Price will change for 470/480 when Nvidia drops the price of the 1070 when the 1080ti hits. I agree that I don't believe Vega is going to have a significant effect on 470/480 pricing. Yes quite possibility. However I don't understand why any miners care about the VEGA. It will most likely lead into the 700 day ROI times since the high end GPUs always carry a huge premium. And the way ETH mining is designed it won't hash any faster than 42MH/s anyways. I only care about the price drop, don't care the reason lol -- now if VEGA turns out to be the "new wheel" that has super high hashrates that make the return worth the investment. I'll gladly pay more for one. I'll gladly pay more for one. Remember when the R9 290 came out? It was double the price of the 280X and only 15% faster in mining. Vega 10 is high end, probably will not be suitable for mining considering price/perf.
