Instruction for solo mining

Step1. DOWNLOAD (http://www.bitconnectcoin.co/wallet/bitconnect-wallet.zip) BITCONNECT WALLET FOR YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM.
BitConnect coin uses a special algorithm called the POW/POS to secure the BitConnect Coin network.

In order to solo mine POW BitConnect coin, you’ll need a BitConnect coin wallet. You will need to wait for the blockchain to download if this is your first time using the wallet. Be patient it can take awhile.

Download (http://www.bitconnectcoin.co/wallet/bitconnect-wallet.zip) the wallet software for Windows operating system. (Note: Guide on Linux, and OSX BitConnect Wallet available soon.)

Step2. CONFIGURE
In window, Open start menu, Search %appdata%, You can see 'roaming/bitconnect' folder.

Close your wallet and create bitconnect.conf  by using notepad editor in 'roaming/bitconnect' folder.

Simply copy and paste the following lines in bitconnect.conf file and save it.

addnode=128.199.166.25
addnode=138.68.49.29
addnode=188.166.158.172

Open BitConnect wallet by double click on bitconnect.exe.

Step3. SETUP MINER
BitConnect coin can be mined with CPU/GPU and does not need an ASIC miner like Bitcoin does.

If you want to mine on a Windows Operating System, then you'll need to create your miner batch file to point to the wallet.

Click here (http://www.bitconnectcoin.co/miner/bitconnect-miner.zip) and download zip file

Extract the zip file

Simply open notepad and then copy and paste the following line or Download (http://www.bitconnectcoin.co/miner/bitconnect-miner.zip) this pre-configured RunMe.bat file and place it in your miners directory.

minerd --url=http://127.0.0.1:4210 --userpass=username:password

Now save the file as "RunMe.bat" in the same folder containing your miners application files. You are now ready to mine first POW BitConnect coin Block, double click on "RunMe.bat" to start mining.

Just so you are aware, scrypt can be mined with an ASIC, I happen to have one that can mine with 300 MH/s.

You need to also put in "--coinbase-addr=" ??

Multupool.us now offers Bitconnect coin mining.  It's one of the longest running auto switch pools, works great with nicehash (it's on their list of recommended pools).

I've done the Steps for the Set-up.
Just trying for solo mining just for set-up but it says |"Stratum Connection failed: Couldn't resolve host 'cryptomine.io"

Guys, can you please help me. I can't login to my bitconnectpool.co account.
It keeps on saying that my account is locked, "check your email for instructions to unlocked".
BUT there is no email. I sent 2 support tickets to Bitconnect mining pool but NO response. its been a month now.

The minimum payout is now 10 coins in your user settings at Bitconnectpool.co
You can choose to turn off auto-pay or you can raise the payout threshold (25 coins, 500 coins, etc) but doesn't payout less than 10. 

Is there any working BCC pool at the moment except bcc.coin-miners.info
This small pool works, but don't have luck with blocks finding.

No, no please no. We dont need a Bitconnect revival. IMO they did enough damage to the scene already.
Every crypto noob heard about the bitconnect scam, i mean , there are enough ressources to consult in regards to this scam.

They didn't even care to make up a not-MYEYEZZZ stupid name  ;D
