Seems like you sprung for the Gold tier Mavens software, so it's good that you're willing to invest some money/time into the project.  As far as functionality for how it plays, it's fine (Mavens software seems pretty reliable).  The only thing I saw that was worrisome is the "disconnect protection".  Does that mean that if someone gets disconnected their hand is still considered live and they can win the main pot?  That's very very bad and very easy to exploit.  If it means that someone gets extra time to reconnect before their hand gets folded, though, that's fine.

As far as larger issue, I'm curious if you've hired a Poker Room Manager/Security to handle the site when it launches?  It's important to have dedicated people on the job since running a safe and profitable poker room is a full time job.  Do you have a marketing team?  Marketing towards poker players (not just towards bitcoin enthusiasts) is crucial to your success, and is something that no bitcoin-based room (except for early Seals) has done correctly.  Now that Ignition and WPN use bitcoin for deposits/withdraws, it's a much easier concept for poker players to wrap their heads around and they are likely to be more receptive towards a bitcoin-based room.  Do you have an affiliate structure set up?  VIP levels/rakeback?  Do you have plans for a stand alone client in addition to the web based client?  Is the withdraw process instant? (it shouldn't be)  Is MP getting half of your rake? (they shouldn't be)  Why are you using the 1 chip = 1 bit conversion instead of the industry standard 1 chip = 1mBTC conversion?  Do you have systems set up to deal with the rampant begging that online poker is rife with?  What about p2p transfers?

The marketplace is primed and ready for a good, well run, well marketed bitcoin poker room.  Hopefully you're committed to the cause and can fill that need.

(also as I was typing this, it looks like your 2nd tournament has disappeared from the lobby)

Disconnect protection gives someone extra time to reconnect before their hand gets folded.

When we get out of beta and fully launch the answer to all your questions except one is Yes (Is MP getting half of your rake? No)

We chose for 1 chip = 1 bit because most of our site's and Moneypot's users are already used to this conversion.

The 2nd tournament disappeared from the lobby for a minute because i made a change to the payout structure.

Why shouldn't the withdraw process be instant?

That's bad!

In a standard poker ecosystem, even one with a small (50-100) number of active players, it's impossible to monitor every single hand for problems.  Even with a large security team it's just unrealistic because of the volume of hands that are being played, the fact that you need to cross reference a ton of hands to prove malfeasance occurred, and the fact that a majority of your player base is going to be playing the game honestly.  The SOP is that hands are checked in two situations: when a player makes a complaint and when a withdraw is requested.

Let's say two (or more, most serious collusion teams run in fours, especially in PLO because you can get insane coverage) players team up to share hole cards/whiplash people/chip dump/run a best hand, whatever.  To cheat the other players.  If you let them snap cash out, then what happens to the players that were cheated?  And on a larger scale, when will you run security checks?  Randomly?  That's going to be fairly redundant and a poor use of security's time.

Currently MP doesn't take a cut of our rake. We are working on a update to the game that will make use of the MP bankroll.

The poker game is with real users, we are not running or allowing pokerbots to play on the site.

That doesn't make much sense.  You don't need a bankroll for a poker site, it's peer-to-peer.

To get into more details we are working on adding Spin & Go games. These 3 player hyper tourneys do not have a fixed prizepool and require a bet placed vs Moneypot's bankroll.

Oh, that's actually a great idea.

Although I do have to caution that you need a large player pool for that to work.  Betcoin, for example, tried to introduce those games a few weeks ago and they can't get any to run.

Am I looking in the wrong place?  I can't find any details on the multiplier frequency/effective rake.

first i wanna say i love bit-exo, due to health and financial issues i have been away for awhile, a lot changed but i was kind of disappointed tonight. i was able to join the free roll and I actually won.....and i got 78 bits....before i get lynched for the hey its free speech. i was just a little disappointed. when i left it was like 500.
and the faucet was removed. i can appreciate not wanting nothing but faucet freeloaders but im sure there are people like myself that can only afford to deposit once a week and sometimes not even that. and need the extra perks to make it to the next deposit date.
again before i get lynched yes there are chat games but to be included a minimum of .01 every 24 hours must be made and that was a little challenging.
for some reason i suck at online bitcoin gambling, i can go to a casino and make some nice hits every so often but since i was crushed and laid up online is my only option and for a good year i have been at it and cant seem to win anything over $10..
i just wanted to voice my opinion, it was a huge turn off 78 bits is dust compared to all the other prizes i see offered and if i didn't like the people and the site as much as i do id say ah screw it and find somewhere else to play. how many have been turned off by these things and took their money elsewhere, i dont know, I do know it seems to be a lot quieter now not sure if that is good or bad. again i can see not wanting faucet fornicators but ive dropped a good amount of bits( 80,000) just on plinko.

thats all i got your all welcome to tare into me for talking smack about 78 free bits now.

We had 8 additional freerolls on sunday with a bigger prizepool that have been removed since yesterday. The hourly freerolls with a much lower prizepool you are talking about will soon also be removed and replaced by another promotion. For our chat games the minimum wagered is now 5k bits (0.005 BTC).
