Nevertheless, defying marketing orthodoxy, Bitcoin outperformed fiat currencies for two years in a row.

The bad reputation was built on the
mistakes of small percentage of individuals and groups within the Bitcoin user base. We have events like Silkroad and Mt Gox hanging over our heads, even though the majority of Bitcoin users are law-abiding citizens. This bad reputation is also fuelled by Shills and misinformed media looking for a bit of sensational news. ::) |
