Title: BIPCOIN (BIP) on Indiegogo crowdfunding, should we invest?
Post by: RazX on January 25, 2017, 12:07:02 AM
Hi guys, BIP coin seems quite promising, low marketcap (50 000$), big dreams - with real afford from developers behind it:

What do you think? Should we buy or not?

It seems like his crowdfunding isn't becoming success soon.
But why is he not try to join on the bitcointalk announcement section?.

corection bip coin marketcap is very low, not 50k dollar, but only 1.9 bitoin or equal 1700 dollar not 50k dollar
and bip coin only accepted in cryptopia market
is price over 6k satoshi, volume transaction is low and not big market, is not good investment, but much coin and hold is bad

The dev has cancelled the crowdfunding campaign.

UPDATE 8 hours before campaign was over:
BipCoin, alive and well. But Dot-Bip decentralized DNS is not happening. I refunded everyone's money. Did it now before campaign is over. From what Indiegogo told me, it seems like it's easier now than after campaign is over.

Price crash incoming.

Dev did a crowdfunding campaign to get some money so that DNS can be added to coin. No one was interested in contributing the money so no DNS just another cryptonote coin.

I'm the dev. FYI, it's not true that "No one was interested in contributing the money." I raised $1125 USD, but that wasn't nearly enough, so I refunded everyone's money a few hours before the Indiegogo was over. That's why it says zero raised on Indiegogo.

The methodology described in my whitepaper
https://bipcoin.org/ASSETS/WP/Dot-Bip_whitepaper.pdf
is solid, and I hope someone with more resources will take it up with a different coin. I basically recommend a non-CryptoNote coin, even though conventional blockchains don’t offer anonymity. Because it’s easier to get non-CryptoNote coins on a lot of exchanges without paying. And to be decentralized it would require being on many exchanges.
