Regarding the forgotten limit:
I am VERY sorry of what happened. It was totally my fault for not stating that in the first place. My intention of this idea was to distribute these to as many of possible. The reservation of the next coin of the series will be organized better and there will definitely be a limit.
TMAN: I would really appreciate it if you would at least let one or two of your reservations to go in order for others to have a full set.

I didnt reserve all these for personal profit. I reserved them as I believe in the hard work that has been put in here...

I suggest a charity auction for spot number 10. zerox would you agree to this, you escrow and make payment to the charity - once that has happened then I would be happy to give over spot 10 of the gold coin. personally I think Wikileaks is a good idea.

if you are cool with this I think that is a fair way to get another one of these beauties into the wild.

I'm done for today. An adult who is getting mad and using casascius as an excuse. To be clear, I said "Mike is gone" because he doesn't respond to my messages after paying him. Then someone said that Mike will refund me, I replied with: "I won't give him my address and request some silvers" as a joke.

Yea the ability to buy the aluminum coins should be taken off the site if he isn't keeping up with it anymore. His coins are beautiful and always will be.
It's now nice to see all the new coin makers following in his footsteps.

Any updates?

The coins are already in my possession. Holograms however are still being manufactured due to a manufacturing mistake that happened in the first batch. I'll try to get these coins shipped out before the end of February, but there is a chance they'll get out in March.

I took my time and looked into more coins. It seems that either customs or the manufacturer had left a mark on some of the coins on the backside. Not sure if it's customs checking if it's real silver or a manufacturing error.

I don't think custom checks for it if you mark it is real silver

It is common in manufacturing sometimes to have spots on the coin

The coins have been marked as real silver, but were shipped along with another shipment of plated zinc alloy coins. I haven't looked into them yet. If there are marks on the zinc it was definitely the fault of the customs. But we are only talking about a few coins affected, although I haven't opened all of them.

That's horrible and i don't think you are noob enough to think that's a good plating and besides you only posted pictures of back of the coin for the same.

You should have cut short the third coin or may be gotten the plating redone

I'm sorry for the whole partly plated versions. I thought it was just a reflection of the gold color, like the mint told me, which obviously isn't the case. Like said the mint also blamed the customs for the missing plating spots. I will never use any Chinese mint again. However, the mistake is on my side for not looking into them in detail because I have been incredibly busy. The partly gold ones will be fully taken off the Xerola series.
I will be offering a full refund on every gold plated coin purchased and you still get to keep the coin if it's already in your possession. If not, they have the option to get the coin for free (shipping not included).
