Title: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction?
Post by: instacalm on January 28, 2017, 06:44:11 PM
Do you remember what it felt like the very first time you sent out a Bitcoin transaction to another address in your life? For some, it might have been an easy thing to do, especially for the geeks who were here when Bitcoin was born and it had not been valued and traded against fiat currency as following soon after, yet for others it can be very confusing to get things right.

Were you filled more with happiness, excitement or fear when you clicked that 'send' button? And in which year was it when that happened? Did it it turn out just fine, did your transaction arrive where intended?

It was a long time ago, somwhere in 2013 but I remember that I was very exicted and afraid at the same moment because I wasn't sure if I'm doing everything right, will the transaction reach destination or will I lose my coins. I was new Bitcoin users and I felt like I'm part of something brand new and revolutionary. It felt good.

I remember reading for hours and hours how it worked and sent myself a few cents. I was scared I was going to screw it up and lose the bitcoins I finally had figured out how to collect. Wasted some time in faucets just so I didn't have to invest anything. In hindsight I'd've just bought $10 worth and screwed around with them rather than wasting hours on faucets collecting portions of pennies at a time hahahahaha!

I first send it in the latter half of the year 2016. I had entered into my first ever transaction. I just did not know how it would work, the guy had sent some address and I was trying to wonder how and where it would fit. After googling for a while, finally figured where to input the address. Since I was sending a big amount for the first time, I was bit nervous finally hit the send button, and contacted to the other person and he is like he did not receive it. Imagine my horror and the few panicky hours post that. Thanks to God, he finally replied he received it, and I came to know this transactions take time, can never forget it.

I'm not really sure when is the first time I sent a Bitcoin and what was it for, but as far as I'm aware is that my first transaction was sent to bought an airtime credit for my phone. And of course I was really nervous that time, I didn't want to make a mistake because I was scared that I would send my Bitcoin to the wrong address or with a wrong amount. That's why I checked the address again and again, and also the amount of the transaction.
And luckily, it ended well for me. The transaction wasn't sent to the wrong address and the amount wasn't wrong, then I successfully bought an airtime credit for my phone.

At first, I was very nervous doing it, because I was told any mistake made cannot be reversed, so I need to read the instruction several time before clicking send, but excited when I saw the transaction confirmed. A very good experience of have

I was mostly nervous since I knew that if I did a mistake I will never see my coins again so I checked the transaction over and over again I even checked if the address was correct, and then I hit send after some minutes it got a confirmation and that is when I realized how easy it was to use bitcoin.

That is what I experienced also, I was so nervous cashing out my first ever earned bitcoin it is just same feeling during my graduation day, although it is just small amount I am proud that I earned bitcoin with that I became more interested in earning more bitcoin especially in trading. Yes, I don't earn yet from trading now but I am looking forward for it in the future.

I first sent some bitcoin to an investment site and  it was a mix emotion of excitement and fear,
I was excited cause it was my first investment and I was afraid it might be scam or I might have sent it to a wrong btc address.

I don't quite remember the first time I sent my money away but the very first time I make a transaction to buy coffee is etched in my memory. It was a few months ago when I found a coffee shop that accepts bitcoin and decided to give it a try. It was an exciting experience to make a bitcoin transaction in reality after a long time earning it, I was like a kid getting his candy for getting good grades  ;D

Well, I am very happy at the delivery, and certainly it amounts to very little. but it is my first bitcoin transaction, and it is the first time I do transactions on the Internet. so, I still remember it.

I can't remember the exact date/time when i have sent my first bitcoin out of my wallet, but i think i have sent it to gambling platform to play some dice. At that time price per coin was around 300$ and i have lost so much bitcoin those days in dice site, i actually feel sad when i think about it.

well at least i leanred about exchange(sent to kraken at that time) tx fee and everything, was more of a test than dumping actually

I do remember the first time making the transaction. From the wallet created in Blockchain.info I send an amount of 0.001 btc to the friend who introduced me to bitcoin with the auto fee option. Instantly on seeing the transacted amount under unconfirmed transaction got to know what bitcoin wallet is all about.

