Post by: 600watt on January 25, 2017, 07:10:42 PM
i cannot find any info about huobi. does anyone know what is going on?

edit: iīm not suggesting they went offline. huobis trading data seems to be not included on various sites like bitcoinity. donīt panic. but still fishy.

That's indeed the best solution. It seems that something is wrong with Huobi's API as there isn't a single charts site that is displaying their information. If you look at Bitcoinwisdom, they have even replaced Huobi's ticker with OKCoin's ticker. But that doesn't change much since these exchanges tend to move identically. I only think it's weird that Huobi isn't saying anything about this. No information as to why their API is out.

Let's just hope this minor API outage won't cause bitcoin price to drop even more. Chinese traders are very allergic to even slight trace of negative news.
They might think that Huobi is closing or something and start their standard panic selling.  :-\

Now bitcoinwisdow has replaced the Huobi chart for the OkCoin. And its a surprise, the volume now on the chinese markets its so low, even lower than Btc-E.

if was something was wrong then probably the chinese would already have panicked and caused a dump

probably the explanation has been sent by email or is hidden somewhere in the news, that are not translated to english

Huobi, one among the largest bitcoin exchange in China. Now due to the recent inspection it went in a visible mode without much active trades. The main focus of the inspection was just to know the volume of bitcoin. Once after this most exchange websites have levied 0.2% of fee based upon the volume.
