I have been busy with life and have not been able to put any attention towards the site (I think I have ADHD maybe, dunno). The site is a few years old, and bitcoin has grown a lot since then, and still is growing, so it's definitely a very good market to be in. I mean, Coindesk sold for half a million but it is probably the biggest site in this market. Have you tried looking into selling on flippa or any other website marketplace?Right now, any traffic or revenue is pretty residual, so barely over zero. You would be paying for the domain (included in Google News), the established content, all the social media etc. Basically everything ready to be running at full steam again. I previously used Adsense to generate revenue, but there are other options you can use certainly (native ads, sponsorships etc). I'm looking for $xx,xxx. Would there be any buyers interested in purchasing this website? Can anyone point me in the right direction of one? People will pay good money for a good domain, well-established website, and/or good revenue. Even if the revenue isn't there, the website could still go for a lot (not sure about the 5 digit range) based off the content and how popular the website is. Good Luck! Think beyond that mate, an investor wants ROI. - How much Ad Income did you had? - How much Unique visitors did you have and how long did they stay? - Source of traffic There are many factors that determine the price. My advice to you is to make a proper presentation of your website, including statistics, potential etc. etc. Like any company, investors need info. Good luck with the sale. I don't think there are alot of people on bitcointalk who are interested in buying a website for $xx.xxx, the most people on here are young and don't have that much money and are mostly scared to even invest 5$. It is difficult that there can be found a buyer for digital goods worth more than 1BTC. most work ends here between $1-$10. Website with $xx.xxx value must have an excellent domain name. Post by: OROBTC on May 18, 2017, 11:10:28 PM Quick bump if anyone is interested or can refer me to an interested buyer, before this goes on Flippa You'll probably get more money for your website if you can do the work to generate at least a little business there. Once you have a very few customers, that would likely get a better price than a website with NO customers at all. I understand that would mean work for an uncertain result, but with NO revenue stream, it's hard to see that you would get much for your site. My opinion only, "YMMV"... |
