Title: Question for Lenders
Post by: squatz1 on January 24, 2017, 04:00:24 AM
I've always seen people always go ahead and find the address of someone who is trying to get a loan on here as I highly doubt people are going ahead and going on the persons last posts and going through all of the bitcoin addys posted.

Anyone know the site in which they use and thanks for finding it for me if so!

http://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info

When you use the normal token and not the merchant it lists all the bitcoin addresses posted from the account on the forum.
It even tells you if it is a possible staked one or just an address for a giveaway or whatever.
Pretty precise piece of profiling software they created. ;)

Lionidas,

it is far from precise, but waaay better than wild guesses and accusations that were here before. Perhaps some sort of community funding should be provided for the original developer, so he can continue his work?

That project can potentionally save alot of people money, time and effort.

This is dedicated thread to account pricer and staff member "Achow101" is the developer. He even goes as far detailing process that goes into estimating (take notice that it is still only estimation, not rock proof statement) account XY. Be sure to give him thumbs up (atleast), if you find value in his work. Credit where credit is due.

Ah completely forgot that the merchant part of the pricer even existed and could be used to find btc addresses through it, thanks for this and I would consider this thread to be done.

Thanks a ton for helping!

I will tell you a simple hack :
Open : - https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/
Put the profiles UID and search for that member.

It will list out all the statistics including all the addresses posted by that profile.Open the links in new tabs and see their actual and oldest posted addresses.

Just a word to the wise, that tool's estimates are not really accurate. You have to create your own criteria for judging the value of the account. The estimates in that tool is over prices and will not be the true price of any account. You may use all other parts of the information it produces though.

I believe, one way to make the calculator more precise would be to take into account quality of posts behind activity of the user.

For example posts with more than 120 characters (minus smilies, quoted text and gifs) would count differently from those that lack them. Same with statistics, member who writes 90% of posts in say... gambling sections would have different value than member that wrote third into development, third into economics and the rest all across the pond.

Just my two cents.

I am sorry to interrupt here, but I would say that I seriously don't believe in anything that Calculator says... :)
It has its own "set" attributes based on which it evaluates someone's account to be worth whatever it shows there, but I seriously don't believe it because the market can't be set based on a bot's thinking, we can just get an evaluation there but can't really rely on it... :)

Maybe you need to use that application properly. All the stats shown by the calculator are accurate except for the posts quality and the account prices.Lenders certainly can't rely on that but they can find the first listed address easily.Btw is ironic that you are commenting here :p You have been a loan defaulter multiple times.

Have had been, now I am going to become Da Ultimate Lender here...
Just watch out... ;) I am giving loans based on trust and some other measures that I take into consideration... :)
Though the calculator provides much important information, I still can't rely upon it completely when it comes to evaluating something in monetary terms...
