Title: offering lending service, accepting accounts and raiblocks
Post by: mastica on January 30, 2017, 10:58:59 AM
Well im providing loans  and im willing to accept accounts here as well raiblocks.

How to apply:

Code:
username:
ammount requested:
colateral:

Since there isnt yet a marketplace for raiblocks, im setting the value i will risk for each mrai you use as colateral, being 50 satoshis.

If a user default here the colateral will be sold to cover the loan.

Asking for "reason" is stupid.  People will lie to tug at your heart strings.  The reason is irrelevant.   :-\

Banks generally will not give a loan without a stated reason that will somehow benefit the borrower. This is especially the case for no collateral loans (signature loans). This is part of responsible lending and helps gauge the chances of repayment.

Comparing the wild west of bitcoin to the legitimized banking system?   ::)

Asking for a reason just gives a scammer a reason to lie, and makes the lender look beyond the dollars and sense to the emotional part.

It's not necessary and will overall increase the amount of false (lying in reason) loans and lessen the chances of repayment.

If a potential borrower is unable to give a reason why they need the loan (regardless of their reputation) that matches the situation when asked, then there is a decent chance the loan will not be repaid. This will generally not matter if the loan is secured by collateral (the lender can simply sell the collateral to cover the loan in the event of a default), however it is important for no collateral loans.

People LIE about their reason for getting a loan, esp if they are going to default.  As a liar yourself you should understand this.   :-\

Asking for a reason is just increasing your chances of being scammed, as they will be able to tell you whatever they think you want to hear.

Bitcoin is all about numbers.  Don't let emotion get involved.

Apologizes to the OP for cluttering up the thread.

Banks have the power and they will force you to spend the loan on what you declared. In many cases you don't even own the money, if you borrow to buy a house the funds are transfered directly to the seller account.

In here, asking for a reason is useless. The only thing that counts is the collateral.

Due the big discussion around the reason i will remove it, but im able to lend btc for mrai, and just even if the reason were something idiot the main interest is the mrai that the person will put as colateral, anyway thanks for the sugestion.
