and this is actually one of the reasons why consensus is 95% for an example you can check what happened with ethereum hard fork, they did it without consensus and ended up with two chains called ETH and ETC with people having coin on both chains. But when new fork launched after up-gradation then later on BTC will be on new or updated version.
But if anyone have BTC on both version, makes no change as when user use that amount BTC for transaction nodes will be updated with network and fork will be updated. That means there is no chance to use both old and new BTC wallet address for more transaction exceeding current balance. |
