MAR have already had its own wallet and many pools are supporting it. Do you think that they will get listed on Poloniex after the pre-sale?

I don't think, poloniex has potcoin, which is also related coin, there is no reason to add another one. Actually they add special coin, unless your coin will implement some more special features.

I think it was a nice experiment, and not a bad idea. However, the problem is that in my opinion the market for this coin is WAY too small. Bitcoin has a hard time appealing to the mainstream masses, and these kinds of cPins struggle to interest most Bitcoin users. Sounds like a copy of pot coin.

i don't think marijuana coin is a great coin, because it is probably another alternative to cannabis coin? ??? if this coin really existed then the people who commonly calls cannabis coin as marijuana coin would confuse of which coin he/she is talking about.

The Name shouldn't really be a big issue. what really matters is how well the Project is. Marijuana coin has a big potential but like other coins, It might fall on the sideslines possibly because They're other coins already fulfilling the same purpose. If Marijuana coin wants to succeed, They should implement a notable feature that PotCoin, Tokes or any other Cannabis Coin hasn't implemented yet. A feature the community will love. Still a long way to go ;)

When I first read the coin's name it made me laugh for real. But it seems that interest from the people on that coin is not that tough.
I don't think that they will be listed on poloniex but maybe with yobit.

From branding aspects "POT" probably makes the worst appearance. "Marijuana" sniffs at least unmistakeable for a new nose poking into these matters. There is/was "CANN" which still seems to exist without any more reasons to do so, formerly pegged asset which turned out a lie.
The Name would matter, but it's allready to late.
CANN at Bittrex, POT at Poloniex, the exchange scene seems saturated enough to just sit out another. From investor experience those "weedcoins" run into desaster, everyone of them. Is Altcoincenter still alive?

I think It So Much coins based Marijuana plus the very popular his coin POT see prices now always stay at 2k as CTO of coins pot plays a very important role in doing development and innovation even in Market poloniex as in control of his prices by CTO Coin POT

The name is a big issue because it can easily make the people confused. And they might misunderstand about which coin is better and which is worst. I have checked the Marijuana coin website and i think that the project is awesome. However, the name can easily cause a lot of trouble if they want to list it on famous trading platform like poloniex

possible meaning of the name that brings good luck to the coin, and I also do not suspect the greatness of the coin, that he could enter the market is very good for this kind of coin.

For to many reasons to list. Never going to work. You have the wrong model. You need to focus on contract for delivery tokens, instead of speculation currency. And the states it IS legal in requires you to have licenses to sell weed, do you have one?

I think it's bad it has such a name, it can distract people and some just won't accept it because of promoting light drugs. And it was designed and purposed specifically for marijuana industry as written in the ANN thread. And I suppose we can say that in terms of code it is another clone of bitcoin. Maybe it is not meant to become popular and so it won't. It's new but it looks like it's dying already, being worth $0.05 right now.

Its a cryptocoin for the marijuana industry.Just the name would cause a little bit confusion.

If anyone wants to have a laugh at how silly this project really is then look at the mar roadmap from their op.

Specifically look at point 4 and 5.

Point 4, "we have 6 clones that we are making seeds with". Wow oh wow, a whole 6 strains, out of what several 1000s of strains already out there and 1000s more continually coming. Fun fact, todays seed breeders are kids, including these mar coin jokers, the real seed breeders plant a 1000, select a few best, crossbreed, repeat, repeat, repeat. And nowadays you need someone like snoopdog to rap about your pheno type in order for it to be popular, then you need to advertise the shit out of your products. 6 clones, lol, no one wants your six clones genetics.


Point 5, "we are going to grow 30-50 plants, then harvest, then use proceeds to buy mar coin". Lol, I couldn't make this shit up. People should be running from this. And if they don't, who cares, I'm 1000% certain this project will crash within a year, 2 tops. 30-50 plants indoors is probably half a single car garage. This is teeny. Profits after paying overhead will be minuscule. These profits then go to buy mar? Lol. This garden will be out of business soon.

Notice in point 4 they mention selling seeds. In point 5 they mention 30-50 plants. Notice my point about breeding, it takes 1000s of plants. Ie, these are just kids trying to pull the wool over dumb ass speculators eyes.

But good on them, dumb speculators are a dime a dozzen around here.

For me it is not good to invest to. Marijuana coin? The name itself is not good. In my opinion, it would later on be one of those shit coins. Be careful on investing. Have a background check first.
