Title: Favorite quotes from BTC-E 'trollbox'
Post by: Cyberdyne on April 11, 2013, 01:52:06 AM
The chat box  on BTC-E is often quite funny to read but this line had me amused enough to repost it here:

Quote
tthere55: mt.gox should upgrade theire 28,8kbps modem.. it's old school now..

Thanks for the laugh!

No matter what anyone's opinions of the site are, you can't escape this ridiculousness:

Code:
* Min amount for withdrawal - 0.1 BTC.
* Fee for withdrawal is 0.01 BTC.

* Min amount for withdrawal - 0.1 LTC.
* Fee for withdrawal is 0.5 LTC.

It's a digital currency, it doesn't cost them anything to withdraw it for you.

Withdrawals are expensive, but trading is fairly cheap at 0.2%.

I wouldn't trade LTC/USD anywhere else.

Go to gox for BTC/USD though for the volume  (if you can connect and wait for 30 minutes for each order to get added to the queue. Hopefully they will upgrade that 28.8k modem one day)

The transaction fee is included in this withdrawal fee? If so it's not so ridiculous after all...
(I've never got my few BTC from BTC-e)
