Title: Blockchain.info - Error: address.balance must be positive number.
Post by: yuijav2016 on January 08, 2017, 06:10:35 PM
I try to access my blockchain wallet since yesterday.

From different laptops, and phone

On desktop, wallet keeps loading but does not show any balance.

No trans History, no Addresses.

On iphone, Blockchain app gives

Error: address.balance must be positive number.

Now almost 30 hours passed, not solved.

Any one have idea?

I have a lot of wallets inside this Blockchain account, total about 7 BTC

So its impossible to be Negative somehow.. or maybe one of wallets inside are damaged ?

Should i wait more ?

Or no hope to recover my Bitcoins ?  ???

Thanks

Blockchain.info are definitely having a lot of issues lately , I do suggest changing to something more convenient like btc.com.
In the meantime , If you have the private keys of your addresses somewhere else then you should import them somewhere else , or you could try and recover your wallet using the passphrase they first gave you when you made the wallet.
I suggest doing the second option (passphrase recovery) only after contacting the support and seeing that you didn't give much help to you.

You're not the first person to report this exact issue today. If moving funds is urgent, try exporting private keys or wait for blockchain.info to fix their wallet service. The latter would likely have you waiting until working hours on Monday.

Thanks for your time

I have 4 main wallets under account, and 75 imported wallets

I can read Private keys for imported wallets, and these moved to another safe place

But i do not know how to find Private keys for 4 main wallets
They give me Public key

I think every Main wallet is like a Group of wallets inside?

Sorry im newbie.

A wallet is basically a group of addresses inside. Imported addresses/wallets are from the old blockchain.info wallet , now they are not giving the private keys anymore to the newly generated addresses , instead you should follow this method : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-2l6xOqcbjs9QWEqSh72RD1d8EEdvG_hQuEXw_f_o6w/edit (I don't recommend following it unless you know what you are doing though) to get the private keys from them.

Were you able to get it sorted? Because I am currently experiencing the same issue on my Blockchain and I actually need the funds there urgently. Blockchain has been having a lot of issues lately. I regret having an account with them.

How many days did it take for you to get the wallet sorted out?