Time passes very fast, it was on 15-12-05 that I received my first satoshi, they were 0.00010752 BTC.

Do you remember what it felt like the very first time you sent out a Bitcoin transaction to another address in your life?

For me it was normal

I spent days to gather significant amount of satoshi and when I sent bitcoins to someone. Was normal, the fact that I spend all day entering my wallet, collecting satoshi in faucets, made me somehow gain experience.

One thing I consider good ... use faucet! If you use faucet for a few days and you have wallet of blockchain.info. You will not have trouble sending bitcoin to anyone.

First time I had to pay online with bitcoin because the other payment options were not convenient for me I knew so little about this payment system and nothing about confirmation times. So I bought my coins through localbitcoins and before open my first wallet I paid and the bot of the site answered something like " to wait for a while and drink a cup of coffee". It was so weird because I thought it was a complicated process. So when the shop accepted my payment after a while I understood the potentiality of bitcoin as internet money.

The very first time I sent a transaction: it was here on bitcointalk, to whitelist this account. I remember it was 0.00007756 btc by that time and I thought it was a scam of some sort. But after understanding everything I was able to send the money and start joining in discussions. That 7.7k satoshis helped me gain knowledge with bitcoin more than what a Google search could offer.

But either was to test how wallet works, or to receive some payment for something.

Couple years ago,i seen an video in youtube that guy is making money just by leaving computer on 24 hours a day, then i tried to mine bitcoin with my computer, i felt that i was wasting my  time because at the time already faster bitcoin mining chips was in the game, i got couple satoshies then i transfered them to blockchain wallet just for curiosity, again i felt that i was wasting my time, more years passed and now i make a living from bitcoin, most governments try to keep you down when you start business, they take allot of profit, well there's good rules in United Kingdom, people can not pay taxes years, it gives them time to become profitable, but with bitcoin i pay no taxes, i want to become bigger player to start paying them, i will not pay anything untill i earn a couple millions in bitcoin and have local business.

Well I would say it was nerve cracking moment because I wanted to see how it was going to reflect in my account that I've sent it and it was actually to pay for a sports bet and it did go through as I expected and the rest they say its history. I've been transferring and receiving with ease and confidence.

I can't remember the first transaction that I did but the feeling is the one that I can't forget. And in fact, I'm always feeling that way when I'm sending bitcoins to other address. I feel scared because I'm thinking that I might get wrong for copy and pasting the bitcoin address that I need to send. And it's get more scary when I read some statement here that they were tricked upon copying their address, when pasting a unique and other one showed up. I don't know if that is for real or just a troll.

Sure I can remember it as it can be tracked through my first bitcoin address. My first was few years ago when I sent some bits from my blockchain wallet to an exchange wallet.
I was so happy at that time because that's the first time I could exchange my collected bitcoin from faucet, giveaways, and others into fiat money. Even though the amount was not that big but the happiness is more than the amount ;)

Yes I remember that first transaction which I made. It was the beginning of my adoption when I got some amount of bitcoin in my wallet and then I decided to sell them on exchange and to use it for my needs to feel the use of bitcoin as a currency. So I send that amount from my wallet to exchange.

I really don't, because when I got bitcoin qt, I had 0 BTC.

What's funny is, the first cryptocurrency I ever used was Dogecoin. I was lucky to mine like half a million DOGEs back in the day. I sold them for like 0.5 BTC, that was a great deal, I was lucky enough to get involved in the early days of mining that coin.

Since then, I didnt bother with mining.

So sending those DOGEs to the Cryptsy exchange was my first crypto transaction experience ever. I will always remember DOGE.

Yeah i can still remember the first time I sent my Bitcoin to an exchange address.  I was worried that I might do it wrong and my BTC gone.  The moment I sent the amount, I checked the exchange but crediting is a bit delay so I did not see the transaction, that worries me much but then I check blockchain.info and I was relieved to see that I just send the Bitcoin to  the right address.

Yeah, I do.
It was a transaction to sports betting site and the match was about to start.
So after copying the address and sending the right amount, I was just keeping refreshing the blockchain transaction page looking for confirmations.
I can't remember when it was, but it was at least four years ago.

