtum and pro's concept i think has already existed. every ICO seem to promise mass adoption and it always attract people to invest. invetors still fall for something that isn't new all because China is involved. Hi,

what ICOs are you waiting for? Is there anything worth investing?
Actually no one can say what it is , whether scam or legit way to start profit .
Because I am hearing from long time that ICO are scam only but I found nothing is scam in altcoin ICO because  new altcoin only look to make bug profit by advertising their altcoin .  If any new person will start his altcoin then he will surely will offer to invest or buy his altcoin before launching in this way both of you will get profit .
first if the altcoin goes much famouse then your initial investment will multiply into many
Secondly if you will buy some altcoin before launching  , then you will surely tell to your friend and tell them.to buy in this way the owner will get advertisment and investment ate both for ICO investment .
So here from both side the chances of profit are much , So in my option I can't say it is scam .

ICO is worth investing only if you got into a potential altcoin but we should really be careful on choosing one because most of them are just total scams thats why im very careful to avoid lose of money. Before investing on ICO we should search first its roadmap and the Identity of Devs  which arent hidden at all.

Yes, Of course. Generally , there are many good ICO and bad ICO projects . The problem is that you must choose the right ICO project to get more earnings from that project. I suggest that you should join Chronobank or Komodo project now. I think these projects are working well with big investors joined.

I haven't really formed many positive opinions about ICO but as you can see, I'm promoting QTUM, whose ICO aims to start in March. Like you guys, I do see early signs for success: the early promotion, a tech whitepaper audited by one of the Big 4 (PWC) and what seems to be the trust of ETH advocates based in China. With bases around my region also, perhaps I am partial to supporting something closer to home.

Yeah I don't know why Incent is something to be doubted. I really don't have an idea why it's only with openledger.

Also Chronobank is a good ICO to invest for and I guess they are doing well before their ICO ends on the half of the month.

I'm also into Qtum, it seems to be a good one but I still have doubts with it.

It is not that true as you can see there have being quite a large number of successful ICO's in the past year and none of coins gave a profit to the investors except ICONOMI and i have invested in some of the ICO's and the sad part is that the coins are trading well below the ICO price and it will be a heavy loss if i am trying to off load at this moment.

Solid projects need some time to get off, its not just a pump and dump. Basically we bought the idea and now we wait for the implementation, if we these new projects work properly then you go for 10.000 % return in the future but nothing is guaranteed

Hi,

what ICOs are you waiting for? Is there anything worth investing?

I'm not against with the ico, if you are going to study or learn about it there are many ico's rising up in the crypto currencies that are called shitcoins only,  please excuse me for term but true. but there are some ico that has a promising project that there doing everything to fulfill their actvities during the campaign.

they didn't offer bonuses for early investors so it won't be dumped real hard except those bounties that will be. but it would be too early for them to do that, it would be a pity to see they've waited for months and they just dump after the ico.

lets see the price after.

Agreed.

First of all a disclaimer; I´m a cofounder of the Internet of Coins (https://coinstorm.net) project. (Development thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827804.0), announcement thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1760129))

Secondly, an open question. We are crowdfunding our open-source project next month, and are currently listed by Cyber Fund, ICO Rating, Smith and Crown. (Assessments TBA)

I was wondering if the participants here have any preference for specific agencies to provide research and/or advice. We aim to be transparent towards the community, so if you have suggestions I´d like to handle them seriously as well. After some due diligence of course.

for now the only ico i have invested is the chronobank's time token.
there are number of tokens that held an ICO months ago and after the ICO, those tokens must have been distributed already but the team didn't. it feels like we're all being scammed differently so there's no ICO funding for me this time.

we should probably stop funding these ICO. it should be best to just invest to the tokens that are already released.

Giving out a good bounty does not mean that it is a good team.Only time will tell whether it is a good one or a bad one.Chrono Bank will be successful one in my opinion and it will end tomorrow.

its an insurance platform. there had been few attempts to build one but none of them ever had succeeded, if this one gets through and had succeessfully launched, all are doomed. people entrusting their btc and altcoins to a team' platform? only the fools can be fooled.

chronobank seems to be a solid project.
but with all their advertisement they raised so much money, that there's not much room to grow.
as an investor I like the smaller undervalued ICOs like Warp and Spectre f.e. that give much better returns, at higher risks of course.
Ok warp failed at some point but spectre looks very promising.
but with chronobank f.e. there's a risk to fall below ICO price when people get impatient and want to cut losses.

