Antminer's miners are pretty much stand alone if you exclude the power supply. All you need is to connect them to a network and you're good to go.
You'll still need power supplies, power outlets, switches/routers.

You should be aware that unless you have close to free electricity, your project might not be profitable.

It looks like S7's are going on amazon for about $500 ea plus shipping, so around 525.  That means you can buy about 10 of them and the APW3 for $120 ea.  Then you should just need one 24 port switch and some shelving.  The S9 might be a better choice for you, or convert your 10k to bitcoin and buy from the forums, as buying with USD is way overpriced.  Either way, you will need one of those PSU's per S7.

$500 for an S7 is way too much at this point. I wouldnt buy one for over say $300 max. If you are buying then in bulk you shouldnt have too much trouble finding a decent price.

He said he had 10k USD, not bitcoin. Where are you going to buy them in bulk for USD?

What does it matter when you can just buy the bitcoin if thats all the seller accepts? Thats the whole point of a fungible currency, you can convert it whenever you want.

Also he just said he has 10k, he didnt mention if it was USD, CAD, RMB, or anything else.

It also doesnt change the fact that S7s are not worth $500 a piece used.

if your electricity is not very cheap i would buy 5 anminers s9 with 10k invested, they cost 2k each new, or you can try to buy 1 more by buying second hand stuff, it should cost $1500 if already used...

since they are the top miners they will have a better resale value than other, the roi time is still tough though...