At first I was doing faucets so the money were transfered to my wallet automatically every week or so, without me doing anything. Then I managed to win over 100k sats on a dice gambling site and when I was withdrawing that amount that was my first bitcoin transaction. I remember that feeling of fear before hitting the button. I was afraid that the money might just disappear going to the wrong address. 100k was big money for me then, I had to work faucets for two weeks to get that amount.

I actually feared that I have pasted the wrong address and I will lose money. However I still fear to this day ,even though Base58 has like a 1 in biliion chance for not filtering out invalid addresses.

The odds are low but are still there. But a virus in your memory can still show you a wrong address, and you end up signing a transaction that you dont really want to. That is scary.

I remembered the first time after I had read a lot about bitcoin and the likes. It was the first time I would earn a sizeable amount to convert to Fiat. To say I was anxious would be an understatement. What added to it was the fact that when the coin has been sent, then its not reversible in which I was not ready to lose after considering the effort I had put in gathering at the end I was surprise by how fast and seamless it was then but now, I have learnt and now feel less nervous.

That is some what a similar case with me,i started bitcoin because of the ease to send money to gamble once in a while and the first transaction was to direct bet as i was interested in sports gambling at that time and with time i have changed my goals and aims but i still do gamble but transaction delays is a major factor now while playing live games. >:(

I think a lot of it was just saving up, and then I got some precious metals off of a website that was accepting Bitcoin at the time, and I think they still do right now. I should go check sometime.

I can't remember exactly when I send bitcoins first time and who was receiver. I only remember that I checked very carefully to be sure that I send to correct address and correct amount of bitcoins.

It's actually superb experience doing that for the first time. I used to send bitcoin for the frist time in a trading site named c-cex. In that case, that is also first time for me to trade in crypto currency exhcnange and that is the best moment in bitcoin. I was nervous at that time since I don't know if it would works or not because the confirmation is confirming so long, I gues because of volume of transaction of blockchain ir because of the trading site.

Mmm, yeh.  I was much in tha same noob boat at one time mahself.  Cain't remember the specifics, tho, an' it ain't important.  Ah tried it out wit' a faucet, I know that.  An' it weren't too long ago, neither.  Naw I'm sendin' bitcoin like thet ol' pro troll MANYPROOFS.  No relation.

Well, it was on 2014 if my memory serves me right.
I was afraid, anxious and confused at the same time.
Was checking over and over again to be sure that I am sending the money to the right address.
It proved to be okay, so I continue using BTC until now:)
Great experience.

I think my first time when i sent a Bitcoin transaction is in 2014 maybe in january or february!
My first transaction is generated by web wallet blockchain! Which i got few thousands of satoshis by playing games on android and BTC faucets.
Wish i start to send my gain to directbet for gambling. I enjoyed gambling.
Now i use Xapo. which there is no fees of transfers here.

I sent my first bitcoin transaction back in July 2015.
At that time i didn`t know the difference between a bitcoin, bit and satoshi.
I wan`t aware about confirmations and that kind of stuff.Anyway,it was awesome.
Cool, while your story is similar to the story of many of us I remember reading a story about someone sending a transaction of several bitcoin because he did not know the difference between a mBTC and a BTC.

The first time I sent bitcoin from a wallet to a exchange wallet feels nervous, I don't know if it will work or am I sending it at the right address. It takes me about few minutes to do my first transaction and I never thought that it was recorded in blockchain, so I really don't have an idea before that I can check the tx.  :D

After receiving the amount on my exchange wallet, I was amazed, and feels like I want to try it again.  :D

I remember that I was so nervous when I sent my first transaction from my desktop wallet. ;D I wasn't sure about the fee, I was afraid it was so low that I won't get any confirmations and my transaction will be in limbo forever. I didn't want to pay 20% fee on a small transaction (the amount my wallet suggested me to pay), so I lowered it to 5%. You can imagine how happy I was when I received over 60 confirmations within one or two hours and my payment was accepted within tens of minutes. :)

Oh well, my first bitcoin transaction was a success, I follow each step that I read in google... If I remember correctly the second transaction that I made was from Land of Bitcoin that time, which lately close and then faucetbox... But at first I really feel excited, and double checking the address if I write it correctly ( I really mean I check each letter and number ) to be sure...

