Moderators don't often delete threads on request. You can lock them, and move your own threads to the archival section if you want them out of the way so to speak. If they are spam or something, you can report them and a moderator will handle it. *edit* Threads moved to Archival, topic closed. Usually moderators come there and give proper reply if you give details about your problem.
