I am planning to buy even a 1 avalon https://canaan.io/product/avalonminer-741/ Do you think guys i can mine 24/7 without aircon? or should i need aircon We have here in the philippines 78-83 degree fahrenheit not cold. I don't know the max temp of either of those miners off the top of my head but as long as you have good airflow and it's not sitting in the sun, they should be able to run just fine. You should work all of these numbers out ahead of time, it's a fair amount of work and research but it must be done unless you want to take a big risk in something not working out the way you wanted. You would probably be OK if you could point a simple 20" box fan at the miner air intake bringing in fresh air. Ideally, you would have another fan exhausting the hot air to the outside. You MAY have to down-clock the miner a little, but that is just going to have to be trial and error. I have run my S7's and S9's during the summer here where the outdoor temperature was at or above 90 degrees F. As long as I kept the air circulating and expelled the hot air from the room, the miners did fine with mostly NO under-clocking. On days where the temp was in the high 90's, I usually under-clocked the S9's to be on the safe side. Not sure about Avalon as I have never owned one. Good luck and let us know what happens! :) |