After receiving it, I just want to keep on doing it if I have an amount until I learned that the price keeps on moving up and down, so I decided to send bitcoin atleast 2 weeks or more...  :D

I couldn't remember tho, as the first time i starts to use bitcoin is like 2 years ago i suppose. As compare to online banking where you xfer the $$, it is immediately xfer but bitcoin is a different level thing. Tbh, when the first time i sent i do feel unsafe because remember, there's no way for you to revert a transaction once you sent the money out, that's the fear whenever i sent btc to address of people.

I still remember it clearly the first time I sent a bitcoin to my bitcoin address , Actually It is not big ,it is more or less 0.001 which is the minimum payout in the faucet website I get into ! There is a big excitement in me when I first sent that to my address I thought I am going to be rich later did I found out that I didn't even earn half a dollar on my 3 months job thru faucet well it didn't stop me there until I found out about bitcointalk and earn a decent amount of bitcoin every week  !

The fear was exactly because of the same reason like yours, because when you do a mistake, you can't take it back. :P

Yes I remember clearly as it was a good learning curve at that moment.
For my first transaction I bought a coin, pretty huge for just testing it out now that I look back at it.
I checked everything multiple times, like reading the whole address and so. New to this I figured out it would take approximately 10 minutes before I got my coin as the average blocktime was 10 minutes. So I waited 10 minutes....
nothing....
waited some more....
nothing....
started sweating and recheck the address in my wallet and on the site I bought it, they were the same.
was I scammed?
still waiting...
nothing...
Something wrong with how do you call it the blockchain?
browsing... no news
still waiting...
confused...
Did I do something wrong?
still waiting.....

it took 97 minutes before next block was mined... and immediately i had my coin in my wallet... sigh the longest 97 minutes in my btc experience. Ok I had to wait longer on confirmations but back then I didn't no anything, so yeah I will never forget my first transaction.

The first time I made the transaction was the year of 2013 in the beginning .
My whole earning was from the faucet collection from freebitco.in . This site was very famouse at that time when the site was paying most then I entered in the bitcoin. , because at that time the price was very low but 1/3 of the current price .
When I send it for the fiat from the the person  then he said that this is very low amount And I can't give you money in bank you can make recharge of mobile top up . At last e made a recharge of 2$ .
That was a feeling of doing something strange than other in my community but still I was in fear that to sell bitcoin is a very hardworking job .

Feel sorry for you bro :'( I was in the same situation too but it was not my first time making a bitcoin transaction, which was when my friend introduced me of bitcoin and I bought a small amount of bitcoin and try sending him some. I've lost some of my bitcoin into the hand of these scam sites and yeah, the same thing happens over and over again, they ran away with my money and after many of being fooled, I've learned the lesson.

The possitive thing about your very negative experience is, that you obviously didn't loose your faith (or at least interest) in bitcoin. :)
Many of us came in touch with some kind of scam sometimes (me included), but we should take it as a lesson for a future. 8)

I remember it vividly. Here's how it goes: I decided to invest my precious btc to a btc investor site. Got their wallet address and then I click "send". My btc then went to 0. After a few minutes I checked my account in the company and still it's still not credited. I got nervous and then doubts sets in. Waited a few more minutes and still not there so I panicked and don't know what to do and its already like 1:00 am our local time however I can't sleep because I don't know what happened. However, I decided to check blockchain.info to see what going on. Only that time that I understand that I have to wait for few more minutes or hour to get my btc to my btc invest account. So I took a nap and then viola, it was already there. I was so happy then so the next time I try to send, I just stay patience and not worry about it like I did the first time.  ;D

It was around 2015 end I assume(I wish I am not wrong)
I felt that I was not doing the right thing and I very so damn nervous that you can't imagine.
I was a very tough situation for me and I felt that I am being too much risky with my money.
At the same time I was a bit excited too because since the childhood I have been in a habit of taking risks.
But when I got them traded and I earned a small amount of profit I was really happy.
Since then rest is history I mean I have been kinda addicted to bit coins cause they help me earn a handsome sum of money.
So this was the story of my first bitcoin transaction.

