Mtgox may take a huge share of the blame for the pop of the bubble though. I think it was inevitable without any lag or DDOS. They're afraid: of the regulators, the governments, the bankers. The 'real' forex companies have a crapton to lose. It would be nice if that weren't the case - christ knows we could use a really solid exchange or two - but that's just how it is. They'll be along eventually though. If they didn't have money (and this isn't true) for scale their own infrastructure the could had asked for help, do something like Sourceforge, mirrors with digital signatures or some other shit... |
