Title: If bitcoin crashes to $2 and litecoin remains around $1 or 50 cents...

Could we see a massive reversal in fortune from btc to ltc? Especially if mtgox puts ltc on their website this month...

LTC/BTC has actually been falling during this crash, meaning LTC/USD is falling faster than BTC/USD.

LTC/USD *has* to fall with BTC/USD. but LTC/BTC may not move much.

My comment was pointing out that during the crash, LTC/BTC has also fallen slightly.

I barely see it moving .001... I wouldn't call that variance. X_x

Well like how he says it, if bitcoin falls down to $2 and litecoin stays at $1 it is yes.

But I don't see that happening actually so, no. If bitcoins crashes to $2, no way it will be between $0,50 -$1

Are there any direct LTC <-> fiat exchanges other than btc-e?

I am a litecoin supporter, but litecoin overthrowing bitcoin is bigger than a pipe dream.

I have no doubt Ltc might acquire strength in this up and down though.

In the long run Litcoin might get equal market share yes. But you wouldn't like that scenario since it would be worth less than it is now.

Only with a generally accepted and established niche market can both grow in a sustainable way. The mainstream cryptocurrency hasn't been invented yet.
