Title: What Are Your Favorite eSports To Bet On? And Why?
Post by: mrdeposit on January 05, 2017, 12:27:05 AM
The title says it all. Whats your favorite esports to bet on and why?

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.

My favorite esports to bet on is only Dota 2. I just love to go back to the teams that I admire since Dota 1 days but right now it seems a lot change did happened already but still I am monitoring each team regarding their games and bet small amount for the teams that I think that will win but this is just like the NBA for this season, teams has a lot of surprises.

Well, basically everybody that would comment on this post is that they would say they are betting the game they love or play. So everybody would just go like "I bet on League of Legends since this is my favorite game and I love to see my team win." So, I guess this kinds of comments will just fill this thread, kind of useless don't you think?

For me I bet on League of Legends, Dota 2, and CS:GO. I'm an avid gamer and gambler, so I use my knowledge on betting on these esports. It's really exhilarating to bet on these games as it is very action packed and I love playing these games too. I also learn some moves whenever I watch pros play, which is an added benefit when I watch the games I bet on.

I used to bet on Dota2 in the past (item betting, not bookie bets), but since Valve is no longer supporting gambling, all sites I used to bet my items on are now closed.
Time to switch to real money betting I guess. The game I wanted to bet on is  Smite, but I rarely see any site where this game is included, it is always CsGo, Dota and LoL.

I'd say CS:GO, because it's fun to play, and in a competitive match, it's easy to learn and follow what's happening. Even for someone who's never played, CS:GO is still very entertaining to watch, and easy to follow.

Why not use bitcoin to bet? Bitcoin is easy to use, and there are many well known gambling sites out there.

As for Smite, try https://lp.betway.com/esports_5free. However, I can't vouch for them, as I haven't played there.

i also think CSGO is the most popular game, because it is a solo game for the most part and a lot of people easily playing it themselves so they also can follow the teams and the tournaments and make bets at the same time.

but my favorite is Dota2 because i like it a lot and i have played it for a long time, granted it has been a while since i played it though.

As a kid I used to be addicted to Starcraft/Broodwar.  If you haven't played it or haven't seen the game in action, I suggest for you to go see it!  It's by far the best RTS game out there.  And the fact that it was created way back in 1998 makes it more astonishing.

I made an info and prediction thread for the Afreeca Starleague, Starcraft/Broodwar Tournament:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732205.0

Watching it being played at a high level is quite entertaining.  Please go see it.

Wow i never knew there's a starcraft tournament at this time of LOL and DOTA. Certainly brings back the good old days. This is also one game that i became addicted at years ago, even to the point of skipping school. Thanks for the link bro.

StarCraft is still enjoyable. The strategies are being more diverse that it needs more analysis. LoL and DotA are competing just by themselves. All games are incredible it's just depends on how you analyze teams and seeing that you can win.

Well that is same with me, losing in it is something normal and part of risk but it is no problem because i didn't made bets with small amount of money.
So everything under controled, losing or profit had been calculated before made betting into it,
and that is fun so becoming my favorite esports. :D

my favorite esports game was also Dota2 but it has been sometime that i gave up on playing it because of my busy life these days and a bad thing about Dota2 is that when you give up playing it for a while everything changes and it gets harder and harder to keep up with all the changes and eventually you encounter a whole new thing after a while!

Surprised no-one has said Starcraft 2, definitely the one I watch most and gamble on, but I guess it isn't as popular as those moba's.
I personally really like RTS games and Starcraft 2 makes for some really good gameplay to watch imo.

DOTA.
Because I play the game and understand the statistics.Secondly,it's fair.No trace of cheating in Globally Live Broadcasted Battles.Next up is CSGO for obvious reasons.

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.
The only problem is,they manipulate stuff at times. If the game doesn't represent a championship, bets can be favoured in the hands of less obvious wins.

Smite isn't big enough for bookies to spend their resources on providing smite action. Same reason you won't find rocket league action. Although I do believe rocket league will be one of the esports to take off this year.

My two favorite esports to bet on is dota 2 and cs:go. I only bet on them when there's a huge tournament going on or when tier 1 teams are playing because I heard on low tier teams there's some kind of match fixing involve. I'm starting to like sc2's competitive scene even though I don't play the game the strategies from the players are awesome to watch.

It seems that almost everyone here has the same answer and I'm also one of them, my favorite is also Dota 2 since I'm an avid fan of it way back its earlier days.

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.

Also CS Go is one on my pick, because one of my opponent when I was still on high school is now a professional CS GO player and I can't just believe that he really is.

League of legend and CS:GO. Both of them are my favorite games. I have played LOL for 4 years and CS:GO for 2 years. I never want to make a bet in any of games which I do not know anything about. This will absolutely make my money disappear

The question is about eSports, meaning online gaming, which you would have noticed if you had taken the time to read the first post.

As for Smite, try https://lp.betway.com/esports_5free. However, I can't vouch for them, as I haven't played there.
I checked this service and it seems that they don't have anything Smite related. At this moment their selection of esport titles consists of:

League of Legends - LPL Spring Split
League of Legends - LMS Spring Split
League of Legends - LCK Spring Split
Dota 2 - ESL One Genting
Starcraft 2 - WESG
Dota 2 - I-League
CS:GO - ESEA Global Challenge
CS:GO - Eleague Major

Im sick of those games to be honest. I can't stand League of Legends anymore, such an overrated game. Always with the same damn map, so boring. Dota 2 is also boring, and Starcraft 2 is just not was good as the original BW... CS:GO is too slow, I miss the fast paced duel FPS games like Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament.

