If you actually mean GPU, then you should visit the Altcoin sub-forum and read over there. For direct mining of Bitcoins, both CPU and GPU mining are no longer cost effective. But, if you are really want to build such machine i would suggest the cheapest i7 you can find (because of advanced instructions support), i7-6700 might be a resonable choice.
