Title: Not confirming?
Post by: 0x0010 on January 04, 2017, 12:19:17 PM
Bloody Blockchain.info and it's warning. "Oh yeah dnot need to send a $1 fee, 30 cents will cover it!!"
2 hours later  :-\

Anyway, anyone know how long (estimation) it'd take for this to get confirmed?

https://blockchain.info/tx/ed11264ac5fbbf9a74e3b6fcc30407374e26f563dffbdc6ddb090d1fc25b5410

I checked bitcoinsfees.21.co but can't figure it out on this small device lol

Thank you :)

Bitcoinsfees.21.co just changed something that messed up their recommendation/estimation (at least that's how it looks like) so don't rely on them for now.

You can use https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx instead.  The statistic shows that transactions with 60~70 satoshi per byte fee mostly takes less than 3 hours and no longer than 12 hours.

Although it has already confirmed, I just want to add that there's no believing the fees Blockchain.info suggest. They are usually quite far off and not at all accurate. If in future you run into a transaction that doesn't confirm, I'd try ViaBTC transaction accelerator. It has usually worked quite well and there's a big chance it will help!

61-90 satoshi per byte is going to take at most 2 blocks?  That's not right.  The previous estimation was way more accurate than that.
Also they changed the fee range from 10~ to 20~ and just switched to 30~ few minutes ago.

But looks like OP's transaction have been confirmed. /thread?
