I think the bitcoin's price will now go up after some time being below $800 - may it be slowly.

It has shot up to $870 now. The price seldom moves slowly.
There is talk about it being related to Trump's inauguration, but I don't think that is the case.

Sorry but, how would it be related to Trump??

How the heck in world is it possible it rise from 800€ to 830€, i mean whats going on that the price rise up now again?? ??? ??? ???

after few slow days, the market needs to change.... up or down, and it seems that it chooses to go up.....

also FOMO when people saw the increase they decide to join the party and buy some bitcoins, this could also make the price to go up even more.

That or bitcoin is just doing what bitcoin does, like any other volatile currency.

It is all because Trump is going to be a president and chinese new year near by. The prices have just touched $900 a few minutes ago. It will continue to increase due to many reasons. The Chinese investors are buying Bitcoin again for the new year. Let's prepare for a new bubble this year  :P

Nothing is going on. As easy as the price goes up some times, that easy will it come down again. In that regard, current price increase doesn't say much as we very well may fall back $50 lower again. If this increase is somewhat of a start, then perhaps we might very soon see +$900 prices, but then again, how long will we sustain these levels. Don't forget that the closer we come to the $1000 level, the more nervous and anxious people get. They are constantly ready to press the sell button as they have their exchange page open nearly 24/7.

Bit coin will keep on moving up. I am very bullish on the long term. Incidental spikes and falls would happen but the average price will keep on moving up.

you shake the idiots out, take their coins out of their hands when they dump cheap and then take a couple of days to accumulate yourself and then let the price go up normally enjoying the profit the idiots helped you make.

well its showing good resistance today its keep slowly moving up and trying to established from point to point i'm very positive that it will move up and will try to comeback with 1k$ let see if how long it will take, the more positive we are the more movements will be created just keep buying and holding and don't allow see more downtrend again.

This is good news, we are near 900$ again. I do not know what is the reason behind this rally but I am liking it. I hope this rally is not another bubble and I hope the price will be stable on the top.

Just facing physiological resistances around $900 levels so breaking up that might lead to continuation of this rally. Hopefully Chinese markets would have been trading above $900 levels, but both bitstamp and bitfinex are trading below to that.

Things are returning to normal. Huobi is trading at about $7 higher than the western exchanges after being lower for almost 2 weeks. People are realizing that the whole thing was just hysterical panic induced by over-reaction to the PBOC rumors and exacerbated by the FUD storm from bears desperate for any drop in price.

It's no surprise that the bears kept mentioning $200 and $500 in their predictions of gloom. These were the great buying opportunities they missed out on in August 2015 and July 2016 and desperately wanted another chance at.

It is a good sight. It has shown that USA president has made some obvious effect on Bitcoin. After the 20 of January, the prices will increase significantly because we are about to see Donald Trump officially become the new President USA. We witnessed how Trump affect the economy when he won the election :) Soon, very soon guy. Bitcoin will reach $1000 again

One day people will learn not to sell their Bitcoin at the first sign of trouble. We've been through all this before.
Wise investors know these tactics and will continue to pick up some additional cheap coins.

I think no effect donald trump against bitcoin. I understand that today there are many people who consider trump will make bitcoin be bad. instead of looking for who is wrong, but we must be grateful for the increase in the current bitcoin. The beginning of well should continue to be maintained.

i didn't expect the price back to $600 however there is no steady in bitcoin price even someday the price back to $600 but do not guarantee after that will rise up but today it is rise up and almost reach $900 and after seeing analysis above me might be the pump still not over

The price hike was all about the holiday season and every year we are seeing a price increase during those time and that has nothing to do with the elections but since Trump is officially becoming the president it might make a difference in the price and then there are a other reasons for the price increase other than that.

Yes you're right, I also predict after Trump officially became president on January 20, bitcoin prices will slowly increase. There will be a lot of policies from Trump that will benefit bitcoin. Trump made a controversial policy that will affect the world economy, and this will indirectly make bitcoin prices increased slowly. We will see what will happen to the bitcoin after Trump officially became president.

This is a great news about bitcoin,slowly going up and surely to get the new ath. Hope i can earn lots of btc before bitcoin raeched the $10k. This movement gives  me strength to work hard in bitcoin.

