i heard that bitcoin will be $2000 at the end of 2017 so are you sure that bitcoin will be reach its price to $2000 or it will be never happen ?

Nobody can be sure unless of course they are on the inside of this pump.
I would say it will make an ATH but whether 2000 or not I can't say with certainty.

There will always be analysts that are particularly loyal to bitcoin and therefore make an outrageous prediction every year at the start. I can predict for 50 years in a row and say safely that bitcoin is going to go to $50,000 this year, you know what I mean? And when bitcoin does hit $50,000 i'll be called the bitcoin oracle, the bitcoin genius, whatever else they might call me.

Use your own knowledge to determine whether or not it's going to hit a certain price level. Don't be misled by others.

i am sure that bitcoin will be reach its price to $ 2000 at the end of 2017 because we can see the bitcoin price is going too much high level day by day and people adopting bitcoin in huge amount so i can easily says that bitcoin will be easily reach to $2000 .

You shouldn't start any investment scheme or intent with "I heard..."

People have been calling the price of bitcoin every year and half year for the last 7 years on this forum. Once in a while someone is right - does that make them smart or well founded in fact and rationale? No. It makes them lucky! What's the saying? "Even a broken clock is right twice a day."

The recent run up in Bitcoin price has happened maybe twice before (by % growth) and once before based on actual nominal value in fiat currency. The fact that it would continue for two years in a row is very rare. BUT, I don't have any rational or fact supporting the reason for the run-up, therefore I can't predict whether it would continue or not.

Who did you hear your "$2000 by the end of 2017" from? Satoshi?

A better question is are you or anyone else going to continue buying into this or wait to see if things cool off?

It's very possible to happen with such temps of grow. Bitcoin becoming more known in the world and it's better protected from hackers attacks. So I think bitcoin have all chances to hit that price in 2017 year.

It looks to be heading that way. I guess we'll wait and see!

Well as I said in another thread my source tells me $1450 by the end of next year but in July it will drop to $830. You can see who my source is on that other thread too.

I would assume like many here that it could reach higher than that.
But then again people that actually do hold bitcoin are more hopeful than others that do not. :-\
I would say since it is near to surge past the price of gold for 1 bitcoin that sky's the limit after that feat has been achieved. ;D

I can say that bitcoin can reached $3000, $4000 and even $1,000,000 so on too and if you heard that, will you still have some questions like that? Everyone can speculate their own price predictions and no way your question is answerable by an accurate one.

Everything is possible in bitcoin price. If bitcoin price will reached $2,000 then it has chance same as the price will goes back to $1.

anybody who says he is sure is lying. it is called speculation for a reason. looking back bitcoin has gone up 100% in year so it can potentially be possible too but remember that this price is going to be new and it is like uncharted waters, if we continue on the same trend of rising, then we may be able to see an stable price around $2000

i think the price will be more than $2000 at the end of 2017 but its still a year to be happen and we don't know how much the price will be increase. but i am sure that in 2017, bitcoin will have a good way to reach higher than 2016 and bitcoin will be growth again.

If this price keeps moving like this it will hit 10K this year. No joke! Its tearing ass right now and may very well continue to do so over the next 12 months.

Prediction is based on bitcoin journey, world gov regulations, economics, and guess about widely spread to the people.
We just speculate how it's going to be, but in the end only time will reveal the truth.
I vote for YES, bitcoin could reach $2000 by the end of the year as now the price continue to rise. More people believe in bitcoin I thought, bitcoin offering more than just holding fiat money.

for the past 3 years that i am familiar with bitcoin i keep seeing only growth, in adoption and other areas. and in the past 2 months i keep hearing all kinds of good news about bitcoin.

i also love the media coverage these days (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1737747.0) and that is always good for the rise and overall growth based on more adoption not just old traders paying more for bitcoin.

If the ongoing price movement continues sure the price will reach $2000 by the end of the year. But in reality the same increase won't continue for a long as similar to the current increase. Increase happens in accordance to time and nothing is assured. If we reach $1500+ by mid 2017, then can expect $2000 by the year end.

10K will be difficult as hell. That means a market cap of around 170 billion USD. Very few of the fiat currencies have that sort of market cap. It may take Bitcoin at least 5-6 years to achieve that level.

this is too far for a good prediction, if it will increase too fast a big dump will occur at some point, i'm already happy with a stable and a new bottom at 1k for now

It starts to look and feel like the 2013 pump to the ATH.

A long period of continued growth with some small dumps has been going on for the last few months now. If this rally keeps gaining pace, 2000 may not even be that far away to be honest.

Bitcoin is on its right path and everything seems to support Bitcoin right now. We can not ensure about anything but we can hope that Bitcoin will reach even higher at the end of 2017. It is not impossible for Bitcoin to get $2000 so that we have to wait and believe in it

That should work for all of us here, a little satisfaction with 1 k and let's check this price a bit longer and then to think about future rise. There is talking how this is just another pump and that this price can hold for a long, I think this rumor's are wrong. This is good time and price to we show to the world that bitcoin can be stable even over 1000$, this will not be new 2013, there is so many differences between now and then.

Despite the negative result of the ETF, I think that the price of bitcoin reached 1500 - 2000 USD by the end of the year.

I'd be happy with 2k$/BTC by the end of 2017, but 10k$/BTC is quite the dream.

Hey its going to be a long year and a lot could happen. But we could say it might reach that price considering no one will stop it like the government or some group that is against the bitcoin technology or what it does.
I am more thinking of a hard fight for bitcoin this year since it took over gold price.

Nobody knows is the simple answer.

Even if someone says that they are a pro trader or an experienced bitcoiner, it does not mean that they can predict the markets 100%. Sure, they may be able to predict that bitcoin is going to rise by 100% in a year but these predictions are more like educated guesses.

My guess is that based on the enthusiasm the bitcoin community is showing, it is very possible that well see a price level close to, if not $2000 this year.

Let's wait and see how the ETF and all other speculations grow. We are in Q1 2017, so we have to travel a bit until Dezember 2017  ;D

2000$ at the end of 2017 might be too high in my opinion since bitcoin has never ever reached 1400$ so I think thinking that bitcoin will reach 2000$ at the end of 2017 is wishful thinking. If 1400$ is reached within a month or two, it might be possible that bitcoin will reach 2000$ but it being 1400$ within a month or two has low chance but not that low. Let's just see what will really happen in the future.

ETF is a NO already, and yet we're recovering. It's a good sign of what's more to come.  ;)

Next time, ETF or whatever I wont sell anything. I am already at 4,000$ loss since selling last night.

It's really a lot of the amount dude, But next time the another big thing to get bet a lot of the traders will be coming as soon as possible, but it looks like you're learning a lot from the ETF bet.
