A business blatantly lying to ensure profits?

Well, sarcasm aside, I'm serious; this is the most blatant lie I've heard in at least a few months.  I haven't watched Fox news in a while so that time frame is longer than usual.

Lolz, yeah, they might want to update that.  Maybe we'll see a new entrant who can actually maintain that claim.  Maybe someone will even go so far as to build a decentralized exchange for our decentralized currency, that'd be neat.  ;)

The best is their age old stat of them accounting for 80% of transactions, the real number is probably closer to 50% now.

They are always on, does not mean you can always access the website.
Example: you did not pay the DSL connexion, and they cut it. Or if they got DDoS.

Same goes for games. Diablo 3's servers are always online, but sometimes you can't play (updates, technical issues...).