It's just a market reaction to the sudden drop or what we all call the correction of it's price. Like a rubber band, the price was stretched to much when it reached $1,100 and because of that it sling shot down due to mass chaos of the price dropping. Now it is slowly going back to it's original shape and would stabilize at this price, probably.

Yes i also think same and actually price have already gained 6%+ rise within last 24 hour. We may now slowly move to $900 within this week and new ATH by mid of this year again.

That is correct, guy. it will continue to slowly rise up in this month and it will hit over 1,000$ next month after Trump is officially in his office .
if Bitcoin is under 700$-750$ so that is a great chance to buy more cheap bitcoins .

Trum's victory will likely have some impact on Bitcoin, but I don't think the impact will be as significant compared to the effect of other events. I think it all depends on the number of users who adopt the currency over the years, and this requires projects and marketing so that the currency reaches a larger number of people.

I think that the arrival of Bitcoin ETFs this year may bring benefits to Bitcoin. In addition, there are other projects being developed by major investors, such as Kim Dotcom, whose purpose is to facilitate the use of Bitcoin for mainstream adoption.

Bitcoin is back into normal but it will increase day by day just like past trend !

Much better to wait for the movement or better to sell % of your bitcoin and save your profit so that you can gain a profit every time the price was increase..

Personally, I don't believe bitcoin will steep that low, I believe that the price for this month will reach of high of 970$ and settle around 930-950$ for the next month of febuary and reach a low of 890$. I think it could reach, possibly, 700$ again but not for many months. This is just what I believe, most likely far from correct.

And now bitcoin price is at $881 dollars per 1 bitcoin i hope that this increase will be continue till he will hit 1000 dollars again or maybe more. But don't fall into trap sometimes or more investors are just making a profit bcoz soon they dump it again.

I too think there is no such relation between the inauguration and price variation. Now the price has increased to a better value after getting stable for a short time soon after the sudden decrease from the peak value. By the coming days can expect a steady increase in price.

I had assumed that this would happen. bitcoin prices now rising again, and look at the price of nearly $ 900 makes my heart very happy. I'm sure, a lot of people who hold his bitcoin waiting times like this. perhaps, bitcoin prices will rise back up to $ 1,000. but, it is only speculation.

Recent panic by people has indeed been calmed down, but it doesn't take much to get it back with another round of worthless FUD. Problem is that people take things for granted so easily. If they did some actual research first, where common sense also plays a crucial role, then people wouldn't start dumping like there is no tomorrow. I am already happy if we manage to settle above $1000 this year. Everything that comes on top of that will be seen as a welcome bonus.

I predicted that this will happen... the turmoil that were caused by the Chinese exchanges were just temporary. We did not need a crystal ball

It makes me happy too to see price moving up, we're gonna go above $1000 slowly and hopefully see new ath. slow rise is a really good thing.

   Slow rise is much better then fast pump, and after every dump we see how price recover on previous state. I'm positive about going back on 1000 $ eventually, we need to be patient for that. I'm holding me coins safe until that day come.

It's true. I was thinking the price could go down, but it looks stable now, going very slowly up, that is a good thing for the currency stability price. I think it's time to buy BTCs again, the price will hit $1000 again soon, and this time I think things will become more stable than weeks ago when it hitted near $1200 and dropped a lot. My thought now is time to buy, time to hold.

We are still in Early Adoptor/Smart Money investors phase, of course you should BUY and HOLD always. Never sell all your coins, work extra hours if you have to. We are far from mass adoption, no point taking large risks just yet.

There is the Chinese new year coming so that there will make sure the Chinese exchanges will not mess up with bitcoin's price until then. They have the day off from meddling into bitcoin's affairs for a little while when that celebration for them happens. As well as the American presidential welcoming on friday.

Indeed so we should observe the market carefully and check for some irregular behavior before doing an action.  Like what happen in the start of this year where Bitcoin hit $1,000 and higher upto $1,100+ it goes up fast and after sometimes, it goes down to sub $800.  I hope this time around, Bitcoin price will increase naturaly so that we are sure that the price is stable and won't collapse anytime.

