Lets recap 2016, what were your goals in terms of earning money / (bitcoin) for 2016, and have you succeeded them/reached them? What are you aiming for in 2017?

I guess I'm good with my achievements for this year , It was nothing huge but I definitely found out that ICOs/IPOs are not useless as I used to think and there is always a possibility to invest in successful projects , hopefully I did and I will see the results in the upcoming months with 2017.

I don't think that people will ever get satisfied though , greed is a human nature and only a few people can defeat it. We always want more even though we have things that could suffice us . If we only look at people who are below us instead of looking at the richest all the time.

I never had a financial goal during the year as i was just trying to learn about the new technology and i am pretty sure i will have my goals fulfilled in the coming years and i have set my goals this year and hope i could achieve this and with the price increasing it is really interesting to have some coins in your collection.

I did, actually.   This was the first year in a long time that I actually set a specific financial goal, and I met it ahead of time thanks to the big bull market in stocks.   It didn't have anything to do with bitcoin--maybe next year will.

i am never completely satisfies because i always want more. but looking back and seeing how much i have earned and how much i have spent or lost, i feel satisfied enough and specially with the price rise to $950+ that happened in the past weeks i have crossed the profit goal that i had in mind at the beginning of this year.

No i don't, still there are something wrong with my style of trading altcoins and it is give small amount of profit and i have a plan for making increasing earning bitcoin from trading altcoins,
that is it related with bitcoins and digital coins world.
Actually i have real business, I mean small business and my target on 2017 is making the business more growing than on 2016, the business is not related with bitcoin.

I was in the first half of 2016 began to invest in bitcoins, did not set any major goals, just hope bitcoin does not depreciate, but now the market value of bitcoin is much better than I expected. 2017, still hope bitcoin can go farther and farther.

Well thats cool! Holding over 1btc :D. As my self im planning to do that to have a 1 btc over this year. But overall if i recap well i started btc this year and i could pretty say that all in all ive got almost 1btc in total but i always exchange it to real fiat so that i could buy something but this year i should hold my btc :D and hope by the end of the year ive got over a 1btc

congrats on meeting your goal. but I think you need to rethink your strategy to meet your goal in 2017 because so far what you did was have $950 in your wallet after a year which is $79 per month and if you think about the price of bitcoin back in the start of this year (which was around $400) it means you were adding so much less than $40 a month to your bitcoin wallet.
all this is lost opportunity that you can never get back.

So far to summarize it all I never reached my financial goals in bitcoin but I somewhat had came close to it. Literally nothing had gone according to my plan this 2016, all of my investment plan at the start of 2016 have ended in failure but somewhat ICO's have helped me to get back what I lost and profit from it. Also, signature campaign bounties from ico somewhat contributed to it so somewhat my financial goals have almost been reached even if my original plan didn't work at all.

Couldn't reach my main target though, which was earning around 1 bitcoin and holding it in the wallet, but got some things i wanted to do with bitcoins, like i wanted to buy a bike for myself with my earned bitcoins so i did that, lets see what 2017 brings for us, hoping for the best.

Well 2016 basically is when i learned about bitcoin and it's benefits so it's a learning process for me. Though i can say i earned and saved quite a lot already through signature and trading, which i'm still learning by the way. So for 2017, i have a pretty modest goal. Just to save around 4 or 5 full btc would be nice as i'm confident that with the things i've learned and will learn in trading, that amount would be realistically attainable

2016 was a great year for me because I was introduced to bitcoin on this year and started earning bitcoin.Unfortunately, my goal was to store 10 bitcoin before this year. But for the lack of time I couldn't reach my goal.but I am happy what I got on this year.In 2017, I want to keep 20btc on my cold wallet.

No, for me it's never enough. My goal for now is to have at least 10 Bitcoins, but I'm sure when I reach it I'll start thinking about 15, then 20 and so on.
My ultimate goal would be to have at least $100k in Bitcoin, which may come faster than expected with the current price predictions.

This 2016, I think not  yet, though I met my average target earning from trading and other stuff, I have not achieved the total bitcoins I wanted to save.  I just started recently, way back October on keeping some BTC of my earning while cashing out part of it.  My financial goal is to save $10,000 worth of Bitcoin but I am less than 10% of it  :'(.

I cant say I reached my financial goals. I live very modest life, with my salary I can pay bills, food, for other things I need to take credits from bank, borrow money, and even then I need to male choices between couple things, I always have for one.
With bitcoins I started to think and work for my future. I plan bitcoins to be my pension one day. And only with bitcoins I see opportunity to make my finance better.

My goal in 2016 is to increase my btc earnings from cents to hundreds of dollars monthly. There are many trials that has come my way and many scams had eaten my earned btc. But overall my 2016 journey was a success.

I'm looking for 2017 to be a fruitful one, I hope to earn thousand of dollars this time but if not possible increasing my income through an increase in bitcoins value is my  hope for this year.

Absolutely, 2016 in the crypto has been my profitable year so far. My investment have grown more than what I expected, but as they say we are just human we aim for more. I hope this year, I can surpass what I achieve for 2016. It's possible because I believe in Bitcoin.

The bitcoin price seems to be climbing so fast and furious in the first quarter of 2017 and for that it means my financial goals need to be set lower for the new year as btc value has gained value

I wish I had taken more opportunities with regard to making certain investments. Many altcoins, in fact, fell dramatically in value in the last year, but there were many altcoins that had great results.
To make such investments it would be necessary to know very well each cryptocurrency, and thus avoid the risk of making wrong moves in the market.

I believe that in this year, there will be a smaller amount of opportunities to invest in altcoins, since the Bitcoin rising will negatively influence many of these cryptocurrencies.

There are a few of my goals in 2016 that now I've achieved. As bitcoin could have an income of about $ 200 per month, and now I can reach it. Other than that I can reach to learn the trade and was successful, though it can not kept profit but I've been able to learn the trade. While the goal in 2017 is to be able to open a business in fashion from my bitcoin income. And I also want to kept profit in trading with the loss of no more from seven.

No, I haven't reach my financial goals for 2016. I hope to get it this 2017. It would take me a long time to work for what I need and I still need more work so that I can provide for my family and my studies. My student loan is really piling up, but I'm still here so that's nice. Looking forward to a better year.

I have trade more than $ 770 (with bitcoin) in last year which it reach my target on 2016
On 2017, I try to make twice profit based on last year calculation ! It's gonna be tough decision but it's not impossible

I even came later than you just few months to the end of the year 2016 so I coudnt even achieve much but I am hoping to make this year a financial breakthrough with the source coming from Bitcoin in a legitimate way. Even with the few months I find my way into Bitcoin, I had projected how its going to look like at the end of the year but alas it was not as simple as that and I reach far below of what I had earlier projected.

It's still on process up to these year, last year was a struggling year for me ,even in financial matters. There are lots of important things to be done, and all that expenses.I don't reached my financial goals yet, hopefully this year there's a certain movement on my plans and improve more my hardwork to achieve my financial goals.
