Title: Something wrong with multibit or blockchain?
Post by: shkiser on April 14, 2013, 05:35:28 AM
I just tried to transfer a bitcoin to my wallet, and didnt show up. No biggie this has been happening frequently so reset transactions and blockchain and rolled it back a cpl days. It downloads and syncs with current, and still not there! what else can I do?

I would check that it is on the blockchain (perhaps with blockexplorer.com)

If it is happening frequently it could be that you have a large amount of dust in your wallet(s) and the fees are too low for the size of transactions you are sending. A typical transaction with a couple of inputs and a couple of outputs is 500 or 600 bytes. If you have a transaction significantly bigger than that that contains dust you might have to bump up your fee to get it relayed.

Good stuff !

It can just be that it takes a while now for transactions to confirm.

understandably.. Was just kinda freaked as they usually deposit almost instantly and begun to confirm