The sudden drop is due to whales selling their bitcoins at the price of $1,100 and when they sold everything everybody followed suit. There was a mass dupe of the bitcoins and thus chaos ensued. Probably this is the correction we are all expecting and right now, it looks like it will stabilize at $900 and probably $1,000 depending on how the market will react.

I don't think that politic make so much effects on bitcoin price at this moment. As you say there is a lot of optimism in the air and it's not easy to be realistic in moments when price is moving up and down so fast.
Chinese new year will not make some big changes I think, storm passed and a I think we will be stable in this price for a while.

The sooner it moves up and sooner it will fall down, growth will be there with bitcoin but it will not stagnet at one price. Many people are keep saying that bitcoin is being controlled in china so it may vary according to market strategy who are controlling the bitcoin.

I also believe that the price has a great effect on China's latest happening.

The price of bitcoin is around $800-$900 right now. The price is easily decrease and increase right now, but looking from the graph, the price is increase slowly. I think bitcoin still moving up but just be careful about the drop.

We might see some ups and downs in near future but I don't think bitcoin will fall below $500 anytime in next period. Growth of bitcoin is directly linked with the user base of bitcoin and the correlation between demand and supply is the single crucial element which determines price of the bitcoin. Bitcoin will eventually reach new milestones but with many ups and downs on the price chart.

Sorry friend if I may justify me not talking about the victory Trump, but I talked after Trump became the president. I believe Trump policy will affect the world economy becomes unstable, and that there is potential for many people to go use bitcoin. Thus indirectly will make bitcoin prices to rise. I agree with you. The price of bitcoin is tied directly to the Fanbase of bitcoin. So, If more people, Organizations, and countries accepts and use Bitcoin either as an official payment method or as a currency like fiat, Then the price will become even more stable. right now, The price is going up and down because It is being controlled by whales.

Price bitcoin it looks up drastic today, I worry if the rise too drastic would plunging again to lowest level. Maybe after Chinese new year price will reach $ 1,000 or more.

The price had reached $1200, recent price is $873 after yesterday at $900.
Looking at this fluctuations trend may normal but any manipulation will affect to fall or rise.
Daily traders are in action to buy and sell as much as they could afford and that what it is right now.

So more of the consumers it has the more stable the price will be? Isn't that how other currencies are controlled but they are regulated right? Isn't that the only way bitcoin will be stable enough to have the price not shoot from left to right? I doubt anybody here on this forum wants that to happen. It is free market so we all have to accept it's unstability.

Why would they? This manipulation generates the large players millions in profits every year. I am sure if you was sitting in their position that you would do the same. It's not all that bad. If you have some level of market understanding in combination with trading experience, then you can benefit from this volatility as well. And I am sure if you figured out how to benefit from these price fluctuations, that you will change your way of thinking completely. It won't be a negative aspect anymore.

The price is moving with a lot of nervousness in the range of 830-930. I do not know what will be the direction of the next big rally (I hope it is up again  ;D), but what I'm sure is that this uncertain behavior will not last for long.

Price in assets, currencies, or stocks not only move for technical or economical reasons, political news can affect the price of anything, when the news came Trump was leading the election the Mexican peso took a hit immediately and has lost value since then despite nothing has happen yet.

I hope so too, let us see what will happen next.  As far as I can see it, when the price move upward, accumulation phase of some group is done and now they are waiting for it to go up, so we can expect a rally now.  I hope market don't turn bearish after this accumulations and corrections.

Lots of us is monitoring the movements of btc as we are all knew that certain fluctuations will keep happen and theres no exact barrier with the price and most of whales are really playing in good positions so we need to be extra careful and always play in a positive way never sell when you are at lost because price will bounce back as expected.

the price is not going to up for a while because i see in the poloniex and bitstamp, the price is not yet reach more than $900 and now its down a little. i hope that the price will go up soon before the end of january. if we see in the chart, the price is up and down in many time and the line is flat line, i am a little confusing to predict where the price want to go.

it is because you saw the result of the rise not from the start.
if you were a trader and checking the price every minute you could clearly see the price rise starting from lower $800 to $850 and then by the mid day it was $880 and finally the price you saw the $900

anyways it was a nice rise and good test showing market is ready for the rise and it was a good short term opportunity to make some profit for the next accumulation phase.

