Title: Gamblers Opinion Needed... What Else To Add? Post by: mrdeposit on December 23, 2016, 11:30:34 PM Hey, I'm sure some of you have seen me around here. I post my NFL, NBA, and CSGO picks pretty often since I am a profitable sports bettor but degen poker player. So if you see me at the tables enjoy the free money lol. Anyway, I made the website MrDeposit.com (http://mrdeposit.com), its mostly about sports betting and esports betting but it also have casino and poker related stuff.
The following is already on the website NFL stats, odds, and tips NBA stats, odds, and tips CSGO odds, tips, and results (only the majors) MMA event odds and results (UFC only for now) Casino slot reviews Poker bank challenge (not taking it serious, so I should stop it) Coming in 2017 LoL odds, tips, and results Rocket League odds, tips, and results (only if my favorite bookie cover it) Here are my questions A. What are your first thoughts when you see the homepage? 2. What sports or esports would you like to see on the website? C. What else would you like to see on the website? Besides answering the questions, if you have anything else to add let me know. I will do my best to make changes. I know, I don't have a logo just yet. I am still deciding on how I want it to look. I will always reply to questions. :) Updated changes that have been made so far since making this thread. Things Fixed Mobile version fixed. Added Sports & esports list in the sidebar. Added recommended sportsbook (1 for USA, 1 for uk/eu, 1 for bitcoin) in sidebar. Added Dota 2 upcoming events and odds. Added Overwatch upcoming events, odds, and predictions. Added LoL news and predictions. Gave the site a little color by changing the black background. Reworked the homepage, sports section, esports section, and casino section. Added a footer to easily find online casino, sportsbook, or poker room by location. To Do List *Find volunteer/Hire writer for dota2, soccer, boxing, cod, cricket, Starcraft 2. Add a chat to sidebar or make a chat room page. Add poll: Game of the day for each sport (too much work but still on the list) Rework the poker section and add poker 101 articles. I think welcome bonus is the common want to see by many gamblers or promotion. B. What sports or esports would you like to see on the website? For me i want are basketball, boxing for esports are dota2 and league of legends.. C. What else would you like to see on the website? In the NBA image links, hovering zooms into the photo. I find this personally displeasing - keeping the images static is perfectly fine and preferred in my opinion.
The mobile UI needs some work. The hamburger menu would be better if programmed to be a drop-down while still showing the rest of the page instead of this: https://i.imgur.com/0ZmILDE.png Furthermore, the Facebook icon is slightly smaller than the Twitter icon - it can be fixed relatively simply. ... Currently, the banners display that but I will add something in the sidebar featuring the sportsbook and welcome bonus. B. I have basketball already, league of legends is coming soon. As for boxing and dota2, I don't personally follow them so I will have to find a volunteer or wait until the website income is enough to hire something to cover that. C. What type of unique games? A lot needs to be done there. I will surely put it on the to do list. B. I do love the english premier league but the website is completely focused on the USA market. I just wonder how you dont go broke with esport betting. You must have some formula or something bit its not like a casinoes house edge. Good luck with it I might even try it out myself sometime.

Nevermind, I see you add pick by yourself. Are they based only on statistics like you show in your website or do you also follow related news? And my first impression to your homepage, I find plain black on the side is not a good thing and catch the new visitors attention, its plainly dead, I'm sorry but that's what I think. Maybe it will be better if you will change it or mix it up with some other colors. Overall its good only the color is just a problem in my eye. 2. You would be surprised how many people blindly follow other people's tips on the internet. I should know I use to do the same thing. As for hard data, I don't have any to provide since the only tracking I use to do is watch my bankroll grow. But I was working on it earlier that may have affected the load time during the changes. I went with the plain black and white for now as I am still in the planning stages for design. The background will be an image sooner or later so the black will be gone. 2. Honestly, I don't follow boxing, so I have no idea where to look to add boxing. I will look for a writer that is into boxing. C. The name is just something easy to remember. I already explained when it will be added. I write the sports news and tips myself. Other writers will be hired when its cost effective until then only accepting volunteers. It's not like those other tipster here that will just post e.g Lakers @ 2.5 etc etc etc without even some description why they selected that way. And what is more funny? I would like to analysis each game a lot more than just speaking my mind. I want to add more stats, injury reports, and any other changes that would factor in but I have to find the time. It's pretty hard to do in-depth analysis on each game for NBA, NFL, CSGO, Overwatch all at the same time. I need to come up with a template for each sport and esport like I did years ago so I can do in-depth analysis on each game for every article I publish. It really depends on my bankroll at the sportsbook im using at the time. I could write up an article on sports betting bankroll management. With a nice size bankroll I only do 1% bets and with a small bankroll I am willing to take the risk to build it quickly so I would go with 5% per bet. I never change my bet size once I have decided on my bankroll size. So it doesn't matter whos playing or what sport/esport im betting it. CoD writer never got back to me. So CoD will not be covered on the site just yet. However, I am in talks with a huge smite and smash bros fan to become a writer for mrdeposit.com to provide news updates on the pro scene. I know some sportsbooks cover smite so this could be great for bettors looking to make a profit from that smite esports scene. A smite section hasn't be added just yet as I would like for him to commit before adding smite or smash bros. In other news, I have been doing my best to keep the website updated but I have been struggling with pain. The doctors say I need to get out the house to recover faster but all I do is work on the website, watch sports/esports, and talk with writers and esports analyst to get a better idea of whats going on in the professional scene. I know this research will help a lot of bettors make a profit once I get back to giving out betting tips daily. Until then, I am doing all I can given what I am going through. |