Good to see a dev asking about trying to be transparent towards the community, my humble suggestion would be to come up with a hang out section with the community and try to clear out the doubts and answer the questions as well as share the roadmap and other objectives of your project. There is a team called "coin interview", they are good. Search in youtube and see their past interviews with various projects. And best of luck with the project!

I have seen it on the edcon. But their ideas seems like too difficult to get a realization in the real life, And which mean they will encourage more people to get into the cryptocurrency.

Hi,

what ICOs are you waiting for? Is there anything worth investing?

don't risk your money with ICOs you are better of gambling your money and have a bigger chance of making profit than making anything from ICOs these days, they are all turning into scams and failed projects one after another.

I also want to invest in ICO, but further digging points me to it as being a scam. So I'm having second doubts. Good thing I read first and explore what ICO is worth investing.

A lot of people spamming their shitcoins and even leaving their avatars/signaturers on. If its actually true, then its unfortunate that after the series of hype that took over the forum several weeks ago and everybody was like that is the next  big thing to come around but unfortunately this is what we have. Even on their thread, its a tug of war with motions and counter motions with series of evidences coming from left right and centre any one could have predicted the outcome and even if it was not blacklisted, I doubt if the project will survive the exposure.

Yes their signature was well paid. But why did the team not offer signature reward with qtum ?

On the other side, it looks like a lot of people are saying they are scam. Then who to trust ? I would recommend those investing in qtum to do their due diligence and dont invest money you cannot afford to lose.
If they are really a scam, you might not see your initial investment back

Is it those type of risks that people need to take in crypto now to have some profit ? There are so many scam trying to benefit from crypto nowadays

They seem to be well backed, but I'm not sure if they deliver anything new to the market. I was planning on buying some of it on the ICO, but I'd recommend looking into it a bit more. If the tech is truly worth as much as its backing, then it may be quite a good investment.

I'm excited about Veritaseum Veritas ... this is an ICO actually backed by a top Wall Street CEO who is way ahead of the curve ... Reggie Middleton ... who called the Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers collapses (among others) before anyone ... and his vision is to turn Wall St. Hedge Funds upside down and give the 60% portion of their profits that goes to managers and executives in wages and bonuses to Veritas holders via Veritaseum

ICO is open until May 26th (2017 of course) ... might as well trade an ETH for 30 Veritas ... if these go to the moon like I think ... you're only risking 1 ETH = $85

BUT once you begin to absorb what Veritaseum is all about you will want more and more ... you say, why haven't I heard more? because Reggie Middleton is that far ahead of the curve ... also, the hedge fund managers in the business now only want to find a way to keep their jobs while using the decentralized technology essentially keeping the same system where they get rich even if their research is poor ... you will want to back up the truck to buy Veritas when you see just how big a market we are talking about ... and after the initial launch on the Ethereum network and the new hiring and training is completed, Reggie will turn his focus to Worldwide Insurance and Real Estate next ... accessible with the same crypto keys known as Veritaseum Veritas

If you are reading this, you will probably kick yourself for decades to come if you don't at least buy a few Veritas!! Join us!! :)

Did anyone bought Taas?
I didn't, Because he looks suspicious in my mind. Just like a ponzi game. The dev produce a lot of money for itself.

I'm looking forward for Basic attention token, Bancor and aeternity.

No doubt, bancor is a new revolution for the decentralized exchange which has bought a new idea for our community to fixed the liquidity problem.

Bancor is pretty nice as i've see on them but actually im wondering on how their system works truly but anyways i will just found out for my self.

And for Taas im not pretty much this coin since i think this is suspicious ones and might gonna dump after it will be added on exchange and ICO's for me is little more creepy since mostly all of them are been rigged and killed whenever it is been deployed on exchangers.

Yes till now i have invested in 2 ico in this month alone which is quantum project and ethereum link. Now of course I'm not going to invest in any coin without doing any research. The things which i normally research on recommend you also is to check if the project is actually legit and the developers behind it are not any past scammers. Second most important thing never invest in an ico by seeing the amount of funds raised as it can even be a self funded ico. And also if it is ether protocal based then mostly it has a good future.

I don't know if mobile go based on ethereum platform. But the real promising project is bancor, santiment and BAT. All of them have a good idea. All of their innovation makes sense in my mind.
It's not like another project with non-sense idea. Average aiming big idea with never released the product.  ;D

There are 4 interesting ICOs this month. Aragon, Tezos, Cofound.it and Status

3 are Ethereum based Tokens and Tezos is backed and there is a lot of hype around it. It is a currency with more flexibilty to adapt to new changes with hardfork etc..

