How it works
When you tip an artist on Twitter, the ArtByte Foundation will tip you back, double the amount.
For example, if you tip an artist 1000 ArtBytes, the foundation will give you 2000!

There will always be some who try to abuse the system, but we have several controls in the rules to be sure that real artists are being tipped.

And our Twitter bot verifies if a tip was actually sent.
 

I successfully received the 2000 free ArtBytes and requested mine deposit address for the tipping wallet. Only when I want to send the ArtBytes to the tipping wallet address I get an error 'The provided ArtByte address is not valid'. Something isn't working properly at this moment can you please check what the problem is.

I just tested sending 100 ABY from a test wallet on wallet.artbyte.me to ALsrbLAvd2Q7Fu5FupbzT91ZVwtdpcANmB and it worked. Can you try it again?, with a clean paste of the address?

Thanks after you said that you was able to send the 100 ABY I found the problem. When I tried  to copy the address with the mobile twitter app I received this error. After your reply I tried it again and got exactly the same error. When I tried twitter in mine browser I could successfully send the ABY. Both times I copied exactly the same just the address so this is really a Twitter mobile app problem.

This is one of the nice initiative. I have suggested similar kind of campaign sometime ago. It matured now. Good luck.

Thanks, yes now that ArtByte has been around for 2+ years, it is good to do these promotions from time to time, it benefits both the artists and crypto investors, which is what we are all about.

Artbyte was once trading at 100 satoshis. Now it is very low. Don't dump your Artbytes. Keep holding and spread more. You will get good profits in future.

We have run this promotion before and unfortunately because of people who abuse the system, we have to do it this way. Each tip you give, you get back double , as long as each tip is to different artists, so yes you can continue to double & double (the max for any one tip is 1000).

The payouts are done manually to protect against someone gaming the system,but you should have it by now. What is your ABY wallet addy?

To make this clear again, the tips are processed manually during US normal business hours. ArtByte offices are not open on Sunday.

What do you mean by withdrawal? Are you trying to move ABY from your Tipping Wallet to another wallet? Or do you mean that you posted some tips and did not receive your double bonus back?

So Earlier today, I tipped about 16k #Artbytes to 16 different artists. I'm glad this campaign is still on.  I'm yet to get double back for the tips. but I'd be waiting patiently for that.

By the way, When is the Give & Receive - ArtByte's 2017  Campaign going to end?

The tip bot mostly working great only noticed that yesterday not all tweets get counted correctly. Only received payment for 7 tips and tipped 10 artists. Best to count your tweets and see if you did get paid for all tweets you have done.

Hmm i only have one account and it is @gazgaz81 and never used any script or anything. I did not know that i have to wait between twittes . if you checked my twittes you will see it is all legit . and you mentioned nothing about limited twittes daily. I am sorry if i cused you any trouble .

That is correct, we added a new rule today that you will only receive the double bonus back on 5 tips per day. If you tip more than that in a day, you will get your tipping money back, but no double bonus.

So that Twitter will not close the account again, you will only be paid a bonus on five tips per day (and remember, you can only tip an artist once). If you tip more than five times in a day, you will be reimbursed for the tip amount, but receive no double bonus on the extra tips.

Yes, the bot went down, but is back up now. If the bot's account does not show your tweet, no funds were withdrawn from your wallet.

Your right was able now to request mine balance, the tweets that were not counted can I remove them and send exactly the same tweet to the same artist again. Not that the bot will think that I was already credited for that specific artists.

Yesterday I did 5 new tweets but didn't receive the double amount back today. Only received 5000 ABY instead of the 10000 that I should receive. Can you please take a look into this for me possible this have something to do with the tweets that I had to tweet again because the bot was offline.

Also the tweets of January 20 were paid really late the next day so this could be also a reason.

Twitter shows how many hours ago you sent a tweet for the first 24 hours, you can see it easily on your Twitter account.

You actually tweeted faster than 24 hours+ on two batches. The first time, Twitter showed only 23 hours and the second batch showed 21 hours. We paid the bonus on the first batch to give you the benefit of the doubt, but when you did it the second time we did as the rules say - if you tweet more than 5 tips in a day (24 hours) we will not pay the bonus, but will return your tip amounts.

You also tweeted in less than 24 hours (as explained in the post above).

We looked at the server and some services were down, so we fixed it. When @ArtistGift does not respond to the tip, your tip amount is not deducted from your account, so you can tip again.

I am getting tired of telling you this - As I have posted more than once, the tip reimbursements and bonuses are processed manually and so are done during office hours in the US. Three hours ago no one was in the office, they were asleep.

Yes it is, fixing it now. Just resend any tips, since no ABY is taken if the bot doesn't retweet it.

I tipped 5 artists on friday last week and the bot went down thereafter. Until now, I haven't gotten either the tips I sent or The bonus. No refunds were made.

Instead of tweeting send a message to Artist Gift. For some reason sometimes the tweet does not work.

For everyone tipping, please be careful and do not simply copy the tips of someone else. The purpose of our tips is to support artists and make them aware of ArtByte.

So when you tip the same artists from multiple twitter accounts or copy the tips of someone else, that does not help us spread the word. Be sure you are tipping different artists.

I'm guilty of this. I will stop copying other participants tipped artist. Thanks for the update & also for the campaign.

I want to thank everyone for joining our artist tipping program! You guys are doing a great job. We are continuing the program in March with one change.

When we began this program on Jan 4th, ABY was selling for 11 Sat, currently it is at 21 Sat. Additionally BTC has continued to rise, so 500 ABY today is worth more than 1000 ABY when we started

Beginning tomorrow (March 1 2017), we will reduce the bonus we pay per tip to 500 ABY. All the other rules of the program stay the same, you will be paid a bonus on up to five tips a day, the maximum bonus is changing to 500 ABY per tip.

Is there any update I'm not aware of? I tipped several artists in the last three days and  I don't get bonus anymore. Even If I do get bonus it'll be for one tip instead of 5

Here are examples of Twitter accounts that one of you tipped, that are not the official artist accounts. We will not pay bonuses on this type of account.

If you look at the accounts before you tweet, you can see that these are not official accounts for the artists. If the description says things like "fan" or "news" it is not an official artist account.

There is a difference in your tipping wallet and your personal wallet. To tip, you have to transfer money from your personal wallet to your tipping wallet.

i think there is some problem because when i checked my tipping wallet balance today it still showed the balance 40...instead of 60

I think you may have your wallets mixed up. Look at the wallet address in the transaction report above. That is the wallet address you originally gave us. Is that your regular wallet or your tipping wallet address?
