Post by: maku on January 23, 2017, 06:54:09 PM I am not a fan of government interventions, they suddenly will try to label everyone using cryptocurrency a potential criminals.
They want to introduce pretty harsh wallet regulations: "All countries are advised to regulate Digital Currencies Exchangers and Wallet Providers under their current Anti Money Laundering". If that happens then era of online wallets will be gone. Title: Re: [2017-01-22] Recommendations From A Global Conference On The Use Of Digital C... Quote All countries are advised to take action against Digital Currencies Mixers/Tumblers. Such services are designed exclusively to anonymize transactions and to make it impossible for Law Enforcement Agencies to detect and trace suspicious transactions. The existence of such companies should not continue to be tolerated; I am so thankful for learning how to use onion servers for mixers. First you have to find the server to remove it. It always amazes me how fearful any Gov is when they lose absolute control over anything. I see some point in their concerns, but what about the person that just wants to safely hold BTC and be completely anonymous while doing so? If it became known the "Mr. John Smith" has 100 Bitcoins he now has a huge target on his family. A $100,000.00 liquid asset, which that would be, is something you could get killed over. Its not a joke. Title: Re: [2017-01-22] Recommendations From A Global Conference On The Use Of Digital C... Post by: ArticMine on January 24, 2017, 06:55:54 AM From the article in the OP
Quote All countries are advised to consider the creation of the crime of unexplained wealth ... Ever heard of innocent until proven guilty? I suspect this will attract the attention of constitutional lawyers in many parts of the world. Title: Re: [2017-01-22] Recommendations From A Global Conference On The Use Of Digital C... Post by: Idrisu on January 25, 2017, 08:16:09 PM From the article in the OP I strongly believe no force can stop bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies. Instead of them try to find out how legalized and regulate it,they planning on how to criminalized it.The only crime bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies commit is that is decentralized and the evil elite cannot control it. I pray that trumps that is seen in favour of bitcoin will do something very fast before this people execute they plan.Quote All countries are advised to consider the creation of the crime of unexplained wealth ...