Exactly, now bitcoin is $892, its mean bitcoin will be again come cross $900. I don't know why people said that Trump is the reason of bitcoin price going to up, But in my thinking it is not because the previous years bitcoin has been come cross at $800 to $1000. So in that time, Trump was not here, but China still control it. So let see what happen in this year, because me and you only could predict but future tell us what will be the reality. 

Bitcoin price is slowly moving upward as mentioned by most of the beneficiaries, at the same recent growth too have gained increase in value of the altcoins that are in use. This has made more users to invest on those altcoins for a better profiting as in few coins the value has got doubled but the volatility still in the high rise.

Well it is better to have a slow and steady movement rather than that surge uptrend then  steep fall.  It is scary to most of the holder especially those who are new to bitcoin.
Well those who are good in altcoin trading will profit for sure but those who are not familiar is more likely will gonna fail and have losses during fluctuation.

It's always the beginners that find themselves in the losing position as they don't know what to do. And if they know what to do, it only lasts for a day, where after that they once again change from strategy. In that regard, you can't really call them holders. If you talk about holders, and I am referring to people with balls of steel, then no matter what happens, they won't freak out if the price moves big time into a certain direction. Even stronger, if the price heads down big time, they buy up more coins to bring down their average buying price, where the profit in the end will be even greater. That's how it should be done.

After the recent slump thanks to China the Bitcoin is finally moving in a better direction for good. And tomorrow is a very important day, will the Bitcoin move up or down on trump coming to white house. Will he say something nasty for Bitcoin or will it just be another day. Very much excited to see what he does for the Bitcoin community. Who else votes it goes up.

Agree! dude! like few weeks ago a really fast raising of the price of bitcoin and now what happen? it is low like what we are expecting! I do agree that slowly but surely! and very stable, now we could say that it is not really stable because sometimes it drops and it pumps like now it is pumping but later on it drops

Wow, its now pumping up and it goes very well of its price and most users were happy for the positive movement of btc price now it moves up with a tiny fluctuations. Some users were having little worries with last weeks price decrease but others were happy as they have opportunity to buy, and now they gained after the price shows good response on buy and sell of bitcoin.

I suppose the good thing about speculating low barriers is that even if those bottom limits are met, the pressure for upward pricing will be even greater.

$500 would be such a bargain for newcomers to get a bit of coin and see it appreciate quickly. And there will be even more newcomers in 2017!

I think that we are going to see a double-top in the movements of markets before everything gets settled down and price gets into stable situation.
We may even see something huge ahead, but a double-top is confirmed with the ongoing movements based on fundamentals.

The movement of the price right now is normal because the price is low they are just waiting again for the price increase again back..  above $1k value and i think they will dump again once the price or goal was hit at $1200 and panic sell again..

I wont be surprise if the crowning of the new president has no effect of bitcoin. It is predicted that the rate of technological development could slide below uncertainty level at his time, there is look out to his response on that subject in coming weeks. And bitcoin is one of the newest tech

With proper analysis it is possible to realize that, in fact, the uptrend is much more significant than the downtrend. I don't see problems with the fact that there is slower growth this time.
In general, slow and steady growth would be better than a rapid and unsupported high in the market, as occurred a few weeks ago.

It`s like since the beginning, when was bitcoin stable for more then 2 weeks? Bitcoin price is working all the time, and nothing strange that we will see same situation again in the future, by the way traders earn money on this. Well trained scheme, some big players moving the market to suit their own desires and business plans. Well if you can`t win, join them and try to make money from that like they do.

Don’t worry there is going to be lots of opportunities to profit from the movement in the price of bitcoin since this year promises to have lots of changes thanks to the election of Trump as the US president.

I think that was when I just learned about bitcoin. Too bad I'm hesitant that time to buy some fraction of BTC. Now I wish I had bought even 0.1 BTC that time. :)

This year Bitcoin is likely to attract many investors, but this is not going to be a consequence of Trump's victory. This will be a consequence of new projects that may be developed on top of Bitcoin. In fact, many of these projects are already under development, but it's difficult to know the exact date on which they will be delivered.

You are correct right now their are so many good project are going through with the new Coin developers and as soon as their projects are finished we can see a big movement in the bitcoin as their will be lot of trading will start and it will surely affect bitcoin price , which side it will go that dont know.
