Im looking to invest all my money on another crypto coin

Do you guys have that can compete with bitcoin really?

Might buy 100 units of it.

Don't buy into any manipulated hyped coins currently
Buy Bitcoin.  You won't strike rich with 100 "units" as much as you dream.

All the alternates have different supplies, so 100 units is either almost nothing or a lot.

Now if you mean 100 BTC ($100K) then that's another story altogether.  Could be fun to YOLO that on an alternate you barely know.  ;)

I agreed, If you are planning to do so, better for to be more careful about it. So that your investment will not turn into waste. Beside I don't see any coins in crypto that are capable to compete with bitcoin.

There are a lot of good coins that can compete with Bitcoin,monero,dash are some of the coins,I can only add Burstcoin,they are easily mine,even an old computer can mine Burstcoin,you only need a hard drives to mine it and of course we all have hard drives in our computer and they are not very hard on electricity cost.

I think that there aren't any crypto coins better bitcoin at the present.
If bitcoin is down under 400$ I will spend all my savings to buy bitcoin and hold bitcoin at least 1 or 2 years.
 

None.  No one is trying to compete with bitcoin... only to complement it.

Bitcoin like a big tree and the altcoin seems like little leaves. With billion market capitalization, there is no altcoin can compete with bitcoin even zcash was failing become a competitor for bitcoin.

No no alt coin can defeat bitcoin for now, all of the alt coin that already being created still lose compare to bitcoin, it is very difficult to compete with bitcoin, the bitcoin user is so many compare to other alt coin, so bitcoin is way too superior to be defeated, you better invest in bitcoin, you will see great result in the future

Invest all your money into Bitcoin.With the rates bitcoin is taking over,I doubt any alt-coin  would even remotely compete with bitcoin.You may buy 100 units of anything,will take days to raise a slightly better marginal profits.With Bitcoin,it would be a matter of few hours.

I know why you asking about altcoins - you think that there will be another coins who will follow bitcoin's steps and will become overnight sensation, "from zero to hero".

Sorry to inform you Op, despite there are some pretty interesting and serious altcoin projects worth investing in 2017:

- Dash - with its highly anticipated Evolution update which may add huge value to that coin
- MaidSafeCoin - amazing project, currently in Alpha stage, trying to push boundaries of decentralization even further.
- Syscoin - project plagued with disasters and problems finally has a chance to shine with the introduction of "blockmarket"

I am quite certain that none of these coins will beat Bitcoin in the long run. Why risk it and buy altcoin which might or might not become big, when bitcoin is destined to rise?

it seems so. if you invest with altcoin prepared you will experience major losses at that time. but if you invest with bitcoin and you save will be rich and have a lot of money in the future.

If you are talking about competition with bitcoin, just forget about it and just look for some alt coins where basically can generate you profit.

To make my statement supported you can just simply rely on their market cap. http://coinmarketcap.com/

And from there you can see those aspiring coins who you think can compete with bitcoin.

keep big part of your investment in BTC and spread the rest over the top10 marketcap coins that are at least 2 year existing.
Never put all your money in one altcoin: for sure you have small chance to hit the jackpot, but chances are much bigger that you will lose your money.

Remember: don't take advice from anyone, make your own decisions.

Also while making investment make little bit study of particular coins. Because now a days many new coins with unique concept are launching. Some day there will be coin with more value than bitcoin. Its strange but could be happen in future. But still no one can get place where bitcoin is right now. Bitcoin is pioneer of cryptomarket and crypto industry.

i am also looking for one, if you found it give me call.
so far the 2016 bitcoin replacement was Ethereum, i don't  remember the coin that was suppose to replace bitcoin in 2015 but i am certainly waiting to see which one is going to be the 2017 altcoin to take the place of eth and claim to be replacing bitcoin.

Nothing can rival or compete with Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is the parent or the mother of the other crypto. Altcoin there because Bitcoin and Bitcoin is a parent or a mother to all of them.
If you want to invest in another crypto or altcoin, maybe you can see on this forum also saw the market or exchanger, there are some which they made reference to the exchange trade in them and maybe it could be an alternative.

i don't think it matter what those project can bring to the table, you only need one thing to compete with bitcoin, this thing is called merchants adoption, if your coins isn't used just for pump and dump it will match bitcoin, otherwise it will be used for speculation only, at least monero is used more than bitcoin on the darkweb and this make it a strong coin

if you are looking for an altcoin to have a real competition with bitcoin, you won't find any because they are all either completely bad projects or have many downsides that a bad match for bitcoin.

but if you are looking for an altcoin with fake competition with bitcoin to join in the hype pump then you can find at least a half dozen of them. the most famous one that we all know of is ethereum.

Buy only bitcoin, any cryptocurrency can't beat the Founder (BTC), altcoins is only for exchange or mining purposes. Don't made a mistake buying another cryptocurrency.

Many altcoin who became a rival of bitcoin. But I think it's very difficult because bitcoin was far above, so it is very difficult for other altcoin to be able to compete with bitcoin. Market Cap of bitcoin also be away many times more than other altcoin, it shows a very powerful bitcoin. If you want to use other altcoin performance may not be as bitcoin, so it may be better to think in advance if you want to invest in altcoin. But I'm sure there are some altcoin the performance is quite good, maybe if you want to you can invest there.

Of course, that is the fate of most altcoins. They are not viewed as serious force capable of changing name of the game, capture users and business and offer something so drastically new to beat bitcoin with it.
At this point I feel that only some altcooin created & backed by big corporation will have a chance to stood against heavy BTC competition.

Bitcoin is always number one at the present. Almost People in the world have known much more about bitcoin than the other coins and I haven't seen yet any altcoins which can compete with bitcoin. You can buy some potential altcoins such as ETH, Dash, Zec... They can be higher if bitcoin reach 2,000$ or more .

Nothing can compete with BTC but with luck or even better with inside trading you can make nice profits. Stay away from icos!

bit coin is the best coin to invest,on December it equal to more than 1btc=1150$ so think when (if it happened) btc price drops buy some btc then you can increase them by intelligently trading on ex changers,also buy some eth ,Monro and ltc,after 1 year you can see how much you profited

There are no altcoins that compete bitcoins, I don't talking high risk with making investment
to altcoins for long time.
Bitcoins is the coin for making investment into it and for long term strategy
altcoin are just for short term strategy investment usually just for trading.

so there are no reasons for making investment long term strategy to altcoins.

Hmm i don't think so for now until bitcoin reach his limit and any coin reach more 2 years being profitable.

if you are new to cryptocurrencies and investment in general then try to invest mostly in bitcoin because it is the safest option you can find among all the cryptocurrencies that exist today.

and if or when you gain the experience to see how investment in altcoins work then you can look around and find some of them.

in my experience there are two kinds of investment you can do here:
1) invest in shitcoins that are pumping right now, and it can be anything and make short term (1 day or even a couple of hours) profit and get the hell out of it.
2) invest in some altcoins that have more solid trading history, have been around and have some potential of growth in the coming weeks (a longer period but still short term) for example LTC and XMR