What do you guys think might be a good investment according to the above ?

The other thing which I will recommend is that we have to invest in that coins which will have a stronger and solid roadmap and n which we will find that the developers will work for the coin to make it the most wanted coin and will make it a merchant coin then I believe that this coin get the demand and the price of it increases and investing in the ICO of that coin will make us more wealthy.

Definitely check out Exscudo. If everything goes as planned, it is an amazing project, financial ecosystem, that will definitely see a price increase as soon as it is launched, and later with their releases. Very good merchant solutions and everything. Currently ICO running untill 31 May. 1500BTC allready collected.

I pick SONM,Voise. Voise ICO is currently going on and still around 20 plus days for ICO to complete, they have a minimum cap of around 7500 ETH and will surely reach it.SONM on the other hand is a tough competitor for Golem and would surely be sold out on the first day of the ICO.

You want the best ICO going on that very few know about run by a CEO Reggie Middleton that's been mopping up on Wall Street for over a decade? Vertiaseum Veritas running on Ethereum = Worldwide Wall Street and banking and basically all P2P smart contracts ... $1.635 Quadrillion market ... insurance and real estate next in coming years      ICO open until May 26th   Exchange 1 ETH = 30 Veritas   https://blog.veritaseum.com/buy-veritas-tokens       You just set up a MyEtherWallet ... send your ETH to the wallet then follow instructions on link above to exchange into VERI Veritas ... this ICO will make it through the upcoming fiat/debt currency crash and then thrive as everyone realizes they can't trust the old legacy centralized banks and basically any kind of third party trust .... https://blog.veritaseum.com/buy-veritas-tokens ... you will be thanking Reggie Middleton for generations   ...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jsjyZyIDs0&t=1s

I think by choosing your investment you should consider what you can do in long run with it, and safety as well because you should understand that just because the idea seems good doesn't guaranty you will get back your money. But I definitely would agree with some of guys here who said that investing in new ICOs is worth of shoot because thats the future and you will regret after years that you didn't try then. But about how to choose new ICOs to invest? Look at the company look what they providing and what kinda of company's are collaborate with them because only if it sounds good it doesn't mean thats a good choise. That said I wanted to put forward one new ICOs that I have found and invested myself and the company really is going for future they are called FluzFluz. It is an off-the-chain project potentially introducing millions of people to the concept of a cash back consumer network. And what’s good, they already have a working product in South America, now looking to expand to the US. I think these could be one of many great project in the future.Recommend checking up on it.

I think investing in ICO is risky but the returns are much higher. You should be smart enough to recognise which ICOs will give you good returns like recently I got to know about this ongoing ICO called AGRI by blockgrain.io and they are only 7.5 cents! I'm confident because that is backed by Grain…the only asset that has inherent value throughout history.

I have already picked up big bags in their ICO. You can check out AGRI here: blockgrain.io

I am paying attention to an ICO that I think deserves to be taken care of and headed for 2018.

                                        Mammoth platforms ICO

                                                            ABOUT
The Mammoth is an innovative payment network and a new kind of money.
Mammoth uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority or banks.
Managing transactions and the issuance of Mammoth tokens is carried out collectively by the network.

                            WEBSITE (https://mammothblockchain.org/) - WHITEPAPER (https://mammothblockchain.org/doc/Mammoth_whitepaper_01.pdf) - GitHub (https://github.com/MammothHub) - TWITTER (https://twitter.com/Mammoth25741912) - ANN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3325562.0)

Mammoth platform pre-sale will begin on June 1, 2018.
The reason I think they will be big ICO is that their idea is simple but practical and there are many opportunities for different applications. That will help their co-workers develop well. Do not miss this ICO!

I would always go with investing in ICOs. I know few who have earned more and changed their lifestyles in a short term choosing the legit ICOs. I would name few best ICOs. Buzzshow, Fishcoin, IAMHERO, PolicyPol, Betrium, Eligma, IOS Tokens and Essencia. There are worth investing in. The projects are unique and the teams are really driving towards compete success. Better to choose few.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found a hidden GEM called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are already trading on some exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

I am also not in the favor of investing in ICOs while there are better options available. First of all, the scamming rate has increased over time. Secondly, ICOs are not as promising or beneficial as the requirement is for becoming rich. Third, even in the past, these projects did not prove to be of much good and now when there is too much competition, definitely they will be just wastage of time.

