Response:

"- As stated before, Crowdsale 1 will take place prior to the February release of Spout’s Android version, official app launch, and integration of Counterparty-compatible wallet. As a result, participants are expected to consist primarily of existing Spout stakeholders and others in the community familiar with the app and our plans. So escrow is not something most purchasers will care about. It's a relatively small amount of Bitcoin involved and there aren't really any milestones to add as conditions of release. Escrow wouldn't be difficult to do actually but wouldn't really offer any substantive protections for Crowdsale 1 participants.

- We do have an IOS app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/spout-anonymous-local-chat/id1144767617?mt=8) and are working on testing the Android version currently. The Android version will be released concurrently with the official public announcement of the app.

- The website is basically a placeholder and will be updated in February in advance of the main crowdsale (Crowdsale 2).

- Info on the team will be included in the Whitepaper released in a few days.

- Re; whitepaper; again this will be released this coming Monday (Jan 23rd) at the latest."

is bad coin
total suply is big 10 billion coin, and create only use counterparty asset
spoutcoin price only 5 satoshi , and sending fee in counterwallet, minumum balance 50k satoshi, and minimum sending fee 30 - 60k satoshi
and counterparty asset only support in internal exchanger (fee transaction 50k)
poloniex and bittrex, if want added to poloniex and bittrex must excellent coint

so after ico selling maybe can run and nothing added exchanger, only internal exchanger in counterwallet

Anyway if a coin is a scam it will still be a scam even after the addition on poloniex or bittrex...

If there is no team listed, or if the devs have fairly new accounts, you can be sure the coin is at best, dodgy. Of course, the LetitRide people escaped those shenanigans by buying well-reputed accounts. They also kept calling it decentralised; but it was just a gambling website with a pump and dump scheme.

Not worth to invest for If the supply changed to 100 million. Even if this will be added in trading site like poloniex, bittrex, and C-cex this will not pump up. Another shit coin, not worth to invest in. Goodluck for spoutcoin.

The was very questionable, there announcement is not very clear, something that are not visible to the community in this forum. If that's the case, I think better to keep distance on this coin for the meantime. Still let see where this campaign headed to.

Total supply has been changed to 100 million.

Total supply 100 million for what exactly? Even bitcoin itself is on the maximum of like maybe 25 million. Part of what will increase the value of any thing is artificial scarcity and what does it intend to achieve by having excess and the next thing after being listed on the exchange site is that it will be flooded thereby driving its price down to a point it might be impossible to get up from when there is absolutely excess supply of the coin itself...

When Spout officially launches, I get a minimum 10x ROI so no.

A general rule of thumb for altcoins I like to follow is that if it's not called "Bitcoin" and it doesn't explicitly advertise itself as a shitcoin then it's not legit. So no- Spoutcoin isn't legit.

Looking at this project, almost everything is wrong, the first thing to look for in an ICO is a credible and trusted Escrow, once there is none just run, there will always be another project to invest into

There is escrow, just not for the small pre-sale.