I actually sold a domain name before that point in bitcoin but I asked escrow to convert it in USD for me so I missed the bitcoin transaction at that time.

Yea , it was the most scary transaction.
Like I had to pay $7 , so I did all the procedures.
Then at the end it said pay this certain amount at this so and so address.
I was feeling very scared to send that huge amount like so casually.
But then I gained confidence and then I sent . The amount went but nothing poped up.
But then within 5 secs , is said that the transaction was successful and that was a relief.
From that day I make transactions without any problem.

I remember i have to check the bitcoin address I am sending to multiple times. I will read the first 5 characters, and then the last 5 characters. And check it again, reading it backwards. I was quite uncertain if I am doing it right because no one taught me how to do it. Fortunately, I did it right. The next time I sent bitcoins, it way lot easier.

None of the above. Sending BitCoin was as easy as 1 2 3.
I wasn't excited or unhappy. Sending BitCoin I think right before I bought something and just wanted to pay in BitCoin, so I did. It felt just like spending money online with a debit card, because basically it is.

i still remember the time i sent some of my coins to pay to the load i purchased from someone i knew. and that was my first time too. so i copy and pasted the btc address to where i should send the payment. copy paste - DONE! setting the amount - DONE! So as i was about to send the coins, im a bit confused if the address is right because im afraid that i might be entering the wrong address or added one letter to it.. so what i did was i compared the addy that i pasted to the addy he sent, every single character then it matched. so i decided to press the send button then boom! sent! so i waited for him to confirm that he received it, after he confirmed then i felt such relief.. even these day, whenever i send something, i always double check the address.

I remember when I first sent bitcoin to an address, I have checked the address for almost 10 time, read one by one character of that wallet address. It feel so weird to send your money without verification name like bank account.
And for the next transaction, I do trust my self, with just copy and paste the wallet address can't make one character change  :D

Since I'm new to bitcoin on that time because I want to invest bitcoin to earn, I cash-in money to my wallet then I convert it to bitcoin. I feel sad about that time because my hard earned bitcoin will go out of its home(wallet) but I just dont mind it for long because I know that I've used my bitcoin for good and apparently I'm benefiting of it until now but now I dont have any regrets of any transaction as I'm always double checking whether the address is wrong or not.

that's what i believe , most people start know about bitcoin through a faucet.
they collecting for weeks then able to withdraw all of them and then the first bitcoin transaction made to your wallet.

I do not send out bitcoins too often, mostly receive. When receiving my first payment from my first signature campaign about a year ago, I was very confused and nervous. I was pretty unsure of how bitcoin worked at

the time, and I was constantly checking my wallet to see if the "pending" notification would disappear. I was very unsure of what this meant, and I thought I did something wrong.

My first time sending bitcoin was to myself in my Poloniex account, where I was looking to invest some bitcoins into an alt coin. It was pretty nerve racking, and I was scared that typing in the wrong address

would lose the bitcoins I put in for ever.

I remember my first transactions with Bitcoin, I transfer the money from my xapo wallet to my wallet on blockchain. Only 20.000 satoshi that i find it from very terrible faucets. And i had worried my little bitcoin sent as well or not, sure fear to click 'send' button. But around 10 minutes my 20.000 satoshi receives in my blockchain wallet safely.

I don't have a clear memory of the first time I sent my bitcoin because it was not as exciting and thrilling as the first time I received my very first bitcoin. It dated back when I first joined the bitcoin world and I had no idea of what to do so I tried those typing captchas sites. I didn't earn much but the feeling of getting only just a little amount of money had driven me crazy like I had done something great ;D

My first time was in I think 2013 as well. I think I was sending some money to a friend, and before then I had only really received money (I was trying to earn as much as possible). It's funny to look back, I checked about 10 times that the address I copied was indeed the right one, because I was so paranoid that i might lose money by accident. I kept refreshing the page until the transaction was confirmed 😀

The first time ever i did a bitcoin transaction was when i sent my bitcoins to localbitcoins.com. I was working abroad in Dubai at that time.It took nearly half an hour for the transaction to get completed. I was very much excited and eagerly waited for the result. It was during MAY 2016.The transaction amount was around 0.30 btc.I saw the transaction fees to be low when compared to other currency exchanges.