Invest in ICO I think will be difficult because of myriad ICO projects with the different concept. And of course from all the ICO is not necessarily all real and there are some that are a scam. And if they don't have the experience or knowledge of the ICO certainly is more difficult and you will experience a lot of losses.

don't risk your money with ICOs you are better of gambling your money and have a bigger chance of making profit than making anything from ICOs these days, they are all turning into scams and failed projects one after another.
i totally disagree with you, yes there are many scammers in ICO and make investors lose everything. To determine which one is good enough for you why dont you go for extra research on ICO that you want to invest? there are also many good ICO more than just shitty scammers. you will make more benefit in return with ICO than gambling, and gambling will not give you chance to win if you are very new.
How if i say XYO, DAOstack, Shivom? it just a small group of will success ICO we have many more

Which ICO to invest.. that's a hard question. But one thing to look out for when investing in a blockchain ICO is whether the team already has an existing product or prototype, that will actually benefit with exploiting the blockchain for its existing product with new technology.
ICOs are tricky to predict nowadays, but if you are willing to weather the storms then placing your trust in a solid product like the ongoing Multiversum project can have great returns in the long run.
Multiversum is one of those coins. It is backed by a very competent team and a great product that shows promise among veterans. They have proposed a fault-tolerant blockchain that will help research various products that will launch with blockchain features compatible to the blockchain 4.0 movement.. so they really are going somewhere.

Most exchanges have all that features actually, they can all have that features and combine all the features of binance and kucoin but the problem with new exchanges today is that will they have enough volume that will keep them going? There are several exchanges that existed long before binance and this coming beaxy, some even died already because no on used them.

But yes ICO are still worth investing. I just don't know if beaxy is worth.

Ico is worth it to invest for me, because you purchased a coin or token before listed to the market and the price is more cheaper so that's you can get profit and if you are lucky sometimes more profit but if you unlucky your ICO you invested will failed or scam. I think luck is a very minor contributor especially if devs intend to scam us in the first place. imo, we really can't tell until it happens. Speaking of ICOs, there's a token sale this coming July for Menlo One. Its plan is to create a scam free, user friendly, decentralized ICO marketplace. Currently there are icos that are worth investing in in crypto as long as you are patient enough to do a very good and deep research about the project first before investing in it because the rate of scam in ico is so high that it is risky to take part in a non-potential project. You can check the list of available icos to see the projects and then do your own research before investing in it.

I know a project worth investing now. It will be listed immediately after the ICO, in July. Minimal profit 100 -150% (for short-term investments).
Here are some details about the project:

                                        Mammoth platforms ICO

                                                            ABOUT

Why Mammoth Platform?
"To date, cryptocurrency has yet to gain mainstream adoption. The last barriers to mass market adoption will be removed when cryptocurrencies become embedded into everyday commerce.

Mammoth PAY vision is to create a globally accessible alternative to traditional banking, allowing you to store your money safely, access it instantly and transact with it anywhere, in any currency including crypto by using the MMT token, right from your smartphone.

In order for users of the MMT wallet to transact in real-time, the Mammoth solution will be integrated into the digital multi-currency wallet. This functionality can only be accessed with a MMT token. The MMT token will be used to pay for the operating cost of setting up the Data channel. Because MMT tokens can change in value, the price per transaction is calculated similarly to how gas prices are on Ethereum.

Data channels are a technique for making off-chain transactions with the same security  guarantees as  an onchain operation. Data channels allow us to conduct blockchain interactions as if they were being conductedon-chain, but require only that two or more users exchange information with each other."

You can earn better money than trade. But it requires more research and experience. If you invest, you can earn good money by investing money by distributing it to robust projects.

trading is still more better than ico and trading can also give you a more stable income because you you already know that you cant get scammed. while in an ico there is a big chance that your invested money can dissapeared instantly because most ico's are always known to be a scam. yet , trading will also require a research and experience the same as when you are investing on an ico because both of them are verry risky .

Re: ICOs worth investing

ico's are not really a worth to invest if you are only looking for quick bucks but cannot really aford to loose. there are more better types of investments out there that you can depend on. so youd better think twice.

Have anyone here know about menlo? They are trying to create a decentralized communication system that rewards user for giving valuable content for upcoming ICO project more like a merit system just like bitcointalk. LOL For me this is a good thing because it would create market with truthful and honest reviews on ICOs.

I have seen the website and its an interesting concept if they can pull that new investors can clear their mind about fake ICO's that as we know very rampant today. Anyway, does menlo only focuses on ICO and tokens?

