Post by: Sentinelrv on January 25, 2017, 05:24:21 PM
This is an official announcement on behalf of the Peercoin community. The peercointalk.org forum has been placed into read-only mode and all its contents, threads, posts, user accounts and login credentials have been migrated over to talk.peercoin.net. We hope that the new Discourse forum software will provide a more engaging user experience for our community. Thank you!

Good luck for your up-gradation. I like your new forum software. But I have noticed that the older forum is not turned to read only mode but its url will redirect you to the new domain of the forum and everything is available there. by the way that is great.
I am asking a personal question that is that the software which bitcointalk is going to adopt in the future or it is your own custom software for your forum?

Sorry for the late reply. The forum was originally placed into read-only mode, but then the forum admin started redirecting the old domain. We're still trying to sort out a couple issues with the redirection. If anyone wants to visit the old forum, it can now be done at the following link...

Also, the forum software we're using is Discourse, which you can find here...
