You can solo mine it,just read the instruction in the announcement but mining on pool is more advantageous,there is still no pool available to mine this coin,so the difficulty is not that high yet I'll try to mine this coin because this coin has potential when it hit exchanges.

I thought that this is bitcoin wallet so this is an altcoin.. anyway i am waiting for cpu or gpu mining tools how to mine it.. i have some other desktop stuck in my house.

I downloaded and check the wallet and it's 100% clean,the wallet connection is great with 5 active connections but about the miner,I don't think I will use it seeing a lot of virus on it,why not paya a minin gpool to Bitconnectcoin and let them provide the software,much safer that way .

Yes it is not just a false positive, there are many trojans and remote virusses inside for what i can see. Do not download anything from bitconnect till its clean, for now it looks like a scam. Let the dev work it out (if he want ofc)

Dev should answer this ,why they had a wallet full of virus,it is ok if it is only one or two but with many virus showing they should have first check their source,they had a dev team for their wallet ,why this one escapes their attention.

Mark my words, this coin will boom so fast soon, I have personally interacted with them and they are too determined to produce the outcomes.
I generally don't vouch for any altcoin, i do find hard working team behind this coin.

what they want to develop?? i must tell you that they are here from 2015, may be late 2014. They are china based which is already prospering with bitcoin and fucking ¥ , They have leading investment portal which is https://bitconnect.co/.

I would like to take you to the scenario of betking, they are old gambling site with trust , so they started betking tokens which could be used as investment on their site , they do had investment prior/before the tokens. taking the analogy(not sure) from there they also have a leading investment portal and they want to make this token as a mean of investment on their site.

I just wanted to try out the fun of mine times if I find a few blocks but already at the download of Bitconnect Miner blocked my browser the file already because of maleware! Since it is known that some Miner as a malware or virus is recognized then nevertheless the file saved and started in sandbox and let the file then with Virustotal examine then I was actually all clear most miners or wallets have 3 or so but not so many Negative findings! It is only about Miner the wallet I did not examine! Regards Lafu

The wallet is 100% clean only the miner has those issues,that is why I skip mining this coin,the dev should address this issue right away,I know that 2 to 3 is ok but 5 up is not ok,something is really wrong with the miner,anyway I will just wait for the pool and see if the software is different from the one that they are giving us.

The miner is 100% clean, the issue is related to .dll files which are there in the mining directory. Anti-virus software consider this kind of files as virus if its unknown to them and quarantine them. The primary step to start mining is to disable your Ani-virus software and configure your miner.

Is there any way to add nodes to the macOS bitconnect wallet? I'm usually only getting 1 active connection most of the time. It would be helpful for the users to be able to add nodes to a config file manually if it was possible to do.  We need to be able to connect to the bitconnect network when we need to transfer our Bitconnect  (BCC) coins/tokens. This is the second thread about Bitconnectcoin I think many newbies are posting bad stuff about Bitconnect these are losers who fails and cannot accept Bitconnectcoin as a profitable cryptocurrency so you should make this thread a moderated to avoid these newbies negative post again.

Has anyone actually been able to get the windows wallet to work?
I've mined 0.3 so far into my windows wallet address but can't do anything with it since I can't get it to connect.  I've tried multiple computers - all say 'there are 0 active connections to the bitconnect network'.
I've tried turning firewall off.
My connections are straight forward.

I've also opened a ticket with their support team without any response.
This is either a scam or a seriously poor project.

Bitconnect has a genius scheme going on (which you can read about in other questions), that may last a long time and yield high returns, may crash at any time, or may become market dominant.

The thing is, with crypto all coins are competing to acquire the biggest market cap and eventually become the “standard” coin. The more people invest in a coin, the more important it becomes. They are all ponzi schemes in some sort of way, even if some offer other services. This doesn’t alter the fact that the tecnology is here to stay and disrupt the world!

So far, bitcoin dominates the market, but if bitconnect manages to attract enough capital with its scheme and profits, it may just end up becoming the dominant coin, and that would yield even higher returns for current investors.

If it is managing to attract more fiat into crypto, it is doing a good job. The more awareness crypto gets, the better, and bcc has many user friendly features such as the decentralised exchange, referral program, the mobile apps, website, etc., that many other coins lack.
