hello friends;

ı wantto install electrum. ı was download the electrum from website. ı was installed. but it not running.
ı recieved electrum.exe error. system suggest reinstall but it is not work.
which electrum version is suitable for windows xp pro sp3?
(my friend any version of this program matched windows xp pro sp3?)

Saw this on a GitHub post, not sure if it's gonna help or not but it might, solved a similar issue. But before you attempt to use it, have you tried running Electrum as an administrator?

If it doesn't work...

Code:

download and install python 2.7;

download and install PyQt4;

download and unpack electrum python sources Electrum-2.5.1.zip from official download page;

run client from it's directory with "python electrum" command (make sure that python executable directory is in your PATH variable);

Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft and most of the wallets don't give support for it either. It has been reported that versions above 2.5 don't work on XP : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1508685.0
Its suggested to either try lower versions (not much) or simply upgrade your operating system .
