Are you asking how much I earn at my job or what I earn using my bitcoin?

Great question, the number should include all income you earn (on average) in a month. I now many people have have multiple sources of income, especially the younger and older among us.

Thanks!

I earn around $600 per month, which is close to the average salary in my country. But still, it is very hard to take care of all the expenses, such as rent, food, and utility bills with this amount.

My income is around $200 a month by doing signature campaign, investing in ICO and trading. This is fixed but sometimes it can increased .I earn around $50 by doin signature campaign it depends how much is per rate per post that manager want. In trading I Earn $100 a month because I have many altcoin so the profit is good . in ICO I invest in many ICO so my income is around $50 . I hope my income in the future become high so I can pay my tuition fee for the next 2 years. My income monthly is for good only to buy personal needs and for my allowance for my school like buying projects and books and many more.

Are you asking the member in this forum about their monthly income or if we are an earner? because if that so, in my experience here I actually do the job like what I did before when I was in the government working as a supervisor. I can also consider my self as one of the bitcoin earner, due to I received payout every week together my total income by doing trade in the different exchange sites.

I think my income in a month is only $300  but is not stable income . I earned money or bitcoin because of doing signature campaign, by posting and if your rank is high the payment must be good and I'm happy because. I'm rank is good. Most of my income is from trading I buy an altcoin with the cheap price and then sell it if the price increase. And I also invest ICO after ico  ends I'm happy because I make some profit . I also earned in the service section . all of my income is because of that.

Good question - I'm asking members of this forum what their monthly income is on average. Any income, all income. Bitcoin, fiat. Signature campaign, trading, free lance services, career job, stock dividends....whatever you bring in as new money each month.

What's that number for you? Or better yet...complete the poll! Thanks.

I am earning around 240$ monthly from being a site moderator and at the same time I am earning additional 100$ in the signature campaign monthly. That makes a total of 340$ monthly. That is my fixed income and I did not mentioned other sources of income because it is seasonal. My other sources are referral commissions, trading and gambling.

My monthly income is around $300. Most of my income is from trading. I have invested in 3 Altcoins. I get a little from signature campaign.Yet, im struggling to meet my day to day expenses.I had an idea of investing in cloud mining schemes to get a passive income, but since lots of them turn to be scams nowadays,so i dropped that idea. Now, i have planned to invest in ICO so that i could gain more when its price increases.

Sadly I don't earn more than $1,000 even if I combine my earnings in bitcoins, freebies/giveaways and adding my salary in real life. That's so sad to think about. Then expenses are about $800 a month. Paying for rent, electricity, water, internet, and food. Some more payments for some other stuff. I don't really save anything. Now you made me realize I don't save too much.

The realization you speak of can be discouraging...but it doesn't have to be. You can start saving at any time and it doesn't have to be some grand amount, saving one dollar, euro, yuan, etc. is enough to get you moving toward larger goals. The biggest factor that influences success in saving money is changing your habits to actually set aside the money.

As for the poll, have you seen the bitcoin wealth poll we're also managing? We'd love to get your response on that one, here's the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1752664.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1752664.0)

I make around 160$ per month with current price which is about 900$. It's like minimal salary here, so I'm pretty satisfied with that earnings  :D

I think the poll was better to have more answers <200 <500 <1000 because in some countries $1000 is really a high income within a month while in some countries it isn't enough even to pay the rental. When are going to be published the results from these polls?

More options should be added to show how dire situation of some people is, after seeing preliminary results of this poll - poor people are attracted to BTC the most.

Great points here. If I had an opportunity to do it again, I'd add another category below $1,000. Thanks for the feedback.

One question I have from those that are earning under $1,000 a month is how old are you? and where are you from? I think this may tell us something about the 65% who have responded that earn less than $1,000 monthly. And that may be obvious - younger people tend to earn less money, etc.

Have you filled out Poll #1 and #2 on age and location? If not, I'd be grateful if you did.