I remember vividly. It was a gaming purchase. I always wanted to buy this particular game and I purchased it with bitcoin. I loved the feeling of it.
Ever since that when I need to buy something digitally I tried to look for bitcoin instead of credit card. Its more secure and much faster. Hell I do not think anyone would use fiat if they knew how easy it is to use bitcoins.

I still remember my first transaction as I sent it to wrong address as it was my first transaction and I was bit confused and by mistake I sent it to some third party, I was fortunate enough that amount was not too big but it made me more focused and now before sending my bitcoins I check and recheck the address as now I cannot afford to loose even a single penny of it.
A lot of new bitcoin users tend to get confused when it comes to sending bitcoin for the first time but luckily for them they don’t have that much at first so it is not a big deals if they got it wrong for the first time that way they can become more cautious when it comes to bitcoin addresses and sending money.

Not only the first time but every transactions I've ever made, feels something like an o**asm :D especially the part when it says beep!

Wow, okay! The "beep" part is referring to the online wallet on blockchain.info, I suppose?

From the amount of enthusiasm in your post one could guess that you send and receive transactions of very high value... or you just like Bitcoin so much that an incoming transaction of 0.001 makes you go nuts.

It felt really cool after that and its like you really want to do it again and again.

I don't remember my first transaction sent. I do remember my first transaction received, however. Someone, I do't know who, sent me small tip of 0.0001.
It was in 2013/14 but certainly not during bitcoin high price period, so BTC back then wasn't that valuable. Still remember fondly this random act of kindness.
People rarely send any tips through Bitcoin network anymore. Fees are killing BTC tipping business.

After I sent the second transaction, the first one suddenly changed and it showed I have 1 confirmation. I went to check it to blockchain.info and my first transaction was there again, despite the fact they wrote it was removed from their database. Then, after 10mins, both of the transactions were confirmed.. ??? Oh bitcoin, you make my hair go grey. :P ::)

Yeah I remember, it was not that long ago, 18 months ago and to be honest I was nervous since sending to such a weird address, full of letters and number was new to me, I remember checking the address over and over again and finally I sent the bitcoin, it was not much bitcoin, it was something close to 50mBTC.

I can't really remember every details of my first transaction but that was a very small amount when I was very new to bitcoin and was earning through faucets. I wanted to start trading with the little amount which I had earned in faucet. So I sent my bitcoins to them.

Since I had used coinbase, I didn't have to pay fees to the network, that I remember! It was mid 2014 and the bitcoin price was really low at that time. If I had bought some bitcoin that time, I would have become a rich man today!

I remember it like it was yesterday, but really it was at the end of 2015. I had just learned about Bitcoin from one of my friends who was an early investor, so I started going onto some faucets and earning a small amount of Bitcoin. Soon I was at about 0.01, and my friend called me up and said there was this website where you could make free profit, at the time I didn't know it was a ponzi scheme, but after I deposited it became apparent. Luckily for me, I was able to make some profit, but I am never going to put any money into a ponzi website ever again.

It was when I started paying some interest in bitcoin and wanted to interfere in this cryptocurrency world, and I had got a little from faucets, it was about a few dollars but it meant a lot to me. And it took me a while to only transfer the bitcoin from faucet sites to my wallet ;D I kept rechecking the address, I even checked every character, every number of it to make sure I copied it right ;D

I first had to stand in line for over an hour in a bank just to 'buy' those bitcoins from a local exchange.  :(
Then another hour to reread every instruction I could find on how to send.
And then this as well:  ;D
--
I kept rechecking the address, I even checked every character, every number of it to make sure I copied it right ;D
Then it was on to blockchain.info waiting and checking if I got the confirmation. And making sure the address was correct.

