Not everyone is a dumbass, only about 60-70%. Hey OP I think you should try this way. Downlaod the latest electrum, I think 2.7.12, and then: 1) Create Wallet 2) I already have Seed 3) Enable BIP39 since the 24 word seed is that format https://i.imgur.com/uMeiuzc.png You are done. I love my Trezors and restoring using Electrum just couldn't get any easier. If you need help let me know where you are stuck. I will be glad to help if you try even a little bit on your own.
Don't delay too long if your PIN is short and easy. Its not unheard of for someone to get lucky and pick the right PIN if you use one that ties directly back to you and the finder/thief of the Trezor knows you. You get 4 or 5 tries before the time duration starts to get too long to care. Just a simple warning. I use an 8 digit PIN on my Trezors with no link to me. Plus all my accounts/wallets use really long passphrases too. You never mentioned your personal setup. |