Modern games are truly shit, im glad I stopped wasting time trying to get good to become a pro esports player.

I have no idea since I haven't checked in ages. I just did and theres this new Quake game announced called Quake Champions... but apparently it's going to be some sort of Overwatch type of bullshit. I think the ends of fast faced duel games are over.

I don't know what pro scene you talking about tho... apparently the only serious tournament that is still left is Quakecon itself, seems pretty dead to me. A scene that relies in online tournaments is not a pro scene.

Yeah but from what I've researched the online tournaments for the Quake series are tiny, so it's useless. They have like 100 dollar price pots, it's a dead community, with those sort of prices you never get the big players. Most of the big Quake names moved to other games like Overwatch and CSGO. Quake is the best game but unfortunately.. money talks.

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.

Honestly anything. Counterstrike: global operations, dota, StarCraft, lol . I'm not sure how the betting works though can anyone lead me in the right direction to make an informed decisions ? I know how the games work but probably not on the level I need to for competitive gaming. I would need to know what events sre most likely to happen and different times and why. Otherwise I am just wasting my money blindly gambling.

Its just like any other sports betting set up. Moneyline mean you're betting for a team to win. However, in csgo you can bet against the spread on how many rounds the team will win by.

I have no idea who is considered top teams in Overwatch but I would probably bet on Quake players that are on teams because they probably are the best players. Quake had team death match which was like a TF2 on steroids, really fast teamplay... way harder to play like Overwatch, so I guess the top Quake players can easily do well in the other first person shooters.

Honestly I very rarely do bet on eSport, but if I bet on eSport I prefer the game CS:GO. It's the same as you because I like to play and look at the game CS:GO. And allowed me can master and understand this game in gambling, so as to facilitate me to win the bet. I'm sure someone who bet on eSport definitely bet on the games they are also often played.

The current top overwatch teams are team envyus, rogue, misfits, cloud9, and fnatic. Also, currently in the winter premiere, renegades (use to be called kingdom esports by signing with renegades) are making a name for themselves. Quake players are pretty good as well as csgo players but tf2 players are mainly the top players because overwatch is just tf2 with better design.

Overwatch league is coming out in the second half of the year. They are developing their league like sports are where each team has their own home city. Teams and players are preparing for already planning for it. I'm just trying to keep up with it so I know who to bet on when the time comes.

Here a link to information on the winter premiere if you want to check out some of matches: Winter Premiere (http://mrdeposit.com/esports/overwatch/winter-premiere-2017/)

Yeah it is predictable that TF2 players are top... at the end of the Overwatch is also a slow game (compared to Quake) so Quake players cannot advantage of the fast speed control they have on the Quake games. I remember Fatal1ty went o play CS but he was never a top player.

I just wish there was a 1v1 fast paced game again like the good ol Quake days, right now there is no game that has replaced the 1v1 FPS format, the team games aren't that interesting to me.

I like betting on the e-sports I play. So I only bet on League of Legends, and CS:GO.
I don't do it very often though, because I'm not very good at playing or betting. At least I have fun in playing them.

The title says it all. Whats your favorite esports to bet on and why?

I will start it off. My favorite is csgo because its the one game i love playing and watching. Its easy for me to keep track of whats going on in the pro scene so I am rarely wrong on my csgo bets.

My favorite esports game to be on is with Dota 2, League of Legends and CSGO. Most of the these are very popular and there are still other games that I manage to bet somehow but that is  only for sometimes, that is with Starcraft. But for the said 3 games before, that is the games that I bet most of the time because I'm a gamer of it.

My favorite sports betting is also Cricket. This is because it is the only game I have some knowledge about. I do not watch any other games even Football. Also, there is huge money involved in cricket betting in my country. Most of the film stars here are also investing their money in cricket betting.

Everyone definitely like sports, but our favorite sports choice usually different than others, mostly youngsters like Csgo and if your are always right in it then definitely you are player of csgo. But i like cricket matches, it is my favorite game, because in my area, i always seen boys play cricket by my birth, that's why i also like it and i do betting on cricket.

My favorite video game is dota!

China's LGD team has made me interested in this game! I play in my leisure time.

There is no substitute for dota in my heart!

Dota 2 is another game, I don't like it.

is there any other game when it comes to dota? Its never been a video game.Your sentences on here is really contradicting which you have said that you do like dota but in the end you do said you dont like it. LGD and LGD.young are really very good Chinese teams and if we do really try to recall on previous The international tournament they do really have a very outstanding performance.

it's true dota two can not replace it ,, dota remains a favorite ,, and I think if we do voting ,, dota will remain the best-selling option ,, even can reach 80% ,, i also dota dota as favorite video game, because it is not free with the money in this game ;D

my favorite esports game was also Dota2 but it has been sometime that i gave up on playing it because of my busy life these days and a bad thing about Dota2 is that when you give up playing it for a while everything changes and it gets harder and harder to keep up with all the changes and eventually you encounter a whole new thing after a while!
Dota is the most popular betting games in my country, especially to the young people. Because You can easily know if who would win in that tournament . Dota is not easy to win in tournaments because it needs more strategies and skills.