Plus, another time I probably won't forget, the first time I personally calculated and set the fees for a transaction. :D
Spent quite some time with the calculator, then double checking the formula and the suggested fee/byte at the time. I remember I was quite proud of myself then. Haha.  ;D
Memorable times.  ;D

Once verification complete, I was surprised that i transfer entire amount of Bitcoin only for verification !

I realized that faucet doesn't produce many bitcoin, I actually left faucet afterwards.

I don't remember well, but i think i either deposit to casino or simply transfer my bitcoin to other wallet. And looking at now, bitcoin transaction fees was only about 10K satoshi (less than 300 bytes) and it's equal to $0.1 or less ::)
Even though bitcoin price at that time was low, but tx fee was very low and transaction got confirmed quickly.

Recently I had a quite scary experience with bitcoin transaction. On Tuesday morning, I sent 0.016 btc with preset default Electrum fee (it was 50 satoshi/byte at the moment). Then after 48 hours of waiting and tracking my transaction on blockchain.info, it suddenly dissapeared and I got a message "Transaction rejected by our node. 50 satoshi/byte is very low these days, if you checkhttp://bitcoinfees.21.co/ (http://bitcoinfees.21.co/), they suggest you to use 180 satoshis/byte instead. Also, i think you should update your Electrum wallet since newest version don't have default fee anymore but user can choose fees with simple horizontal scroll.

Of course I know that page, but I don't check it everytime I need to send something and personally I think that 180 sat/byte is really high fee, especially for smaller transactions. You should use this fee if you want you transaction to be confirmed within one block, so lets say in ten minutes. When I need as fast transaction as this, I check the page and set the fees higher of course. But I just wanted to do a regular transfer and waiting for few hours was okay for me, so no need to set higher fee. But I really didn't expect it will take more than 3 days and that the transaction will be removed from the blockchain.info database. I have the newest version of Electrum installed and yes, there is the scroll option, but it is set on 50 sat by default, which I don't think is sooo incredibly low fee if you want your bitcoins to be transfered within hours.

I earned some bitcoin in my wallet, and decided to invest in one online business.

Most of the persons when they start in first time transaction mostly they are nervous or excited, because it was experience of online amount transfer and no one like to lose their amount, and also bitcoin amount transaction is not too much popular. So everyone feel excited when they do first time.

I dont feel excited or nervous during my first transaction but I am rather curious as to how the system works. I am very impatient at that time and wanted to absorb the technicalities behind the transactions. It is a pain in the head to understand the technical terms including the hashes ans the algorithms that are being used by the miners and developers. But it was fun and after my successful transfer I become lively and challenged at the same time.

I could only remember the anxiety of not missing any number in the address or sending  it to wrong address. I sent it to an exchange for trade. it took almost 30min before it was confirmed, I spent all the time reloading the page. It was a funny experience

Curiosity can't really be removed and I also test it out on how fast does a bitcoin transfer could be done and you are right it's really pain on the head regarding to those technical stuffs when we encounter it from the very first time.

The first time I made a bitcoin transaction was from my old wallet to my current wallet, and I remember I was hyped and thought that I made much because my wallet didn’t display how much in USD my balance was but when I did send it to my Xapo wallet I was disappointed because it was less than a dollar because I got it all from the faucets.

I think the very first transaction that i made is when i paid my friend for allowing me to take loans and i did it using bitcoin. In that time, all i know is to buy bitcoin and just another kind of back up money so i don't know how to grow my bitcoin and i'm just using it as another kind of currency to pay my friends that are far from me.

The first time I send bitcoin was December 2016, I sent the bitcoin to my poloniex trading platform for trading. I could remember after try to calculate the amount I want to be in my account and the charge. Then after I click send I went back to my poloniex Account to see if my transactions was successful and when I see that it was successful I feel happy.

As many users, my first earning too was from faucets. Also it's very small transaction which was withdrawn to the blockchain.info wallet. Everything looked like a dream when I got those amounts visible in the wallet. Later on slowly got moved to signature campaign.

Yes. Apparently it was the first time I summed up all my courage and bought some bitcoins. From one of my old friend and started trading with it. One of the best decisions I've made in my life..