I think the poll was better to have more answers <200 <500 <1000 because in some countries $1000 is really a high income within a month while in some countries it isn't enough even to pay the rental. When are going to be published the results from these polls?

Yes upon seeing that the choices in the poll is lack of those lower amount. That's what I want to suggest also, try to add some choices as most of us here are not earning higher than $1,000. And it's going to be not sure if you are just going to make it <$1,000 you must be specific for it so that many can participate. Actually I'm earning less than $1,000 combining my monthly salary, trading profit and other source of income.

Maybe you should just redo it already and lock this one, so that you can get the real results of your survey. Right now almost everybody is placing their vote on to $1,000 and up. It would better reflect the true state of the people in the forum. It's nice to have this kind of study, this would be useful for those people that create services for the community.

I am a house wife so what ever i am earning from bitcoin is the income i am earning , i am earning through signature campaign, doing altcoin trading and getting coins through give away and some i earn through sports betting, so all together i earn around $400 which is ok for me as my husband is also earning good.

Sadly, my income is less than $1000, or less than $200. I do not have a fixed job, so the source of income is very unstable, do signature campaign
, transactions, and the other is to help people write procedures.

Yes, certainly I am an bitcoin earner and also a trader. Even though I don't want to disclose my exact bitcoin earning per month, but it is definitely less than 1000 USD. Because I am a business consultant by profession and I have very limited time for trading.

I also earn little through various paid forum posting which eats up most of my free time. I have goal to save all the bitcoin for another 5-7 years, then I will sell all to buy something big.

My combined income from my day job and side jobs is less than $1000. But it's just fine since I am living in Asia where my daily cost of living is also small and since I am single, oh well, my income is just fine to me. Oh, speaking of single, I haven't seen a poll that asks whether we are single or a family guy.. Anyway, hope to see the result of this polls written. I am sure that it will be a good one.  :)

I am living in a third world country where you only need around $500 to live like a rich person. My salary is around $1000 per month and I am happy about that since I still have a small amount of money to use after buying daily needs. I understand that if I live in US or EU religion, I probably can not live with $1000 so that's why I feel pleasure with my income and where I am living now

You are right, this poll should be redone. And maybe next time should be done with lower interval like 500$. In our country 500$ is way more than the minimum wage but considering 1st world country have higher wages, it is a good interval to balance 3rd and 1st world country income. Maybe on the next poll we will have a better and precise results.

I am also earning below 1000$. But to be more precise it is just a bit above 500$. And that is already coming from multiple source of income. You need to be in a managerial level and above to be able to earn more than 1000$ in our country.

Are you asking how much I earn at my job or what I earn using my bitcoin?

I think the question is very unprofessional. I guess none of the member here will not get mad at me. I said it because in my side its very personal, like example; I'm so stupid if I said I earn 10btc every month. I'm just giving an open door for the scammer or hacker if I do that. Probably, earner is enough to know what the other's know about our profit.

I agree with the other: this poll is useless.
Income differs a lot from country to country. The cost of living differs a lot again.
Also the ones making the poll seem not to think out of the box: OP, if you would earn 10k, 15$ every month, would you spend your time on this forum, really?!

I agree with your point, in my country if you earn $200 you are an average earner. Most of these things depend on the standard of living in someone's country. So to get better result, it is better to differentiate the options into smaller range

I'm from Asia... I earn less than $1000 a month, but that doesn't mean that I have a poor life here since it is already a fine salary...I'm sure each of us has different answer... The poll also doesn't mean that when you earn smaller than $1000 you have a difficulty in surviving day to day, compared to those who earn more than that... It all depends on where you live and the cost of living there...  :)

since I am student so i didn't joined any full time job.I just earn around 300$ by signature campaign, trading and investing In ICO.Actually, most of the btc of my total income came from trading. And some from signature campaign and rest from investing on ICO.I also did mining before but couldn't get success.
