Title: Best GPU to mine with at cheap electricity and "4GB vs 8GB" Post by: joerazor on January 22, 2017, 05:42:54 PM I was wondering which GPUs would you buy if you had $20,000 to invest in mining equipment and cheap electricity at a flat rate of $0.05/kw
Would you invest in RX480? Or go for 470/460 GPUs? Would you buy 8GB cards or 4GB cards? if youre not a gamer better invest on a specialized machine where it has to do with mining bitoin. somehow this machine helps you to earn and at the same time has a low rate of electricity bill. Best value at the moment. I am able to get the 480 4G version for the same price of the 470 4G.... Should I still go with the 470 4G card? I know this might sound as a stupid question but I see everyone recommending the 470 so I just want to make sure I put my money in the right place. Cheers Well if you can get them for same price go for 480 then. Reason why everyone recommend 470 over 480 is because price difference does not justify performance increase of 480. and you also got cheap electricity much better option to buy the RX480 its a bit faster but also uses a bit more electricity |
