Title: LTC speculation
Post by: kurbeks on January 13, 2017, 01:28:46 PM

Nobody cares about Litecoin. It's dead. There are no buyers, it's not used for speculation.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see a massive dump in the next 2 or 3 weeks. SegWit and release of 0.13.2 didn't bring what holders and speculators were hoping; they will soon dump their bags as they realise LTC time is over. At least, profitability wise.

Ethereum is king now.

I am expecting to see a price increase because litecoin was the first script coin and the current price of the coin does not justify the importance of the coin it once had and i hope the developers will come up with new ideas on promoting the coin with new projects and new platforms so that people becomes more attracted to the coin.

So, LtcSegwit Has recovered his lost demand again. This method was efficient to attract the older investor came back to the LTC>

The litecoin(LTC) still have the future. At least until the users of LTC need a something new soon.  :P ::)

for litecoin you only need to know one word: China!
that is all it takes, they will pump it soon.

now add to that the fact that Litecoin just released SegWit, if miners adopt it, that would be even before bitcoin and LTC will attract lots of attention and lots of traders, and be sure about moon (as in 10x rise)

Keep dreaming buddy. Litecoin will forever stay between $3.50 and $5 because that's ideal range for miners to dump their shitcoins.

LTC isn't going to pump - ever.

I wouldn't be so sure, LTC mining hash rate still rising and difficulty rising. I cannot find any proofs for your claims, and we all know chinese controlling most of LTC so they will eventually pump LTC again.

But if stay in that range it is not bad at all. Worst enemy of Bitcoin is volatile, if LTC can achieve stability he is winner!

Given his username,  he must have supported litecoin at some point.  Lost money on it, too, I assume.

But I agree, I think it's pretty dead.  Didn't know there was a halving, but I'll keep my eye on the price just for the hell of it.

Miners only care about profits

That's because miners have to pay very large electric bills.

Yeah, look up some of his posts... One minute he is against LTC and the next he is for it. Whatever makes him happy I guess.

The halving wont be for awhile yet, August 2019 it looks like: http://www.litecoinblockhalf.com/

he is suffering from a serious case of trolling and also multiple personality disorder which you can clearly see in his post history :)

and litecoin is not at all dead or even dying, it is being developed actively more than 90% of other altcoins out there. it has recently added support for SegWit and miners are starting to signal adopting it. it is moving forwards and also as i always say Chinese are very interested in pumping this coin from time to time, and when they do they pump it big.

Fact: BTC recovered from previous dump and is over $900 again.

Fact: LTC went down during this recover and is sub $3.80 again.

LTC isn't gonna pump anymore, which means it is dead. Development doesn't matter, price does.

Investing in LTC is worst use of your money. You can better buy a random altcoin with zero development and bigger chance of making money.

Price only matters to someone manipulating the markets by posting FUD here. When LTC rallies you'll be posting positive stuff. Like you have in the past.
