Update on my end.

I contacted this user asking to buy and after a while he responded. I asked him if we could deal through pm on bitcointalk, but he just linked me to his autobuy again. I then asked him (with reasons to back myself up) to go first. He politely declined to go first.

Just an update, I can't say if he's a scammer/is not for sure now, but I would suggest either using escrow or not dealing with this user.

No vouching. That's what @player514 wanted to do too, and I refused him.

You won't be able to sell anything if you don't use an escrow or go first. Declining to cooperate with higher ranking members than you doesn't look good at all.

I'm almost 100% positive that you got scammed. This guy refused to trade with me over forum pm. If you can upload proof of the non-working code somehow, then people can flag this seller (LGG4) as a scammer through trust. Sorry that you had such a bad experience :/ ...

Sure, that would be a good screenshot. If possible screenshot that page and also the key that you got too so that everyone sees that the key that you got did not work and you didn't just put in some other key.

i have reported to rocketr with all the info and same to paypal...

if i finally get somthing working i will update the post, but for the moment, the seller only asked for the error after i say him the code was not working...

in paypal dispute, he say the key is valid... a big argument, after i post the screenshots, that demostrates thi key is not valid... in the case the key were valid or i was allready used, the steam message will say the key is duplicate...

what a scam user....  and lier.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience on this forum. Unfortunately, there's not much that people can do now other than warn others not to deal with this same user.

i payed to you for a valid key on steam ... and all i receive as i have uploaded with images... is a non valid key... this means that key was not posible to activate on steam, because is not a valid steam key...

if at least it was a steam used key, you can say i have activate it, but no this was not the case... that is a generic key, can be from a different game on a different drm... who knows.

How can you even sell at such a low price? It seems way too good to be true. Also, why no vouching? You wouldn't be losing that much money and you would get way more sales. Seems a bit fishy to me.