You should be very picky regarding ICO's in the current market situation. I'd recommend taking a look at some Idex and Kucoin Gems instead of joining different ICO's right now. You can get a few of them under ICO price ;)

Neither of these have actually launched yet, so just look into them if you'd like.

I was convinced to invest in www.menlo.one and right now it seems that their project is something that we really needed. Investing in ICO right now is very very risky even the good looking projects will turn out as scam. Menlo.one is trying to create a platform with a community based system for an ICO marketplace.

ICO is a good opportunity to invest your money to let it grow for multiple time, but, in crypto investment this is not like the bank that when you invest on bank your money is secured and if there's a loss its the bank loss not yours, so double check the project first before placing your money into it.

Disappointment comments comes from investors who wish fast profit. ICO`s are good for investing, for the investors who knows
how to do it. Secret is knowing to choose good time for investing in ICO`s. In first week of the sale, when investors have
huge bonus on investing! When ICO get listed on exchange bounty hunters sell and price drops, that is also good time for
investing in ICO.
When you are buying is important, but how much time you plan to wait is second important thing. I think some minimum is 2 years
of waiting, projects needs time for developing and adoption.

When we do get in on pre-sale period then this is the best time to accumulate tokens for a potential project but risk would be there yet you arent still sure if this coin would be listed on a short period of time or you would need to wait up for how many months which i had seen some lots of cases already regarding this matter.About bounty hunters dump then its quite normal but wont really be that effective too much nowdays because most projects do give out bounty tokens 2 weeks to 1 month after its getting listed on exchangers.

Also, there is another unique one called STAKER which is not an ICO actually. They are doing weekly airdrops and doing great so far. The team knows what they are doing exactly. Investing in ICOs is wastage of time and money because currently 300+ are running but among them only 5-6 ICOs are good, 10-15 are average and rest of them are below average or SCAM. Only participate in ICOs as a bounty hunter not as a investor. But still you can find some average ICOs from Icobench and bountylord.

The fact is that even a more thorough study gives only 75% of the successful analysis of the project. The results of the company's ico may still be different, not those you hoped for based on the results of your audit.

Hi,

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on exchanges right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

don't risk your money with ICOs you are better of gambling your money and have a bigger chance of making profit than making anything from ICOs these days, they are all turning into scams and failed projects one after another.

I agree with your opinion, more and more ICO projects are falling one by one, because (maybe) the funds they provide are inadequate, so that for operational costs alone they are not fulfilled, eventually not a few projects change the direction of becoming (SCAM), a frightening project for most investors. But, there is an honest project, which I still follow until now, namely ShiftCash (https://shift.cash/).

In bitcoin or other crypto-coins it is worth investing always when there is free money. What to expect, of course the growth that will be. If you look at the long-term prospects, then you will understand only in a year or more what prices can be bitcoin coins and other coins.

I think NollyCoin (https://ico.nollycoin.com/) is the right answer. Currently NollyCoin (https://ico.nollycoin.com/) has partnered with several large and well-known companies.

I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. This will also boost tokens issued on the Stellar platform...

My most recent find among alts is AXU, "Argentas Exchange Unit" token issued on the Stellar platform and listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange, now only at its pre-distribution, or pre-ICO phase. A true hidden diamond, with low profile so far. Experienced people clearly, and cool tech for decentralizing and revolutionizing global banking - their website at argentas.io (http://argentas.io).

The pre-ICO price is 50% cheaper than the ICO price, a sure winner IMO, and I will certainly get some. They also have an ANN thread, I think here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4431900.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4431900.0). I dug really deep in their content, and it is really cool stuff ;D But don’t forget your own research!

I expect nothing. I think that investing in these projects is not safe, because there is a risk of losing all the money because there are so many fraudulent schemes-fakes that pose as such projects. Now you have to be very careful.

In any case, there are quite a few interesting projects in the company’s market, but nevertheless you only need to invest in ico when you are completely confident in the prospects of this project. Basically today the company’s ico market has a lot of scams among all projects.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

Most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

They are already trading on exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

I am currently just waiting for the ICO that I have been following, because I am a bounty campaign participant. Is there anything worth investing? maybe you can see worldopo which has a platform as a virtual mining game, playing games while mining can be done. and currently the ICO is still running.

When the market looks red like now it looks difficult to recover, choosing an ICO is a difficult thing because of the many scam projects, but I recommend choosing Swipe, an ICO that already has a good reputation on various ICO rating sites.

For now is it difficult to say which ICOs is worth to investing, because a lot if ICOs are falled down and this mean that the projects have seen a price under the ICO price.
