Title: gpu bracket?
Post by: faille on June 16, 2011, 04:23:29 AM
I don't have enough room on my motherboard, or even in my case, for a 3rd, and possibly 4th, video card.
My plan is to use riser cables, but still not sure how I can secure the card. I'd prefer to build some sort of bracket to hold it, and prefer that it could be put in the case somewhere as well. It's wide enough that it they can probably sit on the case's side panel when it's closed up.

This is my hybrid gaming rig, so I'd prefer it all be closed up, otherwise would just leave them out in the open.

Anyone got any suggestions or advice?

with riser cables, you aren't going to be able to mount it with the case closed. case in point, my dual rig: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=7216.msg225758#msg225758 (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=7216.msg225758#msg225758)
