I would like to give the wider cryptocurrency/blockchain community an update on the progress Crypto Books has been making over the past few weeks.  Some people may know me as the author "Christopher Thompson" of a series of books on crypto histories.  I am grateful for all the support over the past couple of years from a multitude of individuals and groups.

At the moment, I am compiling research for a history book about Ethereum.  I am slightly disappointed about the lack of support from the Ethereum community.  I have already written rough drafts of six chapters (30 pages) spanning the period from inception to the 30th of July 2015 (just before the release of the command-line driven Frontier).  These chapters are:

0 - Initial History of Ethereum (Nov 2013 - 22nd Jan 2014) 4 pages
1 - Announcement of Ethereum (23rd Jan 2014 - 21st Jul 2014) 10 pages
2 - Fundraising Began (22nd Jul 2014 - 12th Nov 2014) 6 pages
3 - Ethereum ÐΞVCON-0 in Berlin (13th Nov 2014 - 31st Dec 2014) 6 pages
4 - Progress towards the Genesis Block (1st Jan 2015 - 30th of July 2015) 4 pages

These chapter titles are still preliminary.  Chapter 5 (the sixth chapter!) will be titled "Ethereum Blockchain Launched (Frontier)".  I already have a rough timeline of many milestones after the launch of Frontier including DEVcon 1, the Homestead release, the DAO coverage and the subsequent forks in the blockchain.

As well as the Ethereum book, I have been writing other books about cryptocurrencies such as Diamond, Sativacoin, Monero, Mooncoin.

This seems like a very good idea to create a book of this compilation. but I see the price is too high for the price of the book that you create it. I suggest you should open a promotional price for the initial price, so that everyone does not look surprised at the price that you give it. :D

make crypto book is a very good result, it is better you write about your understanding of cryptocurrency language and explains what is useful for things like bitcoin or maybe it could be helpful for beginners who do not understand the meaning of cryptocurrency. My only advice only. ;D :D

I support your opinion. These books should be more cheaper for everyone, so that all people including those from the poorest countries could joined the cryptography.
The idea of the auction seems appropriate!

The idea of creating a book is just really cool. It sold would be a great Edition and even selling it for a nominal fee, people who write rich by. I would myself gladly bought such a book. Earnings from the books would have been much more if it translated into the major languages of the world. Thus people in crypto world and author of the book will earn:)

This is a great idea. You will probably be one of the first people to take this initiative, as I have not seen similar services on the forum in the last few years. Certainly there are many people interested in spreading information about their cryptocurrencies, so it is likely that they will be interested in the possibility of a book for their cryptos.

yes I look forward to my publisher must compensate those who have no knowledge about it, so that everyone can read and understand cryptography, not just the upper class who want to understand, but those who can not afford even want to know about the meaning of cryptography, ;D ;D

I'd be happy to have bought such a book. I am too far from still understand in the crypto. Want to know more. But sometimes it is so difficult to say that it is very difficult to understand. And if there was a book where everything is explained, it would be easier for many.

I support you but firstly they need to release the book on bitcoin before entering in crypto currency, because today bitcoin is more popular when compared to other crypto currencies. Even there are many articles in online about bitcoin but people will show interest towards it.

I think it should not replace a book about bitcoin, either mix it into some crypto and bitcoin into 2 parts, I think it would be better for people who do not understand about it.

This is amazing and i think it will be also available locally in the future.. and added in books for school study..
And i hope it will be added in many school to added for their subject since there is books right now for crypto currency it can help more people will know the potencial of cryptocurrency..

I am also interested that this knowled about digital currency spread across the globe. I would like to cryptos had the same popular and well-recognized as the dollar, euro or the pound sterling.

I thought now. The book is great. But maybe there are on the Internet some information about BitCoin? I mean not different articles and a website where you can learn everything. Something similar to book only on the Internet. I would read. But whether the book is not known. And look for bit by bit on the Internet for a long time. It would be good to find all in one place. Do not share such a website if it is?

just add a new chapter:

1: Ethereum Assets, Tokens, their Features and Usage,
   This chapter should cover all etherum based tokens and assets, and their features and specifications etc.

It seems to me that this book should be more Vilnius old town that many people could afford to buy. Otherwise, the idea of the book will be available only to a small number of people.

That might also help others decide if they would like to take you on. Maybe even attract people like myself into engaging your services.

Yes. I too would like to see a sample before you buy it. And then talk about a book can be anything. But read it would be more interesting.
