Title: MtGox mistakes YubiKey with OTP (resolved) Post by: zby on April 14, 2013, 01:00:14 PM When I try to withdraw anything (bitcoins via codes or define a bank transfer beneficiary) the forms ask for a YubiKey or OTP - I use YubiKey so I touch it and it sends a code into the form - but then I always get an "Invalid OTP" error. Has anyone encountered this? And yes - I just sent a help request to MtGox - but I'd like to know if I am the only one with this problem - it looks like something pretty fundamental for all YubiKey users.

Thanks! This worked. I am surprised - because for logging in I use the quick touch and I get in. Title: Re: MtGox mistakes YubiKey with OTP (resolved) Post by: aantonop on April 14, 2013, 05:37:00 PM For clarification:
Yubikey has TWO built in keys, the "short press" and the "long press" key. So by pressing and holding for more than 2-3s it actually sends a different key The MT.Gox security app has set one key (short) to login, and the other (long) for withdrawal. |
